Caspian is a young man who is destined to rule the kingdom, but his life is in danger because his uncle, Miraz, wants the throne for himself.  After Miraz's wife gives birth to a son, Caspian flees the castle into Narnian territory, having to leave his older sister behind, and discovers that all of the stories he had heard growing up are true.  He uses Susan's horn which calls the Pevensies, Elaine, and Eva into Narnia, but when he meets them two days later, he is surprised to find that they are only children.  All of them raid the castle in an attempt to overthrow the Telmarines in one fell swoop and avoid battle, but the plan goes horribly wrong, particularly after Caspian and his sister, Cassia, learn that Miraz killed their father then lied about him dying in his sleep.  Caspian, angry at the failed raid and Peter's poor leadership, nearly releases the White Witch back into Narnia by accident.  Once he realizes his mistake, he starts working together with the others and fights alongside them in the battle against the Telmarines.  After the battle is won, Caspian is crowned king by Aslan and promises to restore peace between the Narnians and Telmarines.
