Mercenary Maximum - Original - Pilot Episode
Project Overview

This is an original series. Story and script written by me. It will be an episodic podcast, initially distributed on YouTube.
Looking for Voice Actors for the Pilot episode. Only sign up for this, if you're willing to do more episodes, as consistency is key.
There will be no payment for this project in its current state. Once the channel gets some steam (same channel where my Star Wars Project will be released to), then the plan is to monetize this original series on the channel. At that stage, we can then discuss payment for subsequent episodes/compensation. For now, I ask of you do do this, if you're into Voice Acting as a hobby, or looking to get experience under your belt.
SETTING/THEME:
Medieval/Fantasy
SYNOPSIS OF THE STORY:
Maximum is a farm boy who grew up in a small village. After his parents are mysteriously found dead one night on their land, Maximum finds himself having to take care of himself and his little sister, Myra. A year passes and they're barely scraping by, unable to keep the farm going on his own. In order to make money, he decides to become a mercenary, something which he knows nothing about. But what Maximum really wants, is to just get away, escape all the memories and discover the world.

-He's the protagonist. A young guy, about 16-early twenties, who's haunted by his past. He's the calm, but determined type.
-For his voice, think of kinda like Noxus from FFXV. He needs to sound young with a bit of a hoarse, emo'ish kind of voice, if that makes sense.
[Sad('ish):] “I won’t be gone for long… I just need to find some jobs, get things going and then I’ll come back for Myra. I just need you to take care of her until then, please.”
[In the middle of a fight, desperate:] “There’s still three of them. I can’t hold ‘em off… I don’t know what to do, Sky… This… This may be it… I’m so sorry I got you involved in this…”
Emotional and vengeful: “I DO KNOW! I know! And I know that if I ever see him again, I would cut him down. I would let him bleed on the ground as I stand over him. I would have him say my name. I want him to call out to me for help. And I would just stand there, smiling at him as I stare at him while he dies!”

The town blacksmith. He makes the sword that the protagonist will take on his adventure. I prefer him to have a low, raw kind of voice.
“Of course it’s heavy boy! It’s a broadsword! C’mon, I’ll sharpen it for ya, put some leather on that handle. What kind of leather ya want? I’ve got brown, light brown…. Might even got some nice black leather lying around”
“If it were mine, I’d choose a nice, elegant black. Cut down some orcs in style, ya know ‘I mean?”
“Yeah yeah… now scram kid, I got work to do!”

Dorian's the kind of person that sort of bullies Maximum, because he wants to be his friend, but he's too proud to come out and say it, so his excuse to be around him is to just bully him. He is tall for his age (about the same age as Maximum) and strong looking. He and Maximum will become friends after Dorian comes out of no where and saves him (not in the pilot episode).
“Hey Maximum, where do you think YOU’RE going?! HEY!”
“So, you really think you’re going to be a mercenary, huh? You can’t even lift that sword!”
"Sky, why do you always stand up for this loser? You been hangin’ out with this guy since you were like, four!”

She's the lifelong friend of Maximum. She also happens to be the daughter of the Town's Mayor. She's the same age as Maximum and she's the type of girl you don't want to mess with. Even Dorian's a little scared of her. She'll eventually join Maximum on his adventure, like Dorian will.
“Why do YOU always gotta pick on Max’? Seems like you can’t bare to be without him! You got some kind of weird crush or somethin’?”
“He’s such an ass…”
“Well, you did say 'auw' when Dorian punched you REALLY lightly… He’s right you know?… Are you sure you want to go through with this? Become a mercenary and all?”
