Centrus Station North - AN ANIMATED CROSSOVER SERIES

Project Overview

After many years of development, I can finally unveil the casting call of my big project that will be uploaded to Newgrounds (YouTube is to be determined at a much later date)

Centrus Station North:

A Kingdom Hearts inspired crossover series full of Cartoon Network, Nintendo and Capcom characters

I have been drawing concept art and building the world this project takes place in and I feel I'm ready to present it to the public in hopes of getting people on board

I have written all episodes scripts and 8/13 episodes have been fully storyboarded

The last five episodes will be storyboarded as auditions are submitted and all other production assets will be organised

I do plan on making this an on-going series as I have many other scripts and stories currently being scripted, I do hope those who are casted will be able to reprise their roles in future - though if for some reason you can't just let me know

For this project I need voice actors, animators who are fluent in using Toon Boom Harmony Essentials at least as well as any storyboard artists

For Voice Actors; I would prefer the impressions of many of the characters (who have an established and consistent voice in canon) to be as accurate as possible, I'll try not to pile on too much pressure, just know resubmissions are allowed as many times as you'd like up until the casting calls deadline.

While this project is not too NSFW; Due to the type of humour that will be present in the show, Anyone who's under 18 years old will be rejected

  • Centrus Station North PILOT Casting

    Ladies and Gentleman

    I'm happy to announce that casting for Centrus Station North's pilot episode "Pursuit in the Station" has been finalised

    Production will be starting around the beginning of 2025, all actors will recieve their respective scripts and I will be setting up the ground work for the animatic

    The first act of the episode will be uploaded and linked in the casting call, with the other two in tow, either in animated or animatic form, I haven't decided yet

    But once the whole cartoon is finished it will be uploaded in full to Newgrounds

    I want to give all the people who auditioned a hearty thank you for participating and taking interest in this absurd little project, I promise I will continue to cook, keep in mind though I've still got other projects on backlog that are thankfully not as big as this, so as soon as they're complete all focus will be towards this project

    As such all the first twelve roles are no longer available but there are plenty after that if you all are interested

  • Two Weeks Until Pilot Casting - Pre-Casting being done

    We have 14 days until casting for the pilot episode is finalised, I have listened to all your auditions and have been listing all actors and their parts.

    I won't elaborate on details but I want to make clear, as of writing this update nothing has been finalised and I'm still seeking out other talent

    I'm just pre-casting at the moment, meaning I'm putting down some of you who have auditioned for certain roles but the decision will be subject to change

    Everything after the pilot will be finalised on the 28th of February (and failing that 28th of April), and hopefully I'll have the ball rolling on production, even have the animatic ready

    Til then I'll be seeing you all on the 28th of December with the final castings for the pilot

  • A bit of a Change of Plan

    Alot of you may have noticed I've closed a few of the roles on this Casting Call

    Before I explain why allow me to put my cards on the table and state this is my first proper casting call, for project this expansive and I realised I was trying to leap further than capable

    After getting some advice from a veteran voice actor, I felt it would be more beneficial for me and everyone involved with the project if I only casted for the pilot episode of the project and get that produced all while setting the groundwork for the next two batches in the bakers dozen of episodes planned

    To the people who auditioned for the closed roles, your auditions still matter and are very much appreciated but casting won't be finalised until the episodes the characters appear in demand my attention, you're more than welcome to audition for other roles that are open

    While the deadline is still set to the end of February, depending on how this new system goes casting will be decided the end of December probably, but we'll see

    Thank you all for your patience and I apologise for any confusion or inconvenience brought on by my inexperience

    (NOTE: Even though the tabs may say "cast offsite", the roles have in fact NOT been casted yet, they're just temporarily closed until the pilot has been sorted)
