Project Overview

Summary:

The Girl with the Glass Heart has lived her entire life looking through a hospital room window, always dreaming of something more. When she receives the news that she is dying... and her surgery may only have a 20% success rate, she decides to make one of her dreams come true.  However, she never could have expected, that she would find love as well.


Details:

This is an otome game with 5 male romantic love interests.  Glass Heart is currently in the pre-production phase so character designs are still subject to change. 

I am currently seeking voice actors for the five (5) male leads. As time goes on, I will also be posting roles for supporting, minor, and extras.

I am in need for an audio editor. to ensure all recordings are level and clean. 

REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have a good mic. 

Will Not Accept: Cell phones, headsets, low-quality recording devices, etc. 

Prefer: Blue Yeti Quality and above. 

* Must be, 18 years of age or older. Minors will not be cast as main or supporting roles due to potential mature content. Please respect this.

*Paid Voice Actors must have Paypal.

*Voice Actors must have a Discord.

* Be prepared to be patient. Glass Heart is in Pre-Production. While the initial script and routes are nearly completed, there will  be additional scenes added and edited as we move forward.

  *Paid voice actors will receive their payment upon completing all lines to the developer's satisfaction. However, it will be expected, that if revisions, additions, or edits are needed post-payment, that the voice actor will still record those lines, without additional payment, unless agreed upon by developer.

* Non-Disclosure Agreement - Those who receive scripts are forbidden to share scripts, spoilers, or information to outside parties. By accepting the role, you also accept the non-disclosure agreement. Violation of this agreement can be met with legal repercussions.

  • Thank you, Information, & Extras:

    I would like to, personally, thank all of you for your auditions. We are now reaching the final few characters that need to be cast. There has been an outstanding number of auditions throughout this casting call with so many talented voice actors. Due to this, it was very difficult to choose who to cast. If you were not chosen for a role, please know that it was not due to lack of talent. We have a specific vision for each character and went with the voices that we felt match the character best. There are still a few minor characters available that we have not yet cast. We are also needing extras. If you are interested in being a part of Glass Heart, please audition for those extra roles. Extra’s must be 16 years or older. Extras are credited in-game, just not a scene character. Though, some characters may change from extra to minor roles with a character design. We are still in pre-production so things are subject to change. If you are interested, please audition with the lines given. If cast as an extra, you will receive a private message from me.     As the initial deadline is drawing to a close, we are getting our cast list ready.     To all who have auditioned: It has been one week since this Casting Call has opened up and there has already been an outstanding number of auditions. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your auditions and time. There are so many talented voice actors that have auditioned, which will make the act of choosing who to cast very difficult. If you have auditioned, but have not been shortlisted, please do not be discouraged. We still have quite a few more characters that have not, yet, been posted to this casting call. Please be sure to keep an eye out, because your voice could be exactly what we are needing for that character. For those shortlisted: As it gets closer to the end of the original deadline (June 21st), I will be posting additional lines that I would like to hear for each character. Chris Stuver is one of Will's close friends and is part of the "Nerd Squad". He is the History Guru and has a photographic memory.  While he appears throughout Will's route, he doesn't have nearly as many lines as other supporting cast. Due to this, Chris is NOT a paid role. He IS, however, a scene character (meaning he will have a design and will appear on the screen when voiced). If you are chosen for this character, you will receive proper credits in the game for voicing them.

Chris Stuver is a white (Caucasian) male who wears glasses. He has a unique style of wearing button up dress shirts with shorts.

Matthius has the potential to possibly become a paid role and have his own route in a DLC Addition to Glass Heart.

Voice Type: Any Female Voice - We will know it when we hear it.

Krystol Rulle is a lead/supporting character in Will's route.  She is a Med student who dreams of being a cardiologist.  Her personality is somewhat quirky/socially awkward, but fun-loving and kind. She is one of the few nice girls in Glass Heart. Krystol becomes best friends with MC and is always teasing her about Will. 

While she only appears in Will's route, she has a significant amount of lines and plays an important role in his route.. Due to this, the person cast for her role will receive $10 rather than the standard $5 payment.

    Line 2:  Ohhhhhh…. Heh… You’re my One Month buddy… and William was… obviously… helping you out… and.. I really want to crawl in a hole and hide now… This is so embarrassing.


    Line 3:  Look at you blushing! You are absolutely adorable!!


    Line 4: Wow… So even the heart throb William Grant can get friend zoned… That’s surprising.

  • Line 5:  She will be FINE. Girls don’t like clingy, overprotective guys…Just go do your thing, and I will take care of her.

Dr. Virginia Moran appears throughout the story and routes. In Jay's route, she is the main antagonist. Moran is completely obsessed with Jay, to an unhealthy extent. She hides it well in a professional environment, but she is not afraid to get her hands dirty if it means keeping Jay and MC apart. She is one of the few supporting characters that has their own Point-of-view moments where the player can know her thoughts and actions.

  • Line 1: Okay. Thankfully, that fall didn’t do too much damage. Though, I do recommend you rest the remainder of the day.


    Line 2: You should be more careful with your body. Otherwise, Dr. Hartman will worry unnecessarily.


    Line 3: Get her on a gurney… Call Dr. Hartman… Meira, just focus on breathing. Try to stay as calm as you can, okay?

  • Line 4: So, I was wondering if maybe we could grab something for lunch today? Just us?

    Line 5: Oooooh…. Looks like our little glass hearted girl is breaking down.


