What is this?
We are looking for VOICE ACTORS!
For our own FANMADE MOTION COMIC based off of Rachel Smythe’s: Lore Olympus.
It is the popular story of Hades and Persephone set as a modern version of ancient Greek Mythology, adopting technology and modern ideologies as a central set piece for the comic. --”What the gods do…after dark. The friendships and the lies, the gossip and the wild parties, and of course, forbidden love. The gods aren’t so different from us after all, especially when it comes to their problems. Stylish and immersive, this is one of mythology’s greatest stories -- The Taking of Persephone -- as it’s never been told before.”
I am a HUGE fan of this comic series- and for a long time now I’ve been wanting too do a MOTION COMIC version! Well we started a while ago finally and are looking to cast some voices to bring it all Together! This particular project is going to be edited and framed in such a way to try and make it as immersive as possible. I have an amazing editor onboard who works with all the sound and music and will be helping me with all decisions and directions related to this project.
So if you are also a fan, (or even if you haven’t heard of it yet) try out! It will be a fun project! Look forward to hearing all the auditions!

This project is for fun! All we are looking for is a team willing to lend their voices for our dub series (that we will be posting on You tube).
A significant level of technical and performance quality is going to be expected.
Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Simultaneously many of these roles have a certain VIBE or certain TYPE of voice we are looking for EACH ONE! Characters who tend to emote HEAVILY- as such most roles will probably involve shouting and even a bit of hamming it up/overacting in some capacity at some time or another so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.
Make sure you are ABLE to commit beforehand please (time wise, investing your character, being timely with turning in recording, group meetings, etc.) Have a good quality mic! Speak loud and clear.
If/Once you are cast for a role. Please be patient while we make sure all roles are casted. We WILL HAVE the 1st episode ready by then (3 webcomic episodes per dubbed episode)—you will have 1 month to record and submit your work, if any edits need to be made We will let you know WITH TIME so you can redo and resend. Please make sure you are available for group meetings where we will practice and go over the direction of the story for THOSE episodes.
**It is not REQUIRED that you know the story, but it is PREFERED that you are familiar with it (this will help you have a better understanding of how your character IS and how they interact with the others)
Casting in Regards to Payment:
As I mentioned above- this project is FREE. We are looking for people to lend their voices to our motion comic dub series.
A few final notes:
1.) I'm a huge fan of this franchise and so are so many individuals out there!
Each role will have the suggested guidance and ideal performance parameters I have in mind for each character, but the beauty of acting is taking the same premise or direction and presenting it with your own unique flair.
3.) Discord IS required, as we utilize it to organize group rehearsals, deliver announcements, and distribute scripts (it's also been an incredibly useful tool for getting to know the people affiliated with the project and we've had a fair bit of fun with it).
4.) PLEASE DO NOT SLATE YOUR AUDITIONS

Persephone/Kore is the goddess of Spring, depicted as a pink young woman. Persephone is stated to be 19 years old. She has emotions in varying levels, this affects her hair growth sometimes by growing or sprouting flowers. She strives to become self-sufficient and maintains a positive, hard-working attitude. While a kind, caring and somewhat naive individual, Persephone also harbors a dark secret that very few know. Persephone is a member of The Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood (TGOEM), a group which upon joining swears an oath of virginity for all eternity. She is also an intern at Underworld Corp working as a Shade Coordinator as stated on her business card.

Hecate is the goddess of magic. She is depicted as a dark blue woman with black hair and neon green cat eyes. She is Hades' assistant and friend, and often serves as a protector to Persephone in the Underworld.

Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and a member of The Goddesses of Eternal Maidenhood. She is Persephone's best friend and roommate, as well as Apollo's sister. Artemis is depicted as a feisty, purple tomboy who looks out for Persephone and is generally ignorant of her brother's bad personality traits.

Hera is the goddess of marriage and family, Queen of the gods, and Zeus' wife, depicted as a petite and golden woman with long, perfectly coiffed hair. She is constantly seen drinking or smoking and is unhappy in her marriage to Zeus. Hera is also a member of the Six Traitors Dynasty.

Tisiphone is the most evil looking of the 3, goes along with alecto when it comes to causing pain and destruction

Megaera-- (Depressed/fit) *SOB* "It should have been me!!! I have proof! facts! Docu-men-tation! 12th of december, 1240pm employee staff room! --HISSSSSS!----He gave me all these signals! and i thought we really had something going on!"
Tisiphone--(laughing/ making fun) "LOOK AT THIS FACE! HE LOOKS LIKE HER DUSTY ASS DAD!"
The fates are assumed to be the three sisters in charge of the flow of time and fates of those in the Mortal Realm.

Daphne is kind and understanding. She has a bubbly personality and gets along well with others. She quickly warms up to strangers and makes them feel comfortable in her presence. Although she appears a bit naive, unaware that Apollo was helping Thanatos to hurt Persephone, she deeply cares about those around her and always has a kind word for those who have been hurt.
(excited to see her friend)
