Fallout 4 Mod: Fourville - Recasting

Project Overview

Fourville is a large mod for Fallout 4. There are a huge range of roles available for people of all ages and genders, some big and some small.

The mod takes place in the town of Fourville, a shanty town which has been built around the entrance to Vault 4. The town was founded 200 years ago by a group of survivors of the nuclear war who believed that they could wait for the vault to open and take refuge inside. When the vault never opened, the town gradually built up until it housed dozens of residents. When the player discovers the town, there is an election going on. They can choose to support either the incumbent mayor, Wayne Sanders, or his challenger, Paula McKenzie. Part way through the story Vault 4 finally opens, expanding the pool of characters for the player to interact with.

I have classified the characters in the following ways: Wayne Sanders and Paula McKenzie are main characters because they deliver the main questline, although they are not necessarily the biggest roles. Any character classed as "supporting" has their own side quest for the player. Any classed as "minor" have a lot of lines, but no associated quest. Any classed as "extra" appear in other people's quests, but do not have one of their own. Some of these "extra" characters will also have the same voices as generic citizens; this will be indicated in the role description. Given that,  as a student, I have no disposable income, and the mods make no money, most of the roles are unpaid. However, characters who have an expectationally large number of lines, or who I felt needed a greater emotional range, have a small payment attached.

I have classified a "line" in the same way the Creation Kit does: a maximum of 150 characters. Some lines may be shorter than that.

Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like!

I've had some great auditions so far, I'm very excited with how the project is going. There have been quite a lot of auditions for some characters, and very few for others. If you're thinking of auditioning, or have already auditioned, it might be wise to go for one of parts with fewer auditions, or audition for multiple parts.

Latest Updates

  • Recasting

Just an update to anyone following this project: I'm currently re-casting a few roles. I'm especially interested in getting someone to play the part of Logan, who is the largest part in the mod and is paid.
  • Deadline Day

Today is deadline day for the auditions, which means I'll shortly begin the process of casting. I've had loads of really great auditions and it's going to be quite difficult to choose between them. If the part you've auditioned for is cast and there are still other parts uncast feel free to put another audition in for those. I may have to expand the deadline for some of the parts which received very few auditions. Thank you to everyone who put in an audition. - Seddon4494
