Genshin Impact Abridged Parody
Project Overview
Weโre creating a Genshin Impact parody in episode format utilizing the gameโs cutscenes. This is a non-profit project, so having fun is important! At the moment, all roles are taken. However, this might change in the future.

Please read the rules and guidelines carefully and prepare your audition. Weโd be happy to welcome you to our project!
The project is in the middle of post-production and the Mondstadt episodes are already being released one by one.
Before any trailers or episodes get published, cast-members will be able to watch the episodes beforehand.
The casting call will last until friday this week, so make sure to hand in your audition on time!

A good microphone (snowball blue or higher quality) is necessary to make our parody as neat as possible.
Some background noise is completely fine, nothing we canโt deal with here! But you have to be careful about moving too much / causing any loud disruptive noises.
If you have experience with removing background noise yourself, youโre more than welcome to do so.
If being cast, please record and provide your lines as WAV files.
Your voice doesnโt need to match the characters 1/1. Since this is a parody, many of the characters will have a different feel to them. A general resemblance should be present, but try to include your own charm!
Please provide multiple takes of each line, since that way it will be easier to evaluate your performance (2-3 takes should do the trick)

The minimum age to participate is 16 years old.
The project will be uploaded to YouTube and promoted on various social media, so please only audition if youโre comfortable with having your voice out there!
Please respect the deadlines and be reliable. Youโll receive all of your lines directly after being cast, so you can get started right away!
If you have any issue meeting a deadline, you can always discuss an extension with us. Communication is key!
However, if you continually miss deadlines without an explanation, your role will be recast!
Keep in mind that if you get cast weโd like you to provide multiple takes and you might have to re-take some lines, so be prepared in case that happens!
There is discord server for the project, but joining is voluntarily. We still need your discord account in order to communicate with you though!
TLDR: Please provide 2-3 takes per line, provide your discord name (with tag). The voice doesnโt need to completely match the character, so add your own charm!

Liyue Casting Results
Thank you so incredibly much for over 600 auditions! We have received an overwhelming amount of support for this project and are very happy with the turnout. Sadly not everyone can be cast and due to the high number of auditions weโre unable to give individual feedback, but please know that we appreciated every entry. The newly cast voice actors will be contacted via discord shortly. -
Mondstadt Deadline and Liyue Arc
Thank you very much for over 250 auditions! Weโre so incredibly happy that so many of you want to help us with our project. Sadly we wonโt be able to provide individual feedback for everyone due to the high number of auditions, but please know that every application has been noticed and listened to. You still have 5 hours until the official deadline, after that no new applications for any of the Mondstadt characters will be accepted. On the 1st of July, all the people that have been cast will receive a message containing further instruction via discord and the Mondstadt roles on the casting call will be closed. (Please note that there will be multiple people cast for the male extra role, though that wonโt show up on Casting Call Club) Unfortunately, only a select few people can be accepted for the Mondstadt arc, but the casting is far from over! We now extended the deadline and added various characters from Liyue, so try your best auditioning for them as well! The Liyue deadline will once again be in about two weeks and has the same guidelines as the Mondstadt version. For now, there are only the main characters in Liyue, but more will be added within the upcoming week. -

Hello everybody! Thank you very much for all of your auditions up until this point. Weโre very grateful to all the people willing to help us with our project!
