Fire Emblem Three Houses - Meeting the Students [Fandub]

Project Overview

With Fire Emblem Three Houses now out, I had thought it would be fun to make a short fandub showing Byleth (the protagonist) meeting all of the students for the first time.


THIS PROJECT WILL NOT CONTAIN ANY SPOILERS - it happens at the beginning of the game, and is very brief. The characters say a little about themselves, but nothing not revealed in previous trailers and other promotional materiel.  


Many of the characters in this project will have a short amount of lines, but we may decide to do more little scenes in future.


Please note that Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude were cast off site, we will only be casting for their classmates.


If you are cast, be sure to check the comments of your audition for the next steps!


Although all of these characters do have English voices, all of which I do like, give us your interpretation! It's more exciting that way :D


Guess it also helps to mention that I picked the Black Eagles House...so my knowledge on the other characters is minimum, so their lines are all improved from what I think they'd say ^-^'

You can add some improv if you like! It won't guarantee you to be cast, but it does boost your chances!


RULES!

Just a few things to go over!


1. DON'T SAY YOUR NAME BEFORE YOUR AUDITION! -  A pet peeve of mine ^^' Let's just get straight into your audition, no time wasting!

2. Act - Though no context or anything is given, it's up to you to improv and show me what you can do! So please don;t just read the lines and be as flat as a pancake. 

3. Decent mic quality - nothing expensive required, but please try to avoid having background noise, pops and other little things that will deter the quality of your auditions. 

4. Multi takes - If you are doing multiple takes of a line, just be sure to do no more than 3...how appropriate. 3 is plenty, but be sure to add something different with each take, such as a change in tone, pitch, inflection etc. This is optional, 1 take per line is fine too!

  • Casting Complete!

    Still not used to casting calls new casting method x.x But we have our cast! Thanks to all who auditioned! I will be casting some other roles in the future, so if you were not cast then don't worry as there will be a chance in the future to audition for more characters! I limited the casting options to one character each, which made casting slightly harder. For those cast, be sure to check your comments section of your audition as there will be instructions for what to do next. (unless I have cast you before for another project, in that case I will email you!)

ENG VA - Robbie Daymond

I am after a voice that is cold and deep, with a sinister feel, that is however not evil.

Known as the "Brains of the Black Eagles," Hubert is the heir to House Vestra and has served Edelgard since childhood. He is willing to use any means necessary to eliminate obstacles from her path.

Hubert has been a stalwart servant to Edelgard and expresses undying loyalty to her. He is protective of her. He will do whatever it takes to eliminate obstacles for her.


  • I will do whatever I must to protect Lady Edelgard.

  • If you continue to distract me, I shall make sure to get rid of you...

  • If you wish to see Lady Edelgard, then you must have a death wish. It is my mission to protect her, and eliminate anyone who dares oppose her.

ENG VA - Allegra Clark


I am after a voice that is id pitched, sounds cheerful and upbeat, but with a snarky side too. 


A natural performer, Dorothea enjoys all forms of performing arts from acting to music, but has a particular affinity for singing as she was a songstress. Manuela is her idol as she was a senior in the same opera company.


  • I maybe just a commoner, but don't think that means I am any less capable than anyone here! I can hold my own in anything, and I'll demonstrate that to you!

I am looking for a voice that is of high class and slightly stuck up.

Ferdinand is a confident and proud noble that hates losing. When it comes to Princess Edelgard, her exceptional abilities brew competitiveness in himself.

I am after a voice that is soft and shy.

Bernadetta is a very shy and quiet girl. During her free time, she is often found holed up in her dorm room, avoiding most people. When she does have to wander outside, she will occasionally feign illness to avoid interaction with her fellow classmates

I am after a high to medium pitch voice that is youthful and enthusiastic.

Caspar's hotheadedness holds him back, but he has a strong sense of justice that makes him hate lies and unfair treatment, and overall has a very honest personality.

ENG VA - Faye Mata

As Petra is foregin, I am ok with her having a slight accent, but nothing over the top.

Petra is considered incredibly intelligent and capable among her fellow students. As an exchange student, Petra is not entirely familiar with the native tongue of Fódlan and speaks in a slightly broken speech pattern. Despite this, Petra is devoted to learning the language and about Fódlan as a whole.

I am after a voice that is softer and lazy.

Linhardt hates constraints and loves his freedom, so he does his best to avoid worries and problems, and indulges in lazing about.

I am looking for a voice that is stern and deep.

His stern face and stoic demeanour belie that he is a calm, gentle man. Polite to a fault, he is devoted to Dimitri as his primary protector as he owes Dimitri a great debt and is resolved to protect him with his life. He is particularly kind to those who are also kind to Dimitri.


  • It matters not who we are up against, they will not hurt his highness.

  • If you spend too much time around a man of Duscur…there will be rumours.

ENG VA – Lucien Dodge

I am after a serious and stern voice, with a slight rudeness (as in impolite) to it.

He presents himself as a sharp-tongued lone wolf. Felix is so devoted to honing his swordsmanship that he will immediately challenge any strong person he meets to a duel. He values hard work and is disdainful of those that rely on their noble privilege or Crest.


  • “There's nothing to be gained from fighting someone not worth duelling, after all.”

  • Those who rely on their crests are not fit to be on the battlefield. One must hone their skills and train everyday to become stronger.

ENG VA - Dorothy Elias-Fahn

Considering she is older (yes I know by only a few years but I would like that to be more distinct and shown in her voice), I would rather she have a deeper and more motherly voice, in comparison to the higher voices the Japanese and English dubs gave her.

Mercedes is a kind girl who watches her surroundings closely and can't ignore people in need. She's also a very religious person, having spent much of her youth in a church, and enjoys praying.

  • I be a little more experience than the others, but I still have much to learn!

ENG VA - Shannon Mckain

I am after a youthful and energetic young boys voice.

Considering he looks younger, I am not opposed to him being voice by a girl using a young boys voice.

Ashe was born as the son of restaurateurs in the Gaspard region. He was adopted by Lord Lonato, the landlord of the Gaspard territory, at the age of 10. Three years later, his adopted brother Christophe was executed by the Knights of Seiros. He holds great respect and gratitude towards Lord Lonato, who took him in, raised him as his own, and sent him to the Officer's Academy despite him being a commoner. He is a serious young boy, who studies and trains hard so he can become an outstanding adult like his benefactor.

This young student has already graduated from the School of Sorcery with excellent grades. She's bright and hard working, but her plans have a way of going awry.

Ingrid aspires to be an ideal knight which is reflected in her principled and industrious nature. Dimitri himself claims that "she is more knightly than most knights." However, she forgets herself in the presence of delicious food.

However, she exhibits childish traits, such as having a fear of ghosts and disliking bitter food.
