We are back, and so ready to start implementing your voice into our game. We have our scripts ready and prepared for you to jump straight into our project the moment you're casted.

This is a PAID project, all transactions will be handled via paypal, venmo, or cashapp according to your preference. Payment will follow in compliance with your pricing as long as it's in agreeable conditions. Do NOT base pricing off of what's listed on CCC (it's only a rough estimate) as it will fluctuate based on YOUR prices.

Game Description:

Whispers Of Iris is a unique psychological mystery RPG game following a homicide detective named Valentine Carter. Although dealing with death and tragedy came part of doing his job, he never thought that one day he'd have to deal with the crime of his childhood best friend. Whispers of Iris aims to tackle the themes of grief in a literal and metaphorical standpoint, teaching the player proper coping mechanisms, the importance of building meaningful relationships, and that grief is a natural part of life. In this game, you'll solve puzzles, fight your fears, and discover the truth behind your best friend's death. Which path will you take?

Q&A:

Listed below are frequently asked questions with their corresponding answers:

Q: What platform will be used to communicate?
A: Discord will be our primary source of communication.

Q: How do you plan to work with the VAs?

A: We plan to work extremely close with the VAs, doing character building activities, script readings, and more, in order to ensure a positive work environment, and the best delivery of lines possible.

Q: Do I have to own a professional microphone?
A: No! Our director, Rei, is an ex-voice actress herself and can completely understand the struggle. We're just looking for VAs that will suit the character voices with as little to no white noise possible.

Q: How long will this project be in production?
A: VA's will have all scripts ready by the time they are casted. However, because we're a small team, development of the game is much more tedious, so VA's will have to stick around a while to see if additional lines are needed.

Q: How is the game stylized?

A: Whispers Of Iris is an RPG Game made on RPG Maker MZ. It includes many CG Illustrations, animated cutscenes, and puzzles for the player to solve. There are 5 chapters in the game based on the stages of grief, with 5 different main characters representing the stage as a whole.
Q: What is WOI based on?

A: Whispers Of Iris is an entirely original concept written and crafted by LVRRBitz Studios. The game's idea came to us in 2020 (during the COVID-19 pandemic) when our director, Rei, witnessed herself and many of her own friends struggling with the loss of their loved ones. She noticed that with the combination of loss and the lockdown, many of her friends resorted to isolation. The goal of Whispers Of Iris is to teach players the proper coping mechanisms and the importance of connection in order to overcome grief.

  • Dismissals and Shortlisting

    Hi all!

    We've recently been receiving many questions regarding dismissals and shortlisting and we want to clear the air and answer some of those questions you may have.

    As we get closer to the deadline, we've been growing increasingly more rigorous with reviewing the auditions. Due to this, you may have noticed that you received a notification saying your audition was "dismissed" or "shortlisted".

    This is all part of our process of filtering through these auditions in a more organized way due to the overwhelming amount of auditions that we have received in the last two months! Which, again, we thank you for taking part in this opportunity! It makes us so happy to see!

    If you have received a "dismissed" notification, do not, by any means, let it discredit you as a voice actor, or let it get your hopes down. Just because you have received a "dismissed" notification, it does not mean that we have completely turned away your audition and/or have stopped considering it. Again, it's just a part of our filtering process.

    For anyone wondering "Why have I been dismissed?", a majority of the time, it's simply because we have a different voice in mind for the character. We have been so shocked and overjoyed by the talent we have seen thus far from all of you, we have never "dismissed" a voice because we think otherwise.

    As we've stated before, we always listen to every audition the whole way through, and consider every possibility and every voice.

    As we close in on the audition deadline and casting date, we can't wait to welcome our new voice actors on the team!

  • Audition Deadline!

    To clarify since we've noticed a few people have been asking! :

    The audition deadline is February 28th as listed in the project's details.

    This means we will not be casting anyone until that date! The reason the roles for Valentine Carter and Candy Kimikina are closed is because they were casted long before the CCC posting!

