I am a big fan of the Golden Age of Radio (1920s-1950s).  One of the great, freeing things about voice acting is that you're not locked into your physical attributes.  It's all about your acting talent and your skill in manipulating your voice.

One of my role models is actress Virginia Gregg, who could voice any character from young to old, high society to scullery cook, innocent to femme fatale, and everything in between including a wide array of accents.  Although she never held an iconic lead role, as a character actress she was in high demand and was never out of work.

I am relatively new to voice acting but have spent many years on stage in community theatre.  I played leads in productions of The Foreigner, Who Murdered Marsha, and No More Homework; and was among the support/ensemble casts for Amadeus, Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Fortinbras.

I did enjoy two semi-professional jobs on the Children's Television Workshop program "Mathnet" as an extra in the episodes "The Case of the Un-Natural" and "The Calpurnian Kugel Caper."

As a vocalist, I have decades of experience in musical theater and as a soloist, core choir member, worship leader, and ensemble work.  Although I am a mezzo-soprano, my comfort zone is at the low end of the range, and believe the soulful ballads of the big band era are an alto's best friend.

I am a theatre-in-the-blood hobbyist with aspirations.  I enjoy flexing my vocal chords and seeing where it all leads.  That being said..... I am at a point in my journey where I no longer take on new projects/directors on the unpaid side.

  • @dazwizzle

Fussbudgetjr has provided an awesome and very responsive role in my project. She always responded to requests and recorded many lines at short notice. She played the Role as the Narrator for my project and was a delight to work with.

  • @danmg

Was very professional to work with! Definitely carried themselves well and knows exactly how to read into a character. Working with them has brought my project completely to life, and if you need someone who knows how to act with great emotion and who's responsible for their roles, I definitely recommend Fussbudgetjr

  • @lord-krit

Fussbudgetjr is hard-working, friendly, and reliable. Her range given to the characters she voices is amazing, as well as her professional demeanor and ability to deliver lines without issue. Would recommend her in any project for her experience, versatile nature, and professionalism. - LK, Revitalized director.

  • @oppo-rancisis

Where do I even start with Sharon? She is absolutely amazing when it comes to voice acting and is currently voicing Aunt May in my series of amazing spider-man voice dubbed comics.

When I heard her play May for the first time, I was under the impression the character came to life and voiced herself, so fantastic was both Sharon's voice and the delivery of the lines. It was as if she almost dived inside the comic book's panels, thought every single thing about this character through and sent me some of the most fantastic results.

Sharon's care and passion for the characters she voices make them feel so fleshed out and 3-dimensional. If Sharon is a voice in your project, I can almost guarantee you will be satisfied.

  • @arielz83

Fussbudjetjr completely blew me away with her audition. I can't believe that her husband created an orchestration midi for her to sing with! Her voice was absolutely perfect for the role of the Empress Dowager Marie in my "Quartet at the Ballet" cover piece. She has a beautiful voice, and created her tracks quickly. Excellent communication as well. I would love to work with Sharon again, and highly recommend her to all directors!

  • @mrjorgensen2001

Sharon Is a Great Actress! She's Got a Pretty Voice And Pretty Good Voice Range. Good Delivery And Acting, Too! Would Work With Her Again! ;)

  • @gcs1992

I have casted Fussbudgetjr for the role of "Mother Nature" in the original project "Hurricane Ivan the Animation". First, she has an amazing voice which really brought the character to life. She also provided excellent quality with her piece. She had also maintained excellent two-way communication with me (the director) which makes my job easier. With maintaining great two-way communication, she also meets the deadlines far ahead of time giving ample time for any corrections needed. However, after listening to her lines, she gave the character the necessary amount of nobility and motherly voice that she needs to be brought to life. Overall, she did well as a voice actor and as roleplaying her character, and I would strongly recommend her to any project.

    Kind regards,

    Gareth "GCS" Scott (GCS)

Sharon is a hard-working, dedicated actress who will get you the voice that you need for your project. She has auditioned for a few of my projects and I am eager to find the perfect role for her because this lady has talent! Don't shy away from giving her a role in your next production because I know she won't let you down!

  • @dkvoicesvary

I first was introduced to her on the audio drama Erai's Destiny. She is professional, versatile, and takes direction flawlessly. I love the intensity of the acting in her scene! I am continuing to work with her in other project and know I am in good company.

  • @deleted296738

While I've already recommended Sharon, there's no harm in giving her another one! She absolutely nailed the role of Tessie in my recreation of "The Lottery!" I look forward to including her in other projects of mine because she is so talented and a joy to work with.
