Project Overview
Warning: Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War contains themes of incest, suicide and overall adult themes.
This is a casting call for the Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War fandub, specifically the first generation.
About Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War is a tactical role-playing game made for the SNES, and was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It was released on May 14, 1996 in Japan. It is the fourth title in the Fire Emblem series.
Genealogy of the Holy War takes place in the continent of Jugdral, which is divided between eight countries. Each were founded by the Twelve crusaders.
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War begins with Prince Kurth making the decision for the Grannvale army to subdue the Kingdom of Isaach, in response to an invasion of Darna by barbarians of Rivough, a dukedom of Isaach. This was an unforeseen occurrence due to the kingdoms of Grannvale and Isaach being at peace for many years.
Lord Sigurd of Chalphy remains in Chalphy castle, while his father Byron was away fighting in Isaach. He believed he had nothing to fear, because there were no invasions or threats from the other countries in the continent of Jugdral; unfortunately, Sigurd's assumption was proven incorrect...
Prince Munnir of Verdane, and his army invade Grannvale, seizing Jungby Castle. Princess Edain, alongside only a few knights that stayed at the castle to protect her, were at Jungby Castle. The Jungby knights were defeated by Munnir and his army. Shortly thereafter, Munnir left Grannvale for Verdane and took Edain as his hostage, intending to force her to marry him.
Sigurd was informed about what has just happened at Jungby and decided to gather the remaining Chalphy knights, to travel to the Kingdom of Verdane to rescue Edain… Thus beginning Sigurds tale.
Project Details
This fandub will cover the entirety, including battle conversations, cutscenes, and lover conversations. The Casting Call for the second generation will be live right after this one has been fully cast.
Note: Names are subject to change. The names used in this casting call are the official names, but the translation used came out before many of the characters had official name translations.

Guidelines
- 1. Audio must sound good. You don’t need to have an expensive microphone, but there should be no static, pops or puffing. Distortion and echo are also not allowed.
2. You can audition for as many characters as you’d like, and if you sound distinct enough, you may be cast as two or more roles!
3. Anyone cast in a non-lead role will also be voicing extras. (eg. villagers, minor villains, generic soldiers)
4. No role will be cast before the deadline. If for some reason the deadline were to be extended, this rule will apply to the original deadline.
5. While I won’t self-cast, I will audition for the project just like anyone else. I will get my co-director to cast the character instead.
6. Some roles, such as Sigurd, will require screaming and crying. There will also be some swearing in the script. If you are uncomfortable with any of these, please do not audition for this project.

Where have we been?
Hello there everyone! I'd like to preface this update by thanking you all for auditioning. It really means a lot, and you all did so great! Now, for the good and bad news. I'll start with the good: We have a cast list! It took us a whole 2 days to cast, but we did it! The bad news? We aren't going to be able to cast for a time. At least 3 days. Right now, I'm working on updating pieces of the script and a casting video! It'll take me some time to complete both of these goals, so please just hang tight a little longer! Despite his determination to restore Chagall's rule, his orders from Belhalla never change: to remain in Agusty and to govern its citizens. Six months have passed, and Grannvale's ruling administrators have already taken to abusing their power over Agustria for their own gain. Before long, as he feared, Sigurd finds himself yet again caught in a new conflict. Reports abound of Chagall raising his army anew, vying to reclaim his lost capital from Sigurd. Belhalla's orders demand that Sigurd must maintain control of Agusty above all else. Sigurd's heart lies heavy in the face of the impending crisis. The looming battle for Agustria... A trial between friendship and loyalties. Before Sigurd looms a final battle in Agustria's north: a showdown fated to shape the course of Jugdral's history.