    We're doing the casting process this way in order to ensure a fair auditioning process for all of you whilst we also conduct a thorough search for voice actors! The last thing we would ever want is for any of you to stress over losing an opportunity to participate in our game's development because of travel, sickness, etc.

    All of your auditions thus far have been nothing short but phenomenal! Keep up the great work!

    If you have yet to audition, you still have plenty of time, and we hope to be hearing from you soon!

Valentine Carter is the MC in the game, who you play as, and who the story follows. He's a young, intelligent homicide detective who takes a lot of pride in his work and what he does. Overall, Valentine has an incredibly charismatic and caring personality, allowing some of the others in the group to look up to him and rely on him like an older brother. Valentine is a huge goofball, and has a lot of spunk to him. He's got a BIG personality! However, despite all this, he knows when it's time to get serious and more sentimental. He's great support for his friends, and is always offering his support, caring about others more than himself.

We imagine Valentine to have a youthful, charming, and confident voice. His voice holds a lot of expression and energy considering he's very animated regarding his emotions. We imagine his voice to have a lightly nasal quality that complements his playful and sometimes overconfident demeanor. His tone often shifts depending on the situation, ranging from a more sing-songy style of teasing to earnest and determined. But in moments of vulnerability or seriousness, it deepens slightly, grounding his words with sincerity. Overall, he's a dynamic character, thats extremely playful, something we hope the VA can match and have fun with.

Niko is the embodiment of denial within the game. She's a confident, smart, and outrageously imaginative girl who has big dreams of exploring beyond the stars. Niko is an extremely hard worker, literally working several jobs just so she can get through university and pursue her dreams. She's a huge jokester, constantly playing pranks, cracking jokes at the wrong times, and spilling information that...shouldn't exactly be said. Apart from that, she's an extremely loyal friend, and a great companion to have, especially if you're looking for a laugh.

We imagine Niko's voice to be youthful, loud, and full of energy. She's a pretty rambunctious and spontaneous character, and her voice should be on par with that. We imagine her voice to have a bit of a raspy sound to it, and be full of spunk. Niko is an extremely childish character, and the energy that comes with that should carry through her voice.

Reed is the embodiment of anger. Although he has a short-temper, and sometimes his hot head can get the best of him, the group all knows that his heart is in the right place, even though he doesn't know how to put it into words sometimes. Reed has an extremely blunt, sarcastic, and snarky personality to him. He's extremely tech-savvy, and takes great pride in his coding and hacking skills. However, despite this, he's easily flustered and embarrassed when given compliments. Even though he struggles with showing more heartfelt emotions and being more sentimental, it's obvious what he's trying to say, and despite not being able to word it, it's clear that it's his thought that counts, and that is enough to get a smile out of the group. Reed's a great loyal friend to have at your side.

Francis is an extremely rambunctious guy, always seeming to get himself into trouble one way or another. He's all over the place and extremely messy, but despite all this he knows how to get a job done when a job needs to get done. Francis is extremely spontaneous and unpredictable, always doing whatever he wants whenever he wants whether there are rules in place or not. He always seems to be doing something new, working a new job, or getting himself into another sticky situation, but that's just how Francis is, and he can handle it. Although his sarcastic style of humor can come across as pretty self absorbed, he genuinely holds dear to him the relationships he makes that he deems important.

Lucan is an air-headed goofball that doesn't know how to control his excitement. He's a very vocal person, and is constantly talking his own head off. Jude is a massive kleptomaniac, giving him a very sneaky personality. For the most part, Jude is relatively quiet around others, but when he does speak, his words can be very off putting at times. When speaking with others, Jude is often very blunt and cold, his words carrying a lot of sarcasm. However, despite all this, when he's around Lucan, he's much more friendlier and soft spoken. Voice Description:

We imagine Jude to have a pretty cold and brooding voice. His words carry a bit of sarcasm, allowing his rude and harsh personality to shine right through it. Aside from this, Jude is relatively quiet, but when he does speak up his harsh words hold power and confidence in what he says. Jude won't speak up unless he's saying what he's meaning, and this should show.
