Voice Actors for Digital Card Game
Project Overview
Introduction
Hello everybody!
Thanks for checking out the posting. We previously posted for some voice actors to voice several characters in our digital collectible card game. Now, we’re looking for some additional voice actors to voice minor, major, and main characters across the game.
Due to the sensitive nature of the project, I can only reveal more information to those who are willing to sign an NDA. For certain roles, we will be bringing you on later during the project to record additional roles.
We’re currently looking for voices for 13 minor roles (3-4 lines each), 6 major roles (6-9 lines each), and 11 main roles (8-10 lines each).
All roles are in the English language. For an idea of how each character should sound specifically, feel free to check out the roles below.
For your wonderful talent, we’re looking to pay $10 per minor role, $20 per major role, and $30 per main role. Payments will be made through PayPal. Again, we will be looking to bring some of you back for future paid work.
DeadlineDeadline for auditions is November 24th. We’ll inform the chosen actors a few days later, and set up a recording session within the week.
What to ExpectCommunication will take place through Discord. If you’re chosen for the part, you’ll be contacted by our writer, who’ll organize a date for a recording session and direct you during the session. As stated before, you must be willing to sign an NDA.
What we need from youAside from your wonderful voices, we do need a few other things.
As this is a professional project, we do require anyone auditioning to have a prosumer mic. Nothing in the thousands of dollars (although if you have that, that’s awesome). As long as there isn’t any background noise and we can hear your voice in crisp quality, there shouldn’t be a problem.
You’ll be directed on the day of the session by our writer. The session shouldn’t take any longer than 15-20 minutes, though please allow a maximum of 1 hour.
During the recording session, we’ll need you to record the lines and export them as a .wav file. No need to add any effects. Just provide us with a clean, unaltered file.
And that’s it! Best of luck to you all, and we can’t wait to hear your auditions!

A Demi God, Illsar Aegno [ILL-SAR EY-GNO] is the one in the shadows. Cunning and calculating, he plays the people of Eria for pawns. He attempts to forge peace through uplifting weak nations and crushing the strong through a vast network of spies, only showing himself when necessary.
Descending from a dark lineage, Illsar’s fury is something to behold. His skill with magic is unparalleled, and as his title implies, he is the sole being to wield the might of dragons. A fearsome opponent, and one who dares to thwart the divines themselves.
[Match victory, just a little bit smug and arrogant] Nothing can stand against the Dragon Lord.
[Beginning of the game, opening line, courteous yet suspicious] I don’t know your intentions but I intend to uncover them in due time.
[Using ability, calling upon great power, unleashing it in rage] Nothing can stand up to this!
A mastermind of a politician, Zyn (pronounced Zin, like Sin) usurped full control of the Dark Elves from his own brother. Eager to see the Dark Elves on top, he tends to avoid direct conflict or brutal violence, instead electing to use subterfuge, deception, and cunning. Yet he’s not above getting his hands dirty if necessary.
[Game start, sizing up his opponent] You’re brave to face me. I’ll reward that with a swift death.
[Using ability, confident and smug] You’ve no chance of overcoming my strategy.
[Match loss, unable to comprehend what just happened] W-what? But my strategy was perfect…
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
A veteran of the War of the Heirs, Sul’rot saw first hand the crushing defeat his people suffered. Although he took the role of Centurion in hopes of guiding the West Orcs through a peaceful age, this changed in the face of the conflicts which threaten to engulf the world, notably the rising violence of the East Orcs. Although reluctant, Sul’rot will do whatever it takes to protect his people, even if that means killing fellow Orcs.
[Game start, polite greeting despite the fact they’re about to beat the crap out of each other] Well met, worthy foe.
[Using ability, rallying and inspiring] Now is the time! COUNTERATTACK!
[Match victory, proud of his forces] You all fought valiantly. I’m honoured to fight alongside you!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
Once a member of the royal family, Oro IV was denied the throne for his imperialistic views. In his anger he forged the Magicians Imperium, a nationalistic, magical organization dedicated to the dominance of humanity. Although Oro IV serves the Kingdom of Humans, he frequently clashes with King Aarvod in regards to humanity’s future.
[Game start, unrelenting in the face of a powerful foe, confident of his chances] You won’t stop humanity. The Magicians Imperium shall rise above all!
[Using ability, unleashing all his might in a blinding display of power] Let me show you the power of a real magician!
[Match victory, smug and happy with his victory] A great day for our people.
Heralding from a group of humans who turned away from the Dark God, Eldor is Tzar to the High Humans. Tall in stature and well versed in magic, they hold a certain respect most humans lack. For decades, Eldor has ruled his people with a wise and just hand, relying on the ties of friendship he has formed. However, the elderly ruler perhaps has too much of a nostalgic view of the past, as the world drifts toward a bitter conflict.
