Project: RAZE | FPS videogame | Early Access

Project Overview

Project RAZE: Fall of Terra is a highly ambitious, upcoming single-player sci-fi FPS made by me, a passionate solo developer from the Czech Republic.

This time, instead of as a survival horror (you might remember the CCC call for Gravewatch), I am creating a fast-paced, story-driven shooter inspired by games like DOOM and Halo, with a heavy narrative focus and a strong emphasis on cinematic voice acting.

Quick Story of Project RAZE:
In this game, the player plays as RZ-01 (“Raze”), a hyper-advanced combat android originally created to protect humanity. As Raze, players battle through orbital battlefields, enemy warships, robot hordes, and zealot soldiers controlled by the Auraliths: a rogue human faction worshipping a machine-god called VORA.

Overview:

Project RAZE is a passion project I’ve been working on for thousands of hours and will be coming out in just a couple of months. A strong cast of voice actors will help bring the universe, characters, and enemies of RAZE to life.

The first trailer for project RAZE has been created with a placeholder AI voice. Please, do not use any of them as a reference for your auditions.

What I Can Offer:

As a solo developer, my budget is limited, but everyone chosen to voice a character in Project RAZE will:

  • - Be fully credited in the Early Access and the Full Game

  • - Receive one clickable link inside the game’s credits (to your CCC profile, website, or preferred social media)

  • - Have priority for future paid work in expansions, full-game content, and sequels, depending on the role

If selected, you will receive clear scripts, reference direction, and fair timelines for retakes.

Rules for Auditioning:

  • You must be 18+ (for legal and professional reasons)

  • Good microphone quality is required

  • Discord is required if cast, as it will be the main communication platform

    Audio Processing Requirement
Unlike my previous casting calls, raw audio is not required for Project RAZE.
Because many roles in this game involve robotic, synthetic, or heavily processed characters, your audition should already include your intended post-processing.

You will be evaluated primarily on:

    • overall performance,

    • character interpretation, and

    • how well your processing matches the intended vibe of the role.

For roles that require vocal effects, you will be responsible for applying your own processing during production as well, so please ensure your audition reflects the style you are capable of delivering in the final recordings.

Character categories:

Recurring Character — This character appears throughout the full game and is likely to return in future titles. Additional recording sessions will be required as the game expands, and the casting here may carry over into sequels, but continued work is not guaranteed.

Full Game Character — This character continues beyond the Early Access and appears throughout the full release of Project RAZE: Fall of Terra. Additional recording sessions will be required as the game expands.

Early Access Character — This character only appears in the Early Access version. No additional recordings beyond the initial script are expected.

Final Notes:

If you’re not auditioning but would like to support the project, you can wishlist the game on Steam, as it helps tremendously and directly contributes to future casting opportunities and development.

Paid: Flat Rate 25 USD
Role assigned to: Amber Allegrucci

RZ-01 (nicknamed “Raze”) is the main protagonist of the game.

Originally born human, she committed suicide as a teenager and was rebuilt by Terra Supremis scientists into a hyper-advanced combat android.

In the Early Access version, Raze has a strong yet cocky voice. She is overconfident, looks down on everyone except Arden, and keeps her humanity buried deep inside, something that will play a key role in the full game. Her voice should not sound robotic, so please aim for clear auditions with minimal post-processing.

Role Type: Recurring Character
Gender: Female
Voice Age: Adult (25-30)
Lines (Early Access): ~150
Voice Filters: None (clean voice only)

  • [Booting up / Confident] Good morning to you too, Arden. Let’s get this show on the road.

Arden is the sentient AI that runs Raze’s entire space station. He has no physical body; the station itself is his body. Arden serves as a mentor, caretaker, and father figure to Raze.

His voice should be calm, warm, and intelligent. An older-sounding presence who genuinely cares for Raze’s well-being. He does not have a robotic voice, but he is always heard through the station’s speakers, so feel free to lean into echoey, speaker-like effects.

Role Type: Recurring Character
Gender: Male
Voice Age: Middle-Aged

Voice Filters: Light speaker/echo effect only (no heavy robotic processing)

  • [In a good mood / uplifting ] Good morning, Raze. We’ve got a long day ahead of us.

  • [During training / dry humor] Your aim is off by two degrees. I’m not judging… but the wall behind the target certainly is.

  • [During combat / worried] Your shields are failing Raze, be careful!
