Hi and thanks for auditioning! Since you asked, I'd love to share a few things of note. :) ------- 1. I love the first line. It has just enough condescendence in the tone to make it right for the context. Well done. ----- 2. Your sibilance is quite strong. Consider using a de-esser or using EQ to tame that down a bit ---- 3. "But" was a small plosive - record at a 45-degree angle from the diaphragm to avoid that ---- 4. In the second part of the script, you're speaking so fast that I'm losing words. I'd try to slow it down and really try to understand the context in which your character is speaking these lines. ---- 5. Lastly, the final part of the audition portion is peaking - distorting the audio. I love that you have the energy and the guts to make loud sounds, but you have to adjust your gain down to make sure you don't overload the microphone. Recording at the same level (gain level) as the conversational tone is going to result in your audio peaking, which is completely unusable. ---- I hope these comments help!
