HELLO and welcome beautiful and talented VA's!! This is Grimlord, a dark fantasy VR action-RPG with a focus on a narrative driven story, physics interactions and character development. This game is heavily inspired by the Soulsborne universe, and we need YOUR HELP in capturing the dark, desolate, depressing setting and atmosphere of a true dark fantasy world. Set in the Lonely Mountains, the character sets off with nothing but their soul in tact to overthrow the tyrannical Grimlord who has enslaved the land and imprisoned the former Lords in bondage in a lone Monastery. Players will craft their own weapons and armor, engage with dialogue driven NPC's, customize talent and perk trees to their own combat styles and discover hidden rooms and uncover secret treasures! We need professional voice actors capable of unique caricatures to help bring this dark fantasy world to life! We humbly ask you, the professional VA to be capable of remote work, have professional, studio-grade quality equipment, an ability to convert any recordings to the necessary formats (.mp3 and .wav primarily) and a passion for the characters you are embodying! Discord is recommended, but not required. Don't be afraid to do multiple takes of the same lines or even in completely different voices! Be creative! We're looking for the most passionate and talented VA's to help bring our game to life! VA's applying should be passionate, have good range, and be capable of being expressive when they need to be. They should be capable of understanding direction and taking criticism positively and be able to adapt to the situation as it is called for. They should have their own equipment and be capable and motivated enough to produce high quality, professional-grade voice lines. VA's auditioning should ideally be looking for long-term work or a long-term commitment to voicing their character through to the end of game development. We understand Grimlord is ambitious and unlike any VR game that has been made yet, but that is why we need your help! Help us bring this incredible world to life and memorialize yourself in a video game forever! All auditions should be sure to leave their email address, Discord# or any other pertinent information they deem relevant to us getting into contact with them. If anyone has any questions or concerns at any point, be sure to DM the OP (Gramsy) with any inquiries you may have! We will be reviewing every single audition and going through them thoroughly. Those not chosen should not expect any type of followup. Though we would love to take the time to give every single person a review and inform them on what to improve on, we simply don't have the time to do so. We apologize for this but our resources are limited. If you are chosen, we will be contacting you directly with the information you provide in your audition description so PLEASE ensure that any information you type there is accurate and up to date so we don't miss you for any reason! With that being said, we wish everyone the best of luck in their auditions, and we absolutely CANNOT WAIT to hear your incredible talent! :)

The Exiled Mage is castaway from the powerful person he once was. Corrupted by his own power, he had performed unspeakable acts and committed heinous crimes, leading to his own exile. Now, old, shriveled, and a shell of a former self, with years to reflect upon his own decisions, he realizes the error of his ways, and attempts to aid the main character to prevent them from making the same mistakes he once made. The Exiled Mage is friendly, polite, and warm-hearted - if a bit goofy or eccentric. He loves magic and knows alot about it, he has a dry sense of humor, and enjoys dad jokes and puns.
