Iji Family Can't Be Honest • Chapter 1

Project Overview

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by.  I'll try to make this short and concise.

About me: 
I'm a full-time voice actor. I have 20+ years of experience in acting, directing, producing, and teaching.
This is not boasting - it simply means things are going to get done.

My last project, Iji Family Can't Be Honest, was completed recently and I'm ready to make another one.

Project status:
Manga pages are ready to go. Discord is organized and ready to receive actors.
All that remains is a cast of voice actors and we're ready to begin production.

Requirements:
• You must be an actor.
• You must be able to take direction.
• You must be able to produce high-quality audio in 24-bit 48kHz mono wav.
• If you're incapable of those things, you must be willing to learn, experiment, and try.
• Have discord.
• Be professional - in your conduct, performance, and commitment.
• Payment is handled through Paypal and amount is according to the workload.

Don't let the above intimidate you. Again, it just means that I'm a professional who knows what he's doing and that things will get done.
How many projects have you been involved in that fizzled into nothingness only after a week? That will not happen here.

For everyone else, it's important to understand that you are in no way a "bad actor." Sometimes, you're just not the right fit. While that may be the case here, you will be the perfect fit for another character elsewhere. Your audio may not be up to snuff - I've left many comments and feedback, and I'd expect you to be able to produce better audio for when I come back with another project. Sometimes, someone else had a better audition than you. You've got to work harder to hone your craft so that you come out on top next time. ---- Rejection is part of the lifecycle for an actor - for a voice actor. If you do not at the current moment, please learn to either love it or let it go. Love it so much that it propels you to work harder and get better, or breezily let it go because the next audition for the next project is waiting. ---- I wish you all loads of luck in your future endeavors. Haruko is a completely normal high school teenager with one little quirk: she's a father-con. After six years of living separately due to the divorce, she decided to move to her father's house to attend her high school.

    He said whoopsies... what is he, a little rascal?! Ahhhh--- Jeez, that's so cute!!

  • (In a burst of emotion, can't hold it back)

    His eyes that seem to look through everything, but also encompasses a sense of affection!! Ahhh! He's so lovable that I'm going to lose my mind!!

  • (determination - an inner monologue)

    You got this, Haruko! You're going to tell him!! It's your feelings towards your dad whom you love so much!!
