Project Overview
This is episode 2 of the Rocket League anime. The explainer video is the first episode, you need to watch it if you want to audition. There are lots of reasons why I want you to watch the first video before auditioning, but mainly it's so you understand what your getting into, and the production quality. You do not have to know Rocket League very well to be a voice actor/actress but you should be comfortable with Japanese. Even minor roles are important because it puts your foot in the door. Yui: So the beast manages to make a valid point. Yes, the Champion Exams. Takumi Shiro.. He managed to defeat 8 teams, before coming up against that last team. A team of nobodies on the surface, but I sense something deeper.

This is a reoccurring character, so if you are cast it is very important you can do future projects. This character's role is more minor in this episode therefore the money is only 45, versus getting up to 70 with more involvement.

This is a reoccurring character, so if you are cast it is very important that you can play this role again in the future. Keep that in mind if you choose to audition. This character does not have a specific gender YET. It will be completely dependant on who I decided gets the role.
Also for this episode this character has a more minor role so it's only 40, but for more involvement in the future this character could get up to 60.
Fast paced, hates being patient, doesn’t see the other races/cars as lesser, only cares about being the fastest. And getting better the fastest.

Hello! This is the audition for the narrator. We had a narrator in the first episode so if you want a guideline on how to sound please watch the first episode! Right after the anime intro is the narrator sequence. Please stay as close to this voice as possible. Epsiode is linked in the project.
Narrator: With the new Champion rank in toe, Hoshi, Kaito, and Itonashi continue their adventure to the top. After the events of the exam, the Octane Triad took notice of the team who managed to defeat Takumi.
ナレーター：新しいチャンピオンランクでほし、かいと、いとなしはトップへの冒険を続けます。試験が終わった後、オクタントトリオはたくみを倒したチームがいることに気づきました。
Narētā: Atarashī champion rankude hoshi, kai to, ito nashi wa toppu e no bōken o tsudzukemasu. Shiken ga owatta nochi, okutantotorio wa Takumi o taoshita chīmu ga iru koto ni kizukimashita.
Narrator: Later that day at the Forbidden temple practice fields.
ナレーター：数日後、禁じられた寺での練習にて
Narētā: Sūjitsugo, kinji rareta tera de no renshū nite
Narrator: And so our 3 heroes trained with Kochi. Each of them working on figuring out how to awaken their spirit style. The power to use the opposite of one’s playstyle. But they did not forget to train their fundamental mechanics either. 6 weeks have passed since the champion exams, and with 1 month of training under their belt, our heroes begin to climb once again.
ナレーター：こちと訓練した3人のヒーロー。彼らのスピリチュアルスタイルを目覚めさせる方法を考え出すことに取り組んでいます。自分のプレイスタイルの反対の力。しかし、彼らは基本的なメカニズムを訓練することも忘れませんでした。チャンピオン試験から6週間が経過し、1か月のトレーニングを経て、ヒーローたちは再び登り始めます。
Narētā: Kochi to kunren shita 3-ri no hīrō. Karera no supirichuarusutairu o mezame saseru hōhō o kangaedasu koto ni torikunde imasu. Jibun no pureisutairu no hantai no chikara. This role is crucially important, unfortunately for me, I have to recast Itonashi for the 2nd episode. SO what that means is you have the ability to watch the first episode and get an idea of Itonashi as a character. I don't expect you to sound exactly like the voice actor from before, but I do expect that same energy. Moreover, I need someone I can trust. I cannot continue to recast the main characters, this needs to have some continuity and that's important to me as a director. If you are flaky or think you might be too busy to record your lines or be involved here and there with these projects, do not apply. The last bit of advice these lines have a context to them, so skim through episode 2's script so you can understand what tone you need.
1.いとなし：ほし…行こう。目を覚ますんだ。僕らにできたことじゃない。悪く思うさ…でも進まなきゃ。
Itonashi: Hoshi… ikou. Mewosamasu nda. Bokura ni dekita koto janai. Waruku omou-sa…de mo susumanakya.
2.いとなし：戻ってきてくれて嬉しいよ！これでいいな？こちはお前に会えるのを楽しみにしてるよ！
Itonashi: Modotte kite kurete ureshī yo! Kore de ī na? Ko chi wa omae ni aeru no o tanoshimini shi teru yo!
3.いとなし；いや。これが重要だ海斗。5秒でさえゲームがひっくり返るぞ。もし相手が油断していたら。
Itonashi: iya. Kore ga jūyōda gaito. 5-Byōde sae gēmu ga hikkurikaeru zo. Moshi aite ga yudan shite itara.
4.まだ使いこなせていないだろ..どうやってやれって？
Itonashi: Mada tsukaikonasete inaidaro.. Dō yatte yare tte?
