Thank you for your patronage!
That's quite the voice you got there, sir! Thank you for taking the time to audition for this project. If it'll be alright with you, I’d like to request a follow-up audition with the following notes. Your choice, of course. ———— The GRAVEL in your voice is wonderful. The deep tone combine with the texture of your voice can be appealing to a lot of applications - something you know already. However, what I’m looking for here is a Nature Documentary Narrator. Whenever “Nature Documentary” is mentioned in a spec, it naturally means Sir David Attenborough. I’d like to hear your narrator, influenced by Sir David Attenborough’s style of delivery. Please do not imitate or impersonate - I’m merely looking for the characteristics of his narration, colored by your own personality. To be of additional help, I’d like to reduce your gravel as much as possible. I’d like the narrator here to be smooooooth and cruuuuuising. ——— Secondly, please pronounce “Haruko” as “HAruko”. not “haRUko”. Also “HA tsu ta ro” and not “HA tsu TA ro” ——— Third, introductions won’t be necessary, as I’ve heard it in your first audition :) ——— I like your American accent. Please use that one. ———— Lastly, I’d like you to use the SAME CADENCE for both “Iji Hatsutaro. 41 years old. Father” and “Iji Haruko. 15 years old. Daughter”. Deliver the two EXACTLY the same way. —— I appreciate your time, sir. Thank you in advance.