    Line 6: Honestly, once again… He turns me down thanks to that little glass-hearted girl… He’s so obsessed with her… It’s ridiculous… A girl like her shouldn’t even catch his eye… No degree… No family… DYING… It’s stupid… Here I am with my doctorate… a great body… independent.. plenty of money.. and beautiful, yet he just blows off all of my advances.

YOLO is one of the most notorious hackers in the underworld. She appears in Jay Hartman's route and helps the antagonist. She is extremely eccentric and only cares about challenging puzzles, junk food, and anime. She's over-the-top, but not necessarily loud when doing it.  YOLO is not a paid role, but she is a scene character (meaning she appears on screen). The Voice actor will be credited for her role.

Due to this, Trent is NOT a paid role. He IS, however, a scene character (meaning he will have a design and will appear on the screen when voiced). If you are chosen for this character, you will receive proper credits in the game for voicing them.

Trent is a white (Caucasion) male. He has a normal style consisting of T-Shirts and pants or shorts. Aside from Will, he's one of the more attractive guys in the "Nerd Squad".

Kyle Jordone is a talented choreographer who works with Eli and MC throughout Eli's Route. He is passionate, kindhearted, and very caring, though he can be super intimidating.  While he appears throughout Eli's route, he doesn't have nearly as many lines as other supporting cast. Due to this, Kyle is NOT a paid role. He IS, however, a scene character (meaning he will have a design and will appear on the screen when voiced). If you are chosen for this character, you will receive proper credits in the game for voicing them.

Kyle is a handsome African American male. He's very tall and muscular and towers over everyone. He takes pride in his appearance and is always well-dressed, even during practices.

  • Line 1:  I’m Kyle Jordone… What’s your name, Sweetie?

    Line 2:  Right to the point as always… Yes. As soon as you sent over that acoustic cover, I got RIGHT on the choreography.


    Line 3: (Directing) That’s perfect!!! Eli, hit those moves like your life depends on it! I want this conclusion to bring the audience to their feet!!! I need to see that passion!



  • Line 4: (Intimidating) You are quite bold to ask an artist to change their artistic vision… (Agreeing) But…. I see what you mean…. I think our little glass hearted girl is adorable… and… I don’t like the sight of her collapsing…. So, I will see what I can do.

Phillip Corelli is a flamboyant cosmetologist who is called in to doll MC up. He is fun-loving, a hopeless romantic, and completely ships MC and Nathan together.   While he appears throughout Nathan's route,  he doesn't have nearly as many lines as other supporting cast. Due to this, Phillip is NOT a paid role. He IS, however, a scene character (meaning he will have a design and will appear on the screen when voiced). Michael appears in Jay Hartman's Route. He is a med student who is in his final year of med school. He has volunteered to help Dr. Hartman with the MC's surgery. Michael is a kind person with a passion for any and all things medical related. He plays an important role in saving the MC's life. Michael is not a paid role, but he is a scene character (He will appear on screen when voiced). The voice actor will be credited in game for his role.

Voice- Med-Low voice. No accent

Jay Hartman is a genius heart surgeon/cardiologist who has taken care of MC since he began interning as a doctor. He has a soft-spot for the MC. He is kind, gentle, but also completely capable of being very intimidating.


Jay is in many of the other routes and has significantly more lines than other male leads, therefore he will receive higher payment due to increased workload.  


I may request additional lines as I choose who to cast.

Tamaki Hashimoto is a florist who visits the hospital and hands out flowers to the patients.... He has suffered a great loss in his life that he blames himself for and cannot move forward from. However, slowly.. MC teaches him to live again.

Tiffanie Karlton is an entitled, obnoxious woman in Will's Route. She is Will's ex-girlfriend, who doesn't want to give him up. 

I placed Tiffanie as a supporting character, but she barely makes the mark for supporting... She is more of a minor; however, that can change as revisions are made to the script. She is pretty crucial in Will's route so this is why we decided to go ahead and have her as a paid role.

Claire Billingsly is Nathan's fiance. While it is a political marriage, she isn't fond of Nathan spending time with the MC. She can act kind, but is really manipulative and stuck-up.

Kathryn Meliz is the no-nonsense manager to Eli Henderson. She can be very blunt and businesslike, but also gets pretty protective over Eli. Overtime, she warms up to MC in her own way. 

While Kathryn appears throughout Eli's route, she doesn't have as many lines as some of the other supporting characters. Due to this, Kathryn is NOT a paid role. She IS, however, a scene character (meaning she will have a design and will appear on the screen when voiced). If you are chosen for Kathryn, you will receive proper credits in the game for voicing her.

  • Line 1: No thank you. I am pretty spent from the travels. I’m not as young as you two.. I need more rest.


    Line 2: Hey Kiddo… Let’s check your heart again.


    Line 3: Go to your room and rest. You still have many more days of fun ahead of you. If you push your body too hard, you may end up missing out on those days.

  • Line 4: That’s no surprise. As deep into your own thoughts as you were, I’d be surprised if you noticed a train coming.


    Line 5: Love doesn’t always happen slowly.. Sometimes, it just takes a moment and your heart is stolen from you. But… If I were you, I would gather your bearings. She’s dying....

    Line 6: I’m not saying this to convince you about what you do or do not feel… But to warn you, so you do not experience heart break… Just your little rendezvous this morning, has exhausted her to the point to where she will need to rest the remainder of the day. This is the reality.
