Project Overview
Hello everyone, this is Katie Grigry, one of the directors and writers for Persona 5: the Animation- English Dub! We are looking for a replacement for one of our lead roles, Morgana! We are very proud of our cast and currently are making great progress on season one, almost done with recording completely!
Because of this, before auditioning for Morgana we need you to be aware of a few things: unfortunately the line submission is going to be pretty rapid. We are willing to work with you as much as possible but we really need an actor or actress who will be on their A-Game!
Before you audition, please be sure you can meet these deadlines and are okay with it. Amount of lines in each episode vary, (3 lines at minimum, but being as much as 60 in the biggest episode for you- episodes 3 thought 8 will be the most intense, calming down towards the end of the season).

Morgana Recording Schedule
Hey guys! We have a finalized recording schedule for Morgana, and, I'm not going to lie, it's a bit intense. It will be two episode a week due every Saturday form November 9th to December 21st. Despite his cocky attitude, Morgana is actually quite level-headed, having the sense to know when it's best to retreat and fight another day, as well as often warning the others not to let their emotions get the better of them. However, this level-headedness is not absolute, as he's shown to get engrossed by stuff he perceives as valuable, especially "the embodiment of human desire". While appearing to be a cat, Morgana emphatically insists to be a human, and sticks with the team as he believes they'll be able to help him discover his origins and regain his true form. Morgana becomes irritated when he's called and being thought of as nothing more than a cat, as it lessens his sense of identity; this is likely one of the reasons that instigated his heated relationship with Ryuji Sakamoto. Despite this, sometimes he instinctively meows and self-grooms, being able to get used to his lifestyle as a cat easily. Despite this, he demonstrates a sense of morality, a rich dictionary and even exhibits a sense of style.
Shh! I’m not a cat! My name is Morganna. Hey, let’s make a deal. See that key? Use it to free me. If you do I’ll tell you all about this palace. Got a deal?
That’s right. Making him aware that the Treasure is being targeted will make it appear for the first time. Our calling card should make it possible to steal.

Ryuji is known as a disruptive "problem student" at school whose bad behavior causes all sorts of trouble for the teachers. He is quite proud of his status as a self-proclaimed "troublemaker" and his rebellious, mischievous and disobedient nature are the perfect qualities to be a Phantom Thief.
(small exhale) Well, yeah. But they don’t care because he’s an Olympic gold medalist who took the volleyball team to nationals. And he acts all friendly. Him being king of the castle felt way too real because of that. Sheesh, I don’t get this whole thing at all! It was a dream! It had to be a dream!
(As Captain Kidd) You seek power, correct? Then let us form a pact. Since your name has already been disgraced why not hoist the flag and wreak havoc? The “other you” who exists within desires it thus. I am thou, thou art I… There is no turning back. The skull of rebellion is your flag henceforth!

Futaba Sakura is a bright and energetic young woman, but she is shy around strangers. She is a member of the Phantom Thieves taking the role of Navigator. She is known for being excellent at computers, hacking with ease. The actress that plays her needs to be able to portray an innocent, nerdy vibe with a strong voice that can come off scared and anxiety driven as well. The actress that plays her also needs to be aware that Futaba is featured in the first episode but doesn't become prominent until the beginning of Season 2.
The lack of attraction, the weak body mass, and unrecognizable face? Mishima, Are you a NPC?
I won't let those distorted lies deceive me anymore... And I won't be led astray by other's voices either... I'm going to trust my own eyes and my own heart to distinguish the truth from the lies. Caroline and Justine are Twin Wardens, and the Velvet Room attendants. Caroline is bright and fiery, Justine is cool and composed. The actress that plays this character needs to have the two sound distinct in their voices, but needs them to sound close enough to each other that it is obvious they are twins. They actress needs to also have a subtle air of mystery to her voice as these characters are mysterious when looking into them.
Caroline: Those who oppose fate and desire change… From time to time, they were referred to as Tricksters.

"Suguru Kamoshida, the utter bastard of lust..." Kamoshida, to those who don't realize, is a charismatic man with an impressive repertoire, having won a medal in the Olympics in volleyball. He is the volleyball coach at the school. He treats his team like slaves, craves the female students, and creates horrible reputations for students he dislikes. The actor that plays him needs to be able to play both charming and disgusting.
Hey, are you the new transfer student? You must have big balls to be late on your first day. And you’re too relaxed, Sakamoto. And you’re missing too many days of school! Quite a difference from when you were back on] the track team.

Madarame is a seemingly quiet and humble old man, content to live with his art and his student, Yusuke. In reality, he is greedy, stopping at seemingly nothing to bring more money and fame to his name, stepping on everyone in his path. The only person more extravagant than he is, is his shadow. The actor for needs to be able to portray humble and modest juxtaposed to extreme arrogance.
I find it hard to put into words, but I, find that the art pieces well up form within my heart, similar to bubbles rising to the surface of a spring. What’s important is distancing oneself from worldly desires like fame and fortune. My atelier is a modest shack, but it’s more than enough to purse true beauty.
Heh. Ordinary people are the ones who should feel ashamed. They can’t distinguish between a real and fake, but they throw money at me for the works of my pupils. As long as it has my name on it, it doesn’t matter!

Kaneshiro is a man of the dark world, hidden in the shadows, preying on those that are weak, not hiding his evil intentions. He is not afraid to exhort people. The actor that plays him needs to be able to play a greedy, evil man. In addition he needs to be able to attempt rapping, as his boss fight includes him rapping. As it is a comedic scene the rapping does not necessarily have to be good as long as the acting is good.
Can’t you tell? I don’t appreciate the stunt you guys pulled coming here. I spend money to relieve my stress. But now there’s an empty space and I’m going to get pissed off if it’s not filled. I’m a perfectionist. So fill the spot. Good luck.

In front of the voter's he puts on a facade of kindness and generosity, but behind closed doors he is ruthless, self serving man. The voice actor for him needs to portray charming and sinister equally well.

Nakanohara is a former student of Madarame. Initially he comes off as a villain, but becomes a character to be pitied. The actor needs to be able to portray submissive and fearful without being over the top.
