Role assigned to: Eric D

Mr. Nally is a ghoul living in Fourville. On the day of the nuclear war he had a place in Vault 4 and travelled there with his son and infant grandson. When he discovered that his family would be unable to join him, he agreed to give up his place in the vault so his son and grandson could be safe. He agreed to wait for them for the twenty-year period that the vault was scheduled to be closed. During the time he was waiting he became afflicted with radiation poisoning and turning into a ghoul, extending his lifespan. Two-hundred years after the bombs the vault has not yet opened and Mr. Nally continues to wait. He fills his time by telling stories to the local children, inspired by his own life. As a ghoul, he has a gravelly voice, but he is now old and weak. Mr. Nally has approximately 145 lines.

Line 01 context: Nally introduces himself to the player.

Line 02 context: Nally privately confides in the player that he finds being a ghoul difficult.

Line 03 context: Nally meets the Overseer of Vault 4, who is a descendent of his son. This is a dream come true.

  • Look here, children. A new visitor here for story time! Would you like to join us, stranger?

  • I won't lie to you: it's difficult. Sometimes, I struggle to remember what it was like... before. I've been a ghoul for most of my life, you see.

  • Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me.

I strayed a little from the typical generic ghoul voice since I figured you were after something different with this one. If that's not what you're after, I'm open to suggestions.

I like the audition, but could you redo it with -marginally- more ghoulishness? I thought the last line was the ideal amount, but some of the earlier ones weren't quite enough.

Will do! Probably later tonight when I've got my VA setup... set up.
