Project Overview

Swirling Spirals is a original horror game that’s being worked on by an indie developer. In this game you will play as a worker that has the task to clean and close the facility to be demolished. In this game you will meet a few characters and the main antagonist, Poppi swirls. When encountering Poppi you (the player) will have to fight off and keep an eye out for him, listen closely to see if he’s close and keep complete your task.
(This game will be short and relatively easy, considered to be a "minigame" throughout the series. There will be multiple small games linking to one another, as well as a  "main" 3D game that will be a few hours long.)

  • There's been a change to the game

    Hi everyone!

    I'm very sad to announce this but things have gotten a little too busy.

    Unfortunately a big part of my team can not work on Swirling Spirals due to school and college, and unfortunately school has been getting to me as well. This is not a cancellation, consider it more of a "pause" or "break".

    Though it could be years until this game is actually published, IF we get to that stage. However if things dont take a turn for the better in the time I expect it to I may have to cancel it. For now, I ask all voice actors who have been selected to continue to keep your lines private until further notice. I will post updates on my twitter if & when I have any.

  • Payment update

    After some consideration the payment for the Poppi's VA audition has been changed, instead of it being a possibility it will now be fully paid. The amount is always up for change but is is currently going for min $55 and Max $85 (for all lines mentioned in the description of the VA role, 5 total).

    I would also like to disclose that this project will have commercials and trailers advertising it. Which means your voice may be used in a commercial, trailer, or video which is why the payrate is high for only 5 lines.

    After the deadline has closed and the VA has been chosen, an amount can be agreed upon between the VA and I. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to message me.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and versatile voice actor to bring life to the character of Poppi Swirls, a clown who goes through extreme horrors. The game category is horror, as Poppi swirls you will be trying to attack the player and throw them off guard. 


Voice Description:

Poppi’s voice should exude a masculine voice with authority, control, and a touch of vulnerability. He has a mature and soft-going tone, capable of showing quiet aggression while also showing a pinch of sadness from his past. His voice is soft yet authoritative.


Key Traits:


  • Authoritative yet sad

  • Confident and resolute

  • Commanding presence

  • Ability to convey emotions ranging from controlling to vulnerability

  • Strong enunciation and clear longing speech

  • Masculine voice

  3. (Reflective)  "if only I could blink once and be returned to a faithful state."

How to Apply:

To audition for the role of Poppi Swirls, please submit a demo reel showcasing your range as a voice actor. Include samples of any of the five lines and capture the essence of the character.

When submitting your application please leave your voice completely unedited.

We are currently seeking a talented singer and voice actor to play the role of Sheelie Buns. Sheelie Buns is a rabbit with a high feminine voice. 

Voice Description:

Sheelie's voice should exude a high-pitched feminine voice with gentle tones and expandable voice-range. 

Key Traits:


  • Ability to sing and execute high pitched tones

  • Soft/gentle Tone

  • Exciting and outgoing

  • Ability to convey emotions ranging from sad to joyful

  • Strong enunciation and clear longing speech

  • Feminine voice