[Game start, treating his opponent as one would an old friend] Surely we could settle this over a pot of tea?
[Using ability, regretful about what needs to be done] I do apologize, but I’m going to take your energy now.
[Match defeat, wounded pride but still honorable] Well fought. You make for a fine champion.
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
In times of old, Orcs served the Dark God. The East Orcs were the few who managed to break free of the Dark God’s hold, turning against the darkness. Yet in recent years, there are those who have demanded a return to their old ways, and Cazit’Gul has led that charge. Tired with their defeats in the war and their willingness to help weaker factions, Cazit’Gul seized power and proclaimed himself Overlord, pushing his nation ever closer to war…
[Game start, eager for battle] Violence. Conflict. Battle. These are the trials by which empires should rise… or fall.
[Using ability, furious that his men are dying] You call yourself a warrior!? STAND UP AND FIGHT!
[Game start, vicious and angry] My hounds will make a meal of your corpse.
A wise ruler, yet one who had suffered beyond her eternal life. From the loss of her child, stolen by Matar, to the deaths of her people, Ava has faced greater challenges than most. Her voice is cold, harsh, and heavy with much regret. She shows disdain to any who once served Matar, especially humans. Yet above all else, she values the future of her people, and nothing will stop her in her quest to protect it.
[Game start, calm and cold] The Elves are nothing if not enduring. You won’t defeat them.
[Using ability, breathing heavily yet unwilling to back down] Alright then, show me everything you’ve got!
[Match defeat, that cold veil fades away] I’ve failed them…
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
The Lucky King, or Unlucky depending on how you look at it. After the death of his father, Aarvod was unexpectedly chosen to become king. Presiding over a fracturing kingdom dealing with violence both within and beyond its borders has taken a toll on Aarvod. He’s become bitter, cynical, and does his nights away with drink and other substances.
[Game start, venomous words from an annoyed king] Come to take my crown, have you?
[Using ability, summoning up whatever royal authority remains within him] BEGONE!
[Match victory, relieved the fighting is done with yet still a bit sarcastic] Another glorious conquest to my name.
The son of the greatest king to grace the Alai, Silas became king when his father fell in battle. At the helm of an expanding, thriving nation, Silas seeks to preserve his father’s brilliance and temper it with his own idealism. Yet despite his friendly nature, he must find it in himself to deal out judgment and justice wherever necessary, for war peeks over the horizon…
[Game start, welcoming but cautious] To step into the viper’s den… I doubt you’re here to share drinks.
[Using ability, fierceness approaching outright anger] I sentence you to death!
[Match defeat, trying to show respect yet disappointed in himself] Well fought… I doubt my father thinks the same of me.
The only one to have ever turned away from becoming a God, Thor sought to forge his own path free of his father’s influence. He fled to the Vikings in secret, forging powerful instruments and using his great abilities to aid them, before revealing his true identity during a demonic assault. Since then, Thor has been a welcome champion, taking to the field with a jolly, boastful attitude. However, best be warned if you harm those he considers friends. He’ll end you in a thought.
[Game start, bragging about who his dad is for once] I am Thor, son of Odin. You’re a future gravestone.
[Using ability, taunting and laughing] I like your servant. Mind if I make a copy?
[Match victory, grinning but unable to resist a dig at his father] Hah! What do you think of me now, Odin?

The Dark God, the Fallen, and the former Godking. Matar waged a brutal war against Eria after his creator rejected him, in an attempt to forge the world in his image. Defeated and imprisoned, he now waits for the day he might escape and finish what he began: The End Times.
Matar is manipulative, cunning, and capable of torment unlike anything you can imagine. Whilst far from the indestructible being he once was, he still stands high above any other Divine. Evil is his very nature, and he will use his dark powers to shatter and remake the world anew.
[Game start, still with that weighty, powerful voice, this time with a hint of a chuckle] The entire might of Eria could not hold me. You will fail, just as they have.
[Using ability, either bow down before your master or die] Bow before the true Godking!
[Match defeat, all that power fades away from his voice, collapsing into one final scream like a dying star] NOOOOOOOOOOO!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
No one knows where Camazotz came from. Elevated to God status by Zeus after the imprisonment of Matar, a first glance would reveal nothing but a mad dog obedient only to its master. Yet if rumors that Camazotz was created by Matar are true, then behind those burning eyes lie a dark cunning, wrapped around a brilliant mind…
[Nearly mad, licking his lips at the battle to combat] Who shall I rip and tear!?
[Facing down an old rival, gleeful at the chance of a rematch] The son of Odin? Daddy’s not here to help you this time!
