About We Dub Thee Fandubs:
We are a combination of fandub group and creative forum for both veteran and initiate fan voice actors and writers that wish to create content for the video game and anime communities of YouTube.
About a Showcase Dub:
A showcase dub is a short character reel that creates hype for a particular aspect of a video game or an anime that is recognizable or important within that creative medium's gameplay or world.
About Guilty Gear Rev 2:
The latest iteration in the long-running Guilty Gear (1998) fighting game franchise, this game sees the aftermath of the events of Guilty Gear: XRD and Revelator. Featuring over 25 playable characters, both newcomers and old favorites from the series, in flashy and devastating gameplay.
About this project:
This showcase dub is to both demonstrate some of the flashiest attacks in this game and give this version of Guilty Gear a feature lacking in its current iteration with an english dub. Voice actors will be required to voice act three or more sequences of attack animations and dialogue depending on the character. You are not required to re-create the original voice actor's voice verbatim, but you should still take mental notes of the character's canonical personality and mannerisms within the original dub. This project will be another recruitment fandub for our group, but do not feel obligated to join if you are uninterested or are unable to commit to our dynamic.

New Deadline
This fandub's deadline has been pushed back to the 18th in order to make up for a restructuring in our project. Any auditions that come during this time are final, and redos must be submitted no later than the 15th of September. Any deadlocked audition roles will be submitted to our board for a final audition process to definitely decide on an actor's role. Further information on this will be given on the day of the deadline.

Having lived for over 100 years, Sol has had his share of battle and wishes to make up for the creation of gears through their suppression; as well as the power and weaponry to make that possible
Sol is not a friendly person, often speaking in an unrefined or even crass manner, and prefers to let his actions speak louder than his words. Yet, he carries a compassionate side to himself he shows towards the wronged or innocent. Though Sol is a person that speaks only when necessary, he ultimately carries a strong emotional center to counteract his otherwise bad attitude.

Ky is a man of principle and duty, adhering heavily to his sense of justice and religious devotion; traits that put him at odds with his choices of being with Dizzy and letting go of his past hatred for Sol. Whether on the battlefield or in his throne, Ky is a man that does not relent with the same determination he ended the war with.

Millia Rage is feminine to a degree, as she understands her role within her organization yet will strike back when injustice presents itself to her. The greatest of these comes from Zato-1, who's advances and subsequent struggle with made her adverse to men and turned her much colder.

Zato once embodied the brutal efficiency of the guild, yet following his resurrection he has achieved a blank state; with only his memory of Millia remaining in his mind.
As a result of his resurrection, Zato's mindset has reverted to an emotionless state, as all of his memories and emotions have been erased. In spite of this, Zato's own physical and mental skills have not faded, including the use of his forbidden beast, Eddie.

May is a cheerful, and kind girl that is utterly dedicated and romantically attracted to her adoptive father Johnny. While May's age is currently unknown, her childish nature and overall innocent mind lend many to believe she's stuck in the mentality of a 13 year old.

Potemkin's strength is said to be so great, that the sheer magnitude of his punches can destroy mountains; something the current Zepp government has managed to control using his restriction suit.
In spite of his fearsome appearance, Potemkin is actually a peaceful and calculating mind that only sees fighting as a desperate action when all other diplomacy fails. He carries a great deal of loyalty to his current president, and will defend his new home with all his earth shattering strength.

Having based himself in the Japanese arts as a result of his training, he has overall become possessed with the Japanese image, to the point of basing his own country around it.
Chipp is a bold and straightforward man that believes in the phrase 'the quickest route is the best route' to resolving problems. Despite his somewhat irresponsible mentality, Chipp is overall a kind and benevolent person that ultimately wishes to help those that can't help themselves; even if it ultimately is to stretch his own approval ratings.

The current active leader of the Assassin's Guild, and Zato's former apprentice, Venom is a master strategist and magic user, specializing in a strange method of assassination through billiard mathematics and a deadly pool cue. Having once sworn loyalty to Zato, Venom ultimately saw the wrongdoings of the guild and now seeks to undo their ambitions from within.
Peace of mind and a logical demeanor are traits to describe Venom, though he ultimately understands the importance of morality and empathy when dealing with people. Venom is a paradox of an assassin, as both his fighting style and personality clash heavily with his profession, yet his powerful mind and magic ultimately make up for it in spades.

I-No is a malicious, sadistic, and overall very uncharitable woman that frequently uses expletives and sexual innuendos to mock her opponents. She's evil to a degree, yet she understands the repercussions of her actions; though ultimately rarely cares.

Strange, odd, bizarre are all adjectives that fail to describe Faust's abilities and persona in terms of quantitative scale. Formerly know as Dr. Baldhead, Faust once went insane with grief, yet ultimately found his way again following a reassessment of his past sins, and now travels the world attempting to help others again; albeit in his own strange and disturbing methods.
Faust lives in a state of mind that could be described as controlled madness, where his words and actions are coherent and have meaning, yet could be construed as too bizarre to properly understand. He ultimately means well in his work, though many don't see it this way and often give him a cautious observance.

