Welcome to both new and returning auditionees! Part 1 of the project is well underway, and now we are starting up Part 2!
SUMMARY (part two):
It's been one year since the Pevensies and Elaine have returned from Narnia. Since then, they have befriended another girl, Eva, who moved into a nearby house shortly after them. Eva quickly has become a close friend, but she also knows that the Pevensies are hiding something from her. Peter and Elaine, who still consider themselves husband and wife, are facing tension in their marriage. While waiting at a train station to take them to boarding school, all of them, including Eva, are whisked back to Narnia. Their excitement soon turns to dread when they discover their old palace in ruins and later learn that 1300 years have passed for the Narnians.
After saving a dwarf named Trumpkin from being drowned, the Dwarf tells them that many years ago, the Telmarines invaded and took over. Their only hope is to find the young Prince Caspian who escaped from the castle on the run from his evil uncle, Miraz, who wants him dead so he can take over the throne.
Meanwhile, Caspian's older sister, Cassia, remains in the castle as a firm supporter of her uncle and his ideology. However, she is thrown for a loop when Narnians she had believed to be extinct turn up, and she believes them responsible for her brother's disappearance.
The Pevensies, Elaine, and Eva soon find Caspian who had called them to Narnia with Susan's horn. Against Caspian's advice, Peter leads a raid on the castle to prevent a battle with the Telmarines. It is during this raid that Caspian and Cassia learn that Miraz murdered their father 18 years ago.
The raid fails, many Narnians are killed, Cassia becomes a prisoner of war...and then Caspian and Eva nearly release an old enemy. Peter, Elaine, Caspian, Eva, and the others must all learn to stop trying to do everything on their own and remember who is really in charge in Narnia before the Telmarines wipe out the Narnians for good.
RULES:
1) I am always willing to be flexible with deadlines as I understand real life has to come first, but I also won't wait around forever and will recast if you prove to be unreliable.
2) The actors cast as Edmund, Eva, and Caspian MUST be in this for the long haul. It usually takes me anywhere from six to nine months to complete an audio drama and in this case I'm doing essentially two. While having two different actors playing the same character in different parts won't be the end of the world, it will overall sound much better if it's the same person.
3) Give me emotion and feeling in your audition! I have always leaned more towards voice actors who exhibit true passion in their voice.
4) Please be open to the idea of accepting a role you did not originally audition for.
5) Minor characters will have the option to audition for roles in Part 3.
6) All minor characters (except for Prunaprismia and Glozelle) and extras will read for multiple characters.
7) In the character descriptions about "Parts needed for", if only "2" is listed, that means the character is only in Part 2, not that the character is in 2 parts.
8) Mic quality will play a huge role in casting decisions. If you receive a better microphone, you will need to submit a new audition rather than just tell me you have one.
9) When I cast roles, I also look at your CCC profile. The style of it (i.e. good grammar, the amount of information you supply, a profile picture) can influence my casting decision.
10) Communication will be done entirely through email, so you must have an email address that you check regularly. I will send cast-wide updates through Discord, so while one is recommended, it is NOT REQUIRED to audition.