[Dying, defeated by a fellow divine, furious he can’t match them] Count yourself fortunate… When next we meet, I shall crush you!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
A half of a whole. The being that would become the White One was a half Elf, half Dark Elf. Experimenting with destructive alchemic magics in hopes of obtaining incredible power, he shattered his mind, body, and spirit. The White One is an avenger, protecting the innocent from the forces of evil, all whilst attempting to find his other half…
[Descending from the heavens like a divine warrior, ready to kick ass] The scent of evil drove me here… and I shall drive it away!
[Attacking whilst not at full strength, still gonna protect those who need protecting] Face the light!
[Encountering his other half, disgusted at the sight of him] You… I’ll purge you for good this time.
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
A half of a whole. The being that would become the Dark One was a half Elf, half Dark Elf. Experimenting with destructive alchemic magics in hopes of obtaining incredible power, he shattered his mind, body, and spirit. The Dark One is a force of evil, willing to indulge selfish desires and inflict misery across the lands, all in pursuit of his memories.
[Descending from the heavens, ready to destroy everything in his path] You will give me answers… or you will fall.
[Attacking, not yet at full strength yet still confident] A fraction of my power is enough.
[Dying, just lost to his other half, coming to terms with his true strength] I see… I was always the weak one.
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
The leader of the Seven, a group of Matar’s greatest warriors. Formerly Captain Fumi of the Great Tower, he was among the first humans to break free of Matar’s grip. After his capture at the hands of Matar, Fumi refused to serve the Dark God again. Yet slowly but surely, his resolve faltered, and Fumi became the most powerful of Matar’s servants.
One of Seven is monstrously powerful, to the point where Matar sealed his abilities away. Only in the heat of battle, through a tribute of blood, can One of Seven unlock his full power. Cast in dark armor wrapped in chains and wielding a blade of red and white, there is no mistaking his presence… and no escaping from the fate that awaits you.
One of Seven speaks in a dark voice, yet one that is dedicated and driven. Even in the shadows, One of Seven will never falter from his mission.
[Arriving on the battlefield, announcing his presence, like he’s reading a poem] One of standing…
[Arriving in the presence of his master, ready to carry out his will] What is thy bidding, my master?
[Ability activating, the last seal is broken, filled with incredible strength] FACE THE WRATH OF MATAR [MAH-TAR]!
One of the Seven, a group of Matar’s greatest warriors. Once an Orc Battlemaster, Three of Seven withstood months of torture, refusing to serve Matar. Yet when his allies turned on him, his will shattered at last, and he became the puppet of the Dark God.
Don’t allow the white cloak to fool you. If you spy his limping leg, and hear his pained whispers, flee. Three of Seven delivers unimaginable agony to his foes, in an effort to avenge the damage his body, mind, and spirit all endured.
Three of Seven speaks in a pained, broken whisper. Nearly emotionless, yet we feel the pain behind his words.
[Arriving on the battlefield, announcing his presence, like he’s reading a poem] Three of breaking…
[Arriving on the battlefield in the presence of his glorious master, very strained loyalty here] Master… I am here to serve.
[Attacking, experiencing flashes of his past, confused and hurting] No… let me take their place.
One of the Seven, a group of Matar’s greatest warriors. A Dark Elf called Valtir who sought to scheme and trick Matar in an attempt to gain great power, he found himself facing down the Dark God after the latter discovered his deception. Matar wished to reward the being for having tricked one such as himself, yet first he had to punish him.
He cast the Dark Elf into his arenas, and pit him against terrifying beasts and awful abominations. Each time Valtir would fall, nearly collapse into death, only to be ripped back by the Dark God. Eventually, Valtir grew in strength, and struck down all who came against him. He was rewarded with a place in the Seven, where he swore unending allegiance to Matar.
Now, he serves as a spy and an executioner. Infiltrating the ranks of Matar’s foes, learning their secrets, and then tossing them upon the executioner’s block. Whilst he keeps a calm, quiet voice like the others, this resolve breaks in the presence of Matar, whom he worships for fear of further punishment.
[Arriving on the battlefield, announcing his presence, like he’s reading a poem] Four of cunning…
[Arriving on the battlefield in the presence of the great and mighty Matar, nervous and fearful] M-master! S-so good to see you!
[Ability activated, drained of his power, annoyed at those nearby] Begone! I work best alone.
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
The finest leader the Vikings have ever seen, Sigurd is at times a fine politician, and an even finer warrior. Laughing and jesting with his allies, and bloodlusting in the face of his enemies. However, his narrow mindedness has seen the death of many Vikings, and he lives with many failures weighing heavily upon him.
[Arriving on the battlefield. Confident, ready to fight] VIKINGS! TO GLORY!
[Ability use. Someone just tried to kill him, and it didn’t work, and now he’s about to paint the walls with them.] Thor flows within me!
Descending from the Magicians Imperium, Xard sought to bolster the might of the fledgling Kingdom of Humans. Once a pleasant fellow, the years of dealing with dangerous magics have taken a toll on mind and spirit. Impatient, snappy, and annoyed at the lack of respect he rightfully deserves, Xard is hardly the most pleasant individual… but his talent more than makes up for it.