He's been looking for a challenge to his own immense power for thousands of years, yet has given up on searching for it and instead retired to a cozy luxurious life with his wife Sharon.
No matter what adversary has come, Slayer retains an air of calm, collected appraisal to his opponents, judging them even when they're actively trying to kill him. This could be seen as mocking, yet Slayer ultimately knows there's no bout to be had in fighting with his full strength. A sporting gentleman's chance as he would call it.

While Bedman is asleep at all points, his dreams and waking nightmares depict him as a fast talker, and a logically sociopathic person that only cares for an outcome rather than the means of achieving it. Whatever Bedman's real goals are, they are something probably best left out of sound minds.

Where Ramlethal is emotionally distant, Elphelt is emotionally close, as she loves all life and sees hope in humanity beyond their past actions. She's an optimist, and even when banished to another dimension without hope of return, will never stop smiling or hoping for a better outcome.

One of the three allied kings to Ky's nation of Illyria, and the creator of his own dictionary, Leo Whitefang is a man that leads from the front. An ex-crusader like Ky, he has gained a great deal of respect for his allied king as a result of martial and physical prowess; though he's not one to admit himself lower than Ky.
Leo is incredibly proud, and rarely lets an insult or loss go unanswered, yet in spite of his overall self-obsession he's actually a kind, generous and just king. He believes that a fight is only won with equal ground, and will rarely go to trickery to suit his own gains.

Johnny is a suave, and eloquent man of play in terms of women and games of chance. Having grown up rich, his father always taught him to be generous, and after his death dedicated his own life to caring for others, even if it meant being a renegade air-pirate captain.
Being the captain of the Jellyfish pirates, he sees his role in the world as a Robyn Hood figure, as he wishes for the downtrodden to carry the fortune he once had. This generous attitude is offset by his love for women, gambling and himself.

There is a great deal of mystery surrounding Jack-O. Some say she is part of the Prime Gear Justice that suffered a glitch, while others infer she's an incomplete Valentine being that went insane. One thing is for sure though, there's nothing truly stable or cohesive about this strange woman.
Jack-O's state of mind is in constant flux, as her emotions and tone of voice change at the slightest, and sometimes even at no, provocation. The only real constants in her are the strange mask and stick of toffee she carries around, as she cannot function without their proximity.

Kung-fu master chef with only slight more luck than Axl in regards to financial stability, Jam fights for the simple goal of striking it rich as a restaurateur. Serving time as a mercenary and as a bounty hunter, Jam wishes to regain her fortunes by taking people in, be they dragons or gods.
While her goal is far from noble, Jam is a friendly character, even to those she's wheeling in for money. An expert on chinese food and combat, Jam loves to express her cultural heritage and cuisine to anyone that will try it, even if she ends up charging for more bruises than fried rice.

A long-time servant of 'That Man', Raven is an immortal ex-soldier that ceased to age at the moment of his first death in the medieval battlefields of Germany. Having lived for more time than even he can remember, Raven had grown bored of the world's physical values and secluded himself in boredom and grief until 'That Man' gave him a new purpose.
Raven is a calm, polite, and somewhat eloquent to those he's holding a conversation with. Yet beneath this is a penchant for masochism that borders on psychosis, as Raven's body will continue to revive even if he's turned to ashes, seeking to feel joy in pain to once again feel alive.

The man you see before you is not a man, but young woman in the robotic guise of the old head of her family, though not everyone in Haehyun's family knows that. The descendant of a long line of tuners, Haehyun is currently one of the few wielders of ki in the world, as well as a natural actress.
Kum Haehyun could be considered wise beyond her years, as her own powers, coupled with her robotic form, have given her a natural world view of a gray scale morality. When in the guise of Jun Ryu Kum, the old head of her family, she puts on an air of noble, self-aggrandizement, complete with pretentious quotes.

The body of a commander Gear is blessed with immeasurable strength and the power to command thousands of gears, yet Dizzy sees it as a curse on her body in the forms of Necro and Undyne, her left and right wings respectively. She allowed herself to be imprisoned by her husband Ky as a means of keeping their relationship hidden as well as to guard her power, yet her resplendent return has given her a new sense of freedom.
Dizzy is a quiet and very innocent woman that sees purity in all things, wishing to safeguard them. Having only lived for 8 years, Dizzy's mind is still inexperienced to the world, with her own upbringing and subsequent imprisonment further complicating it.

A woman that survived the crusades as a child and swore her life to killing 'That Man', Baiken lives and breathes for her revenge, taking every struggle along her way as a stepping stone to that final goal. Being one of the last remaining Japanese along with Anji and May, Baiken touts her culture yet seeks no special treatment for it.
Baiken is a woman of principle and oaths, yet remains anti-social and reclusive to others. She carries with her the soul of a warrior first, and only wishes the satisfaction of revenge and possibly death as her only rewards for her creed.
Voice: Low; Unfriendly, aggressive, and almost man-like tone to her voice.
