Project Overview
Our project is made for an by fans of Steven Universe, we as a part of the project have a strong connection and passion for what we are making. We place a lot of value in recapturing the spirit and intrigue in the early episodes of SU along side a heavy emphasis on world building, gripping lore, defined character development and motivation, along side thrilling action and scene flow.
Even if you don't end up making the cut, we urge you to join our discord so we can still give you recognition for your efforts here regardless.

A note to you all, we have a lot of passion and love for our project, yet have no funding or even all that much time so production can greatly slow at times. if you are not willing to join due to that, power to you, but to those who are willing to add your passion to ours, we welcome you with open arms!
(Little note to VAs, we encourage in character improv lines. This we believe just helps to get into that kinda headspace for the characters better. So after you've done the lines, give it a shot!)
Our story takes place on the war torn world of Minerva, a colony owned by the Crystal Emperium. Minerva is a world embroiled in chaos and strife, plagued by lawlessness only loosely governed by Emperium presence. to pick up slack in under defended settlements, groups of bounty hunters have been contacted to protect these places, the main cast is 1 such group. the group consists of Olivine the Sniper, Staurolite the Healer, Conch Pearl the Swordsmen, Lefty the demolitions expert, and Roob the aspiring pilot. The group meet up together in the shanty town of Dimmer to start work, their meet up pleasantries are cut short as a wanted criminal named Heliotrope makes herself known to them, and they give chase to not let their first catch get away.

The local shy guy half gem. He's a local resident of the town of Dimmer and works as an errand boy for one of the region's court-sponsored shipping agencies and is well-liked by most in the area. He's soft spoken and doesn't speak up for himself often, but he's pretty quick witted, polite and has a kind heart. He has a crush on Roob the Ruby but he's way too afraid to approach her. (Little does he know, she has one on him too) he's often seen delivering packages and fixing up tech for the locals' humble desert homes. He also has a close yet mysterious relationship to the local criminal gem Heliotrope. It's unclear to everyone, even Helio how he knows her, however he holds a lot of care for her safety.

The clear odd ball of the main cast. She had a keen fascination with swords and sharp objects paired with a obsessive attitude towards anything else that happens to suit her fancy, much of anything else is met with complete apathy. She among the group is the most quiet and reserved but this isn't because she's shy, more she doesn't have anything to say or care enough to. She takes extreme pleasure in combat and it's where she's most in her element. She also has an odd obsession with a Heliotrope who joins the team and is always hanging around her.
You think I just like swords? Pfffft... I'd say... Adore them is more appropriate to suggest.

Olivine's peppy gemling who has an obsession with Minervan wild life. As a peridot, she's overflowing with self assurance and a little bit of an attitude subdued with a child's sense of wonder and care free attitude. Her only real insecurity is the gem defect that has disfigured one of her arms. She can be shy when meeting new people because of it. She's around the age of 7 mentally.

Minerva Gems takes place on a mostly dry and arid planet.
-The general vibe we are interested in is a fusion of chip-synth, western, and middle-eastern sounds from instruments such as the dukduk, quanoon, O'od, sitar, ect. complimented by orchestral accompaniments like violin, flute, drums,ect.
-We also have a need for high energy genres like rock and metal for fight scenes(again, tinted with desert/wild west western vibes).
-Lastly, if you have any experience developing lietmotiefs, we are interested in creating some as a framework for our story's characters and settings.

Pitt is a resident of to the humble town of Dimmer, He says he's a hybrid of a Pearl and a Maivarii but many question the truthfulness of that given his odd appearance, regardless, he's a valued member of the community. He's a witty and smart mouthed guy who has a lot of street smarts and doesn't take disrespect from no one. He acts and talks a little like one of those mafia type gangsters who will always stick up for a friend but'll be just as ready to bash the head in of someone looking at him funny.
Like with all of our voice roles, feel free to improv a little bit too.

The very concept of zen made manifest in Gem form. She sits with a humble smile, always content sitting on her court assigned perch as she fishes and sometimes doll out advice to her irritable Overseer Ivory. She speaks with a pleasant rhythmic tone, never becoming too excited or irate about the situation at hand. Merely listening and observing. Her purpose is to be the voice of abject peace and tranquility to any situation that arises. A stark contrast to the others of her council. One would be foolish to take her disposition as absentminded or dim, it's quite the opposite, only a certain pedigree of gem can make it into a court after all.

One of the other advisors of Ivory. She tends to be a pessimist and seems to always have a negative or snarky remark about a situation. Despite her negative traits, she helps out the best she can handling part of the paper work load for Ivory and is the gem the main cast the team turns in their bounties or request new equipment from. She always seems to be around doing this or that keeping herself busy.
Her voice should sound around like Lapis from SU but ever so slightly more depressed.
(Also as a joke we wanted to give her a deep suave manly voice akin to buttwitch from 12 forever, if you feel up to it, give it a shot lol)

Sunstone is a gem of extreme fanatical faith in someone simply named "The Master". With a boastful yet shrill and horse voice(think StarScream from The Transformers), she spreads the message of The Master to anyone who will listen. She's extremely short tempered and quick to explode on whom ever would decry her devotion. Anyone who dares insult her faith shall meet a painful fate.
You really think you can challenge The Master?? What a joke! Hahahaha... Oh wait you're serious.

No one knows where she came from or why she's there, but she's seemed to gain a local following in the humble dimmer town and is welcomed for the most part.

The cynical and deadpan security robonoid the main cast find in the desert. As a security robonoid he's adept at most battle situations and is absolutely relentless during combat doing anything and everything he can to end the fight as quickly and efficiently as possible. He's often seen as needlessly brutal.
He has an attachment to Nermling as his adoptive "father" during when they both lived in a lab city. He has no idea how he got in the middle of the desert, nor why he left, along with not remembering that Nermling left either. He's also plagued with vague visions of horror every time he thinks about what happened...
How did I even get out here? I remember being destroyed after... Guess it's not important now.
