Project Overview

Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority- is a multi-ending horror adventure game.

Your decision will directly affect the story and final outcome!

Story

Sara Chidouin returns home from school late one night to discover that something's gone terribly wrong.

When she comes to, she finds herself, her friend Joe, and 9 other people trapped in a mysterious place.

Placed in life-and-death situations, they must come to an agreement about what they should do - and who should die.

This casting is for a fandub of the visual novel. The final will be uploaded as a series of Youtube videos. This initial casting just covers Chapter One, but will be expanded later if the project is a success.

Audition Instructions [PLEASE READ THESE THANK YOU]

When submitting your audition, please include your discord (As that will be how I reach you), age, experience, timezone, and your setup information. It's totally fine if this is just your phone, but I'd like to know ahead of time so I know what we're working with.

Please submit your takes in ABCABC format. I would like at least two, but no more than three of each line.

I prefer to work with those over 18, especially due to the subject matter and the parasocial nature of this community, however, I will not restrict this project entirely, just know that it's unlikely that I will cast minors.

That being said, experiment, branch out, and have fun! I look forward to hearing your auditions!

  • Second Round Shortlisting & First Round Casting

    Hey y'all!

    Later today and into tomorrow, I'm gonna start working on shortlisting again and giving notes like before. This time, though, I have a few roles with actors my heart is set on, so I'm going to begin the casting process. There are a lot of factors going into these decisions. I'm grateful for all of you who audition! If you aren't selected for one of the first pass roles, please don't feel discouraged. You're welcome to try for other roles if you haven't already and I wish you the absolute best on other projects as well.

    With all that out of the way, I'm excited to work with you guys and will keep you posted as I get to tidying up.

  • First Pass Complete!

    Alrighty folks!

    I just finished my first skim through. I did my best to give everyone some personalized notes about what I heard and what I'm looking for. If you would like to do retakes of your auditions, you are more than welcome to. These notes aren't meant to be a criticism of any kind, just little bits that I hope are helpful.

  • First pass on Monday

    Sometime on monday, I'll be going through the auditions and tidying up the inbox. I still won't be casting yet. Feel free to tidy up and retake your submissions with the notes I'll be giving.

    Just as a note, submissions lacking the requested information are likely first on the chopping block, so if you do decide to take my notes into consideration and retake your auditions, please include them! This communication is important to the process and I need to have it in your audition.

Sue Miley - The Laughing Doll

We're going to use the (Guh - in) pronunciation.

Gin tries to remain positive and optimistic despite the situation. While he warms up to people easily, he can occasionally be sarcastic or blunt to them. Gin is rarely melancholy. He has a habit of ending sentences with "meow" or "woof." For the "meow" and "woof" fills, I'm not looking for them to sound like conscious choices Gin is making. They should feel more like ticks or habits, like they pop up without him noticing.

Reko is a 23 year old singer-songwriter. Reko seems intimidating, assertive, and "rough around the edges." However, she's generally friendly and takes on a sisterly role for those younger than her. She seems to act kinder to those who may be seen as "weak."

I am looking for someone willing to lean into the "Small dog syndrome." Alice's aggression should feel like it's not from a place of authority, but insecurity.
