  • (Concerned, carefully giving advice to his superior)

Ahh. Well, she IS a high school girl, after all. She's in her puberty, so I'm sure it's difficult for you.

  • (quick burst response)

EH!? BUT *YOU* SAID IT YOURSELF, CHIEF!

  • (quick burst response - would like to hear the slight difference in intensity between the two sentences)

ARE YOU A LITTLE GIRL?! Your daughter complex is way too much!!

Well, congrats on your first audition! I'm honored that I get to be the start of your journey here on CCC. :) Even if you don't get it, I'd love to offer some guidance. ------ 1. Are you aware of the fact that the audio is only coming out of the left speaker? I don't know what DAW you're using, so I can't offer precise help, but this is something that must be fixed right away. ------ 2. I love the thick Greek accent. I, too, have an accent in my delivery (I'm Korean) and while we're both accented-English actors, my English is much closer to the native American English. I'd recommend working with a dialect coach to solidify your English - whether that's American, English, or Canadian. It does not mean your English is bad, so that your delivery was bad - it just means that you need to add that TOOL into your set of skills IN ADDITION to your naturally Greek-accented English. There'll come a time when you'll charge a lot for your Greek-English. I do for my Korean-English. >:) ------- 3. Watch anime. A lot of projects here on CCC involve Japanese content and watching and actively observing how the Japanese seiyuu deliver his/her lines can be a big resource. --- I hope these are helpful to you! Good luck! :D

Thank you, I really do appreciate your guidance ! About the speaker , I am unsure because I do not have headphones and the sounds come out of the on screen speakers so I did not notice that on my end, I'll try to investigate further because if that's the case that is an issue and thank you for pointing it out :) Do you have any suggestions for a website for dialect coaches or do I just google away? Even if you don't, your hints are way more than enough so I'm grateful. I'll try to work on what you said all the while auditioning with them in mind ( but first to fix the audio issue ) to get better. Thank you very much ! :)
