Rueined : Season 2 (Animated Series)

Project Overview

Synopsis:

Rueined is a series about Elvira rue, who is a reject from society after a mysterious figure named the Garden thief blames her for all of his crimes. All she has left is an abandoned house to take refuge in and an annoying rabbit named Chester. This series shows the struggles in her life and the lengths she will go to clear her name, even when the accuser is closer than she thinks.

Characters:

Chester- A dumb giant rabbit who likes burritos. He stands at 13 ft tall and has a short temper, he is protective over Elvira and tries to come up with ideas on what to do each episode.

Elvira- A hot headed borzoi who is framed for being the garden thief. She is timid and complains a lot, but deep down she is just a scared little bunny- any ways she is 10ft tall and is mostly what the camera's perspective lies on.

Garden thief- a mysterious figure who is said to have done many horrible actions- which are true, and which are fake? No one knows! But that's the fun, right?

Episode structure:

The stories are in a basic format at first, but then run off to explore more deeper subjects. Ideas of being alone and such are seen throughout the episodes. Major themes of loneliness and despair, while also having themes of friendship. Episodes usually are 10 minutes.

    Hey guys! This is not meant to sound mean at all, I really hope it doesn't come off that way! But the voices of chester, elvira, and randal (garden theif) are actually mine and my fiancés, and I am not replacing those characters. I understand your confusion though! What I meant was for people to put their demo reels in the voice acting roles, I am sorry I didn't clarify!

While we work on Rueined we will also be doing weekly Minecraft videos to keep our audience entertained! So we need editors who can edit Minecraft videos in the style of Stampy/old Minecraft youtubers. Which means, bleeping out swears, adding copy right free music, adding fun effects, and more! just make the videos fun and entertaining with us! Creative freedom is allowed on these videos as well! for a submission please put a demo reel/video you edited and also your DISCORD username! we may dm you directly instead of assigning the role if there are multiple chosen people!

We are looking for animators/storyboard artists who can replicate our art style and have a basic understanding of 2d animation. 

The requirements for this role are: 

1: Can meet deadlines on time. If for any reason you cannot get in a scene/animation in on time, please let us know ahead of time.

2: Work well with others and collaborate/brainstorm ideas with other crew members.

3: You must have a PC or device that can run Tahoma2D. Tahoma2D is the required animation software as it is a free and fairly easy to understand the program.

4: Communicate if you are having any difficulties with said program or trying to replicate the art style.

5: Watch the videos in the linked YouTube channel. Send in a demo reel or some art pieces you have done to the discord user "unianetwork"

If needed, we will teach the animation/art style to you.

Music for the series is mostly more background centered but we are looking for people who are also interested in doing songs with lyrics aswell. Rueined is partly a musical in this season and the later ones, so some one who has the knowledge to be able to make compelling and beautiful music would be great to have. There are more than one people for this role, this is so you guys dont get stressed. The music style is very much Over the Garden wall inspired, but can go into styles like jazz and also musical numbers.
