Introduction:
Hello, everybody! My name is Meggie-Elise and I am pleased to announce that I will be working alongside the brilliant, Caytlin Brandt!
Otherwise known as Pixel Prism, Caytlin lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and fuzzy pets, drawing comics for a living. She was inspired by childhood memories when she came up with Tamberlane as an homage to the works of Beatrix Potter, as well as Brian Jacques's Redwall series and other wonderful books. (Other more contemporary inspirations include Steven Universe, Wolf Children, and Moana.) She is also an LGBTQ+ creator and enjoys creating fiction with queer characters doing things that have nothing to do with being queer. She also feels ever-so-slightly weird writing this bio in the third person, but she will nonetheless persevere!
Story of Tamberlane:
One day, the citizens of Treehollow discovered a small, strange creature wandering alone in Rattleglen Forest. Clearly much too young to be on her own, and with limited verbal communication skills (though she gets by with a little sign language), it’s anyone’s guess how this mysterious being, named Tamberlane, ended up in their care.
Fostered by Belfry, the accident-prone bat with a heart of gold, and guided by a colorful cast of animal characters, Tamberlane’s mysteries continue to unfold. But one question remains on everyone’s mind: who (or more specifically, what) is she?
Project Details:
We plan on dubbing all of CHP1. If things go well, on to CHP2!
For this Casting Call, we are hoping to cast two of the Primary Characters. Once those two have been casted, we will move onto the Secondary Characters. For any of those curious, I will be playing the role of Belfrey Baker.

Project Requirements:
- Please use a professional microphone. No peaking, puffing, or piking. Also, please rid yourself of any background noise in your recordings.
- First of all, if you have decided to audition, thank you! However, before submitting your audition, there are a few things that you should keep in mind.
-You must be able to commit to a project to a long-running project.
-When it comes to deadlines, we can be incredibly flexible as long as you keep us updated. As this is a passion project, we don't expect anyone to dedicate all of their time to this, but it certainly will help if you can be responsive when it comes to delivering lines. So, basically, please do not ghost us!
-You must have a competent microphone with a somewhat competent recording setup.
We understand that not everyone has access to studio-quality equipment, but due to the nature of this project, we are aiming for the best possible quality possible. If your setup is good enough, that's fine. You can go ahead and submit an audition anyway! It certainly doesn't hurt to try. :)
-You must have access to Discord.

He’s not grumpy, you’re just inconsiderate, loud, and far too energetic for an old yote like him. As much as he likes to bark, residents know he’s not much for biting. Honestly, he seems to care far more about the residents of Treehollow than he would ever admit.

Every day, the same routine.
Get up at precisely four-thirty-five in the morning. Use the necessary. Comb fur. Put on clothes. A precisely groomed appearance is the mark of a gentleman. I may not be a gentleman, but at least I can get close.
Water the plants. Make tea. Oatmeal is best served with a smidgeon of honey. Extravagant? Maybe. But at my age, you can afford to be a little extravagant.
Here, my routine diverges since the little pest came to Treehollow. Before, I would spend my day in my rocking chair in Cutter's Corner, reading books and greeting library patrons. Now, I'm swamped with research. Ever more research. What are you? Where did you come from? Why haven't you any fur except that matted mop on the top of your overlarge cranium?
I suppose only time -- and effort -- will tell.
Caytlin has said that her headcanon voice for Tamberlane is Baba from Puffin Rock.

Ainsley tries very hard not to let their imagination run away with them, but when you’re a creature with anxiety and a deep love of monster stories, sometimes it’s inevitable. Briar is your typical teenager, doing her best to just survive her adolescent years in order to grow up. She is very serious about contributing to society, but she also isn’t always sure how to go about it, and her inexperience leads to mistakes which lead to a bout of temper. Still, under all her teenager-y moodiness, she’s a kind heart with a good soul. She loves her family and her town and would do anything to keep them safe.

Tess is, above all, a strong personality. She never does anything in half-measures: she loves wholeheartedly and can hold a grudge like no one’s business. She’s aware of these faults in herself, but sometimes her emotions just carry her away.
Once one of the proudest and best pit fighters the country of Silver Sage had to offer, she has since settled down into a domestic life of motherhood. … Still, sometimes she wishes she could get away with just a little fighting again. But that would be foolish.