[Pretty annoyed. He’s just been pulled away from his work.] What!? I’m busy!
[Using ability. Giddy he’s getting to unleash his power.] Behold, the fruits of my labor!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
Once the servant of Matar the Dark God, Tulroth has remained beneath Eria since his master’s defeat. Powerful, lusting of violence, and utterly loyal to his master’s name, he now finds himself with a chance to destroy those who imprisoned Matar…
[Summoned to the field, ready to wipe the floor with whatever punk dared to challenge him]I SHALL BATHE THIS WORLD IN FLAME ANEW!
[Summoned to the field by his master, so very happy] Master! I live to serve you!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
Born from a Human and Viking, this magician showed an aptitude for magic at a young age. Upon turning eighteen, they joined the Magician’s Imperium, casting aside their name and titles to pursue their magical greatness. Proud yet arrogant, this magician has proven to be a true master of their craft.
[Summoned, arrives in a great blast of thunder, dramatic voice] You’re nothing compared to me!
[Using ability, delighting in calling down great storms of thunder] BEHOLD MY POWER!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
To face down a dragon is a feat worthy of note, yet to venture to their former home and survive the journey is something else. Ignis was once a man despondent and broken. Plagued by night terrors and taunted for his skittish nature, he was driven to Dragon Tail Island, a place of ash and soot and death. Yet here he found his true calling, faced down ancient horrors, and was rebirthed in flame.
Would be great to have someone with a smokey, raspy voice for this character.
[Arrival, cackling] The dragon’s flame burns within me!
[Defeated, unable to believe his powers failed him] Don’t let the flame die out!
Graduating from the prestigious Az’Gon Academy, Alas established a name for himself after harrying and defeating pirates who’d harassed the port of Rhonmur. Promoted to Fleet Admiral after the sudden death of his predecessor, Alas mounted a desperate defence against Viking invaders, proving pivotal in driving them back. Proud to be a human, and proud to protect his land.
Bonus points if you’re British for this role.
[Arrival on the battlefield, loud voice, ready for battle] Hard to port! Enemies ahead.
[Using ability, authoritative, commanding] Form up!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
A veteran of the War of the Heirs, this soldier has fought against all manner of beings. Endless conflict hasn’t shattered his resolve yet, and he’ll keep fighting as long as it takes.
[Arriving on the field, ready to face down another foe] Another battle… You haven’t bested me yet!
[Attacking, rushing headlong into conflict yet not at all concerned] FOR GLORY!
Note: This role does not feature any written dialogue, only grunts, snarls, and other such sound effects
A servant of Nexon, the Man-Eater walks the line between life and undeath. Unable to find solace in this half life, they’ve been driven to a state of madness, now driven only by an urge to consume the flesh of others.
[Summoned, a mix of agitated grunts and snarls]
[Using ability, hungering growls and lip licking]
Serving an elite group of warriors, the Black Forest Guard defends the Black Island forests from the most monstrous of beings. Imbued with great skill and strength, their life is tied to the very trees they protect, and can return from even the most mortal of blows.
[Arrival, annoyed at some trespassers who are clearly here to stir up trouble] Begone from this place.
[Deathrattle, using ability, straight up refusing to die] So long as the forest’s magic sustains me, I cannot die!
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
A poor victim, driven into insanity by some dark magic. Although strengthened with this unholy power, his body threatens to rip and tear apart, barely held together by the will of a dying man…
[Arrival, not of sound mind, ready to strike at anything] You! You did this to me!
[Attacking, ready to utterly smash the person in his way] I’LL CRUSH YOU!
Once the pride of the East Orcs, the Shamans were touched by the Goddess of Destiny Edea. Her power gifted them the Sight, allowing them to peer into the future. Once praised for their sage advice, false prophecies and an urging to return to more violent times drove many of the peaceful Shamans from their tribe
[Almost surprised yet happy to be played all the same] You come seeking wisdom?
[At peace, glad to be done with this violence] Edea [EH-DIE-AH] calls…
Please note: This role has lines that will be shouted.
Warriors trained by Warlord Cazit’Gul himself, Marauders loose themselves in trances of violence and blood. Powered by maddening fury, they work best alone, cutting a bloody path through enemies lines.
[Summoned to the field, eyeing up his opponents] Let us fight!
[Attacking, ready to cut someone down in the name of his glorious Warlord] FOR THE WARLORD!
The watchers of Riktu’r, and the protectors of the West. These stone forms hold the souls of fallen orc warriors. Champions struck down in battle, yet willing to defend their homes one final time.
[Surprised to be back, soon turns to pride] One final battle? Very well.
[Attacking, proud yet fierce] Begone from these lands!
