Project Overview
"Your Turn to Die is a horror/puzzle/adventure game created by Nankidai. Translated by Vgperson, the unofficial English translation was released on May 31st, 2019. Currently, the game is incomplete and reaches up to Chapter 2 - Part Two, and has been periodically updated by the creator since 8/28/2017. You play as the protagonist Sara Chidouin, a high schooler wrapped up in a Death game along with 10 other people. Everyone trapped within the game has been mysteriously kidnapped, and are forced to participate in numerous puzzles and activities to prove their worth and save their own lives. Hello, hello! This is not my first rodeo for making a casting call! This time around is the RPG game 'Your Turn to Die'
As you've read above, this is a horror/puzzle/adventure game, so there will be a lot of emotion in this! We will be dubbing
Chapter 1 part 1, Chapter 1 part 2 - Chapter 2 part one and Chapter 2 part 2! So please do wow me
with your auditions!
Requirements:
1). Please please please, play the entirety of YTTD before auditioning! If you plan on not being spoiled move on to something else / play the
game for yourself first. I want people who know what they're doing to audition pretty please!
2). Have a quality mic, please have little to no background noise! I want this to sound as polished as possible for people to enjoy the
Death Game in full.
3). Give all the emotions you can give! Screaming will be something you will have to be comfortable with doing, if you get embarrassed / in an environment where you can't scream - please don't audition! You will not get the part. If your character is crying, CRY show me your best cry you've ever criiiieeed!
4). Have a Discord account, you will be linked to a YTTD server if you've gotten the part. That's the best way me and you can communicate.
5). Please be a fluent English speaker, if your first language isn't English, or if you're learning English currently and your speech is broken and hard to understand..you also have a very low chance of being cast! (if you're fluent in English this doesn't apply to you!)

Sara is a very focused, intelligent, trusting, and kind person. At the start of the Death Game, she becomes a trusted leader figure for her confidence and ability to take responsibility for gaining information and clues to solve each of the puzzles.
(introducing) "Joe Tazuna, or rather Joe. My classmate at school, we often found ourselves together."
(thinking to herself) "I've rarely ever walked home at this hour... It feels really dark."(let out a panicked, frightened scream - imagine you've stumbled upon a dead body, something that

Joe is an extremely upbeat, excitable, considerate and loyal person. He is easily embarrassed when others misinterpret him and is sensitive to how people perceive his appearance. Like Sara, Joe puts in all his efforts to help the group succeed in the puzzles. He consistently convinces the group to believe in Sara and her abilities and generally places most of his trust to her. It is shown in-game that Joe is an optimist and likes to try to find the good in everything that the group encounters. Joe dislikes having his friends worry over him and will always put the people he loves and cares about above all else.
(teasing) "You stuck around this late for clubs?! I was gonna wither up from waiting!"
(speaking now, upbeat) "Well, it's fine! Listen! There's something I wanna tell you. My thanks! Oh you know! You introduced us, right?! Me and Ryoko! She's such a good girl, I'm moved!"

Keiji is shown to be very quick to trust Sara once meeting her in the Death Game. Often referring to himself as the "friendly policeman" throughout the game, he generally is kind and helpful towards the others, but can act cold and harsh towards those who he suspects. He's occasionally perceived by others to be hiding something, due to his unwillingness to talk about his past. Keiji also possesses the ability to easily read the emotions of others, and can see through those who may lie or conceal something from him.
(speaking normally) "Hey, get up. Helllooooo? You can't sit there stupefied forever, miss."
(speaking continues) "Now hold on a second! We should confirm what each of us knows."
(intrigued, interested) "Joe and Sara eh? ...You two are friends? Thanks for that, Joe wasn't speaking up,
see... Must've been wary of something, wouldn't even tell me his name."(announcing) "Alright, everybody, listen up. I bet we're all thinking the same thing. What is this place, why was I brought here? And about all you know is who you are. How about we give introductions? Should ease the suspicions a little, at least.

Being a little odd, Mishima often puffs mad scientist laughs after sentences, and his emotions often conflict with his appearance. Mishima seems to enjoy acting strange to amuse others, behaving cryptic and overly analytical of everyones actions. His unusual social quirks aside, Mishima makes it clear he has no ill intentions and frequently reminds others to be safe and cautious.
(intrigued) "Stupendous! A level-headed child who does as his parents teach him! Yet this
is indeed an emergency, hmm... Then we must prove us adults are not suspicious characters...
Mwahahaha.."(remembering) "Hrrrmmm... I don't recall earning anyone's ire.. Of course, surely there have been
times I've been disliked by students.. but."(shaking it off) "No, no student would cause such a incident. So I'd like to believe.."

