The Chronicles of Narnia Audio Drama (ROUND TWO)
Mistonsa dg for Cassia
Cassia is Caspian's older sister. After her father died when she was five years old, Cassia grew to hate stories of Narnia and Aslan because they had done nothing to save his life. She is a very kind woman, but she also has a very sharp tongue, especially when people question her authority. While she is confident and passionate, she is also easily led astray by her uncle, Miraz, who says all the right things to manipulate her and gain her trust. When Caspian and the Narnians raid the castle in an attempt to prevent a battle, Cassia learns the truth about her father's death: he was killed by his own brother. Devastated and ashamed, Cassia apologizes to her brother for years of arguing with him, then leads the Telmarine soldiers in the wrong direction in order to give him time to get out of the castle. Cassia is thrown into the dungeons by Miraz who confesses that he only ever saw her as a means to an end. He takes her to the battlefield with the intention of killing her in front of her brother, but a Telmarine soldier who is loyal to the Narnians, Drystan, frees her. Cassia runs to the battlefield and saves Caspian's life and then becomes his advisor once he becomes king. She strikes up a quick friendship/mentorship with Eva and a budding romance with the soldier who saved her.

He has remained true to the proper traditions, my lord, for I am not a member of the council. I am, however, your princess, and I shall remind you not to talk as if I am not present.
Forgive me. I have not been the princess that our kingdom needed me to be. That my brother needed me to be.
(soft, through tears) Aslan…I don’t know…if you can hear me. Or if you would listen…to the cries of a Telmarine princess who has rejected you. But I ask for your help and protection now not for me…but for my brother.
