SenpEYES - A Comedy Short
Project Overview
SenpEYES is a comedic infomercial parody for puppets that utilizes elements of both slapstick and surrealist humor. The piece will feature custom-designed puppets and will pay homage to the infomercials of the early 2000’s as well as anime and anime culture.
The SenpEYES crew is comprised of a fun mix of professional animators and seasoned film students. This quirky group of friends have made everything from professional commercials to award-winning shorts. Join them as they dive into a world of puppets and hilarity.
We are currently searching for some talented actors who can provide their vocal talents for our puppets! All roles will be paid, and rates are negotiable.
Audition Guidelines
Audio quality is a must with this project. We heavily prefer XLR microphones, though we are willing to accept USB microphones if they are treated well. No pops, hisses, or background noise. Any auditions with any of these three things will be automatically rejected.
Maximum of three takes per line, please.
If you have Discord, please attach your name to your audition. We would love to add you to our Discord to be able to communicate with you! If necessary, we can also communicate with you through CCC or other preferred methods if cast.
Please submit your auditions in .mp3 or .wav format.
Label your files as, “Senpeyes_CharacterName_YourName” (Example - “Senpeyes_PinkKaty_JaneSmith”)
Most importantly, have fun with it!

Pink Katy has the aesthetic and appearance of a stereotypical head mean girl but has the energy of a stoner raver girl. Her interests are shallow and she is very direct with what she wants.
Pink Katy speaks with a Cali girl accent. She sounds like the kinda gal that spends her weekends at raves.
Oh, my god nooo way. You thought you stood a chance with us with those tiny ping pong balls you call eyes?
Hey, queen! I’m totally going over to Janet’s tonight and like if you aren’t there then the night’s gonna be a total bust, you know what I mean?
Did you, like, get a nose job? No no, it’s like super cute and I’m totes jelly! Where did you get it done?
Blue Katie is simultaneously an airhead and oddly well-read. Her mind never seems to be on the conversation as can be noticed when she disarms a group with an unrelated, but an incredibly obscure bit of "fun facts."
Blue Katie has a lighter, airy quality to her voice and speaks in a higher pitch. She is still sassy but is much calmer than Pink Katy.
Yeah so like, I just got the best nose job. They just like took it right off.
Do you ever just like… lay awake at night and think about all the butterflies that haven’t been born yet?

The Narrator has a rich mature voice and always talks like he’s trying to sell you something.
Hey you! Yes, you! Are you tired of being rejected just because of your ugly mug?
Why make the ladies cry when you could mystify those sexy bi’s with a pair of eyes that satisfy!