Nao is an upbeat, quirky, loyal and motivated girl. Easily frightened, Nao can become frantic over stress-inducing situations. Her sometimes overwhelming panic can be quelled by her own force, but only if a person she cares about is in more danger than herself. It is stated that she doesn't appear to have many friends, but has a long association with most she does have, meaning Nao values her relationships. She has a deep attachment to her mentor Mishima and often relies on him to get her through difficult times. Mishima also provided Nao with brushes, something she holds dear to her along with her artworks.

Q-Taro finds it very difficult to trust those around him, as he believes more in evidence of peoples characters rather than speculation. His restrictive trust exists because Q-Taro hopes that he's able to protect everyone from any dangers that the Death Game may present to them. He's very truthful and is more of a logical thinking person rather than thinking with his emotions.
(upbeat, introducing) "Yeah I'm a ballplayer, but if ya work out too much and hurt

Gin tries to remain positive and optimistic in the situation that he has found himself and the other participants in. He shows that he trusts others easily and believes in most of the people that he meets. It's very rare to see Gin looking down or sad. He is very clingy and gets attached to those he meets and gives them nicknames.
(questioning) "Myeow so? Mom tells me not to give personal info to strange guys I don't know, woof!"
(kind of being a brat) "Once you get home, go find a job, meow!"

Sou is a complex character with many facets to his personality. To a majority of the group, Sou behaves as an incredibly helpful, generous and knowledgeable figure, and plays a heavy hand in contributing to the group's advancement. However, when speaking to Sara alone, Sou reveals a more threatening, violent side to him as he stresses his disdain and distrust for her.
(complimenting) "Miss Sara, you seem steadfast and strong, I'm jealous."
(speaking) "Some days I feel that I don't show enough gratitude to my parents, but.. they just
spoil me so much... Man... I've gotta become independent already. Uh, sorry.. I can't remember anything

Kai has an aloof nature, often quiet, even during intense discussions and accusations. Because of his quiet nature, he isn't considered to be much of a person of interest to the group. Though like the others, he makes it apparent that he wishes to try his best to contribute to their advancement, even if his withdrawn demeanor and weird aura puts Sara at unease.
(investigating) "It would appear this is a doll. The head has a weighty feel, when I shake I hear this..
sloshing sound. Perhaps the kidnapper's aim is to have us stick a straw in here for hydration
when we find ourselves thirsty."(speaking) "And yet, it appears you are very trusting of miss Sara... If I may offer my interpretation.. Perhaps
it's because Sara and Joe are acquainted? Because those two can vouch for each other, you concluded they

Reko seems intimidating and assertive, but is in general a friendly person. She seems to act kinder to those who may be seen as "weak"; this is shown when Reko immediately comforts Kanna Kizuchi when hearing about her sister and treats her more gently. Reko is prone to losing her cool at times, and finds it difficult not to panic in certain situations.
(speaking) "Just like the gaudy guy said, my band's made enough of a name to get into magazines.
We'd finally made it to the starting line. The whole future stretched ahead of us..."(upset, aggressive) "Goddamn kidnapper! If you threw out my stuff, I'm gonna beat your ass so hard..!"

In-game, Kanna is shown to be a person that resembles "a little sister". She can be dependent and often relies on other people to help her out, due to the fact that she often believes that she is incapable of helping herself or others. Kanna is shown to be easily upset, and is one of the most vulnerable and unstable of the group.

(on the verge of tears) "Ah... thank you very much."

Alice has a short fuse and is one of the few participants that has little trust for the rest of the group. Because of his attitude in that no one can be trusted, he tends to go off on his own and often pushes others away when they wish to work or talk with him. He is quite aggressive in the way he speaks, but with enough persuasion and trust he can be kind and helpful.
(speaking) "You all... plus this "Nao" makes everyone, right?"
(cocky, yet threatening) "...Remove these ropes, so long as you don't want me to crush you."(frightened) "Hm...? You.. Eee... EYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHH!! Why is SHE walking around freely?! Hurry, hurry! Somebody capture her! I know, oh yes I do! This girl is bad news!"

Although Miley is called "The Laughing Doll", she isn't as friendly as her name seems to hint at. She enjoys seeing the participants in the death game suffer, and even goes as far to torment them by crushing their hopes. She finds amusement in their despair as the cast start questioning their chances of survival.
(menacingly) "Eheehee... Everyone... how are you feeling? This is a pre-recorded video, so I'm afraid I can't answer any questions. Allow me to thank you, truly, for taking part of the Main Game."
(announcing) "Eheehee. Now everyone, enjoy yourselves as I check your answers! First, the Sage! You were right on everyone, it was Kai Satou! Next, the Keymaster, Eheehee, the fierce battle between you two was a true sight to see! Amazing! It was Sara Chidouin! Aaand! The Sacrifice! The one who dies with objective incomplete isss...
