DISCLAIMER: Most of the character profiles for these roles are missing the proper artwork used for this game. As you can probably tell, a little over half the character profiles have proper character art profiles while the rest do not. The ones that lack proper artwork are currently temporary placeholders until the actual character sprite is created. We do apologize if this creates an inconvenience or confusion as to why they artwork looks different from the others.

We are also seeking game programmers, so if you are interested, please do apply. Ideally, if you have experience in programming/game development, your dedication/help is key to our successful fangan.
This has the same content warnings as the official danganronpa games. Mental Illness, violence, graphic content, etc. I am ideally seeking people the age of 14 or above, due to the story’s mature rating. This series is unpaid, due to it being a fan adaptation. To avoid legal issues, no profits will be made, nor dealt out. I am looking to hire people who do it out of passion and seek experience. This project will not take place in a high-end studio, but it will remain as professional as it can possibly be. I do not plan to slack off, nor do I expect you to. That being said, this doesn’t mean the environment is strict nor unfriendly. Feel free to be chill! Definitely a long term project, but this does not mean you will have to spend hours concentrating on it per week. If you have/would like to devote more time to the project, I am also seeking lead artists, editors, etc. To help direct that specific field and take on a larger workload. This is very much appreciated and helps me and my co-director.
Summary:
A group of 16 students are taken and trapped within an old abandoned hospital. Not knowing how they got there, they all stumble inside the main foyer where they are all greeted by Monosnake, the owner of the hospital. He then introduces the killing game to them which frightens the poor group of teens. Will they be able to conquer through the despair that has been brought over them or will they give in to the despair and harm their own fellow classmates just for survival? Or will the mastermind get to them first?
VA Requirements:
- Must be 13 or older because of Discord TOS, but preferred to be 14+ at least.
- Must own a microphone that can record with little to zero background noise (no headphones with built-in mics!).
- Must be willing to stick to this project and not leave if you are cast unless you talk to either me about what's going on.
- Be nice and respectful towards other people within the server.

Character Name: Rina Kawano (Female) - (r-ee-n-ah k-aa-w-AA-n-oh)
Ultimate Talent: Actress
Voice Range: Medium - Low; she is a pretty cheerful character so it should be shown through her emotions.
Character Analysis: Meet the main attraction of the main event, Rina Kawano, the Ultimate Actress. Rina is the main protagonist of Danganronpa: After Despair. She is a very bubbly, outgoing kind of person. She prefers to wear simple clothing but will wear expressive, flashy clothing when the script calls for it or when she just feels like it. Even though she’s given the title “Ultimate Actress”, she tries to persuade people into calling her the “Ultimate Performer” since her mother was given the title of “Ultimate Actress” when she was in Class 65 of Hope’s Peak Academy. She also has to travel a lot with her mother because of her job which means her mother gets recognized by the people around her which causes Rina to get recognized, not by her own roles and what she’s performed in, but by what her mother has performed in, causing Rina to get more fame all because of her mother.
You’re probably wondering who I am, and I won’t hesitate on that. I don’t even know how I got into this school, but how could I say no to an opportunity like this. Anyways, my name is Rina Kawano, and today, I’m attending Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Actress.

Voice Range: Low; tends to be reserved to themself but not necessarily shy, extrovert.
Character Analysis: Meet Hideaki Fujioka, the Ultimate Gardener. A hard-working teen, Hideaki has been working in a garden ever since he was a little boy. He is a very influential teen, leaving an impact on so many young, aspiring workers who plan to work in the same fields he does, however, he is often a quiet man and prefers to keep to himself. He breaks out of his shell when he finds out that he’s been put into a killing game, set up by Monosnake.

Ultimate Talent: Soccer Player
Voice Range: High - Medium; much like Aoi Asahina, very energetic and always talkative.
Character Analysis: Meet Amelia Ivy, the Ultimate Soccer Player. Amelia is a very energetic person and loves to do anything that can get her to work up a good sweat. She is also a transfer student from the U.S. She’s been soccer ever since she was 3 years old and has been playing competitively for 10 years straight until she entered Hope’s Peak Academy. She acts very carefree and loves helping out others. If she ever feels threatened, she tends to stay on the defense if she ever feels in danger which is very rare.

Voice Range: soft medium; he is pretty soft-spoken and is pretty shy but can also get hurt pretty easily as well, but he can be pretty serious at times when he is working.
Character Analysis: Meet Rikuto Tanaa, the Ultimate Toy Maker. Rikuto is a professional teen who takes pride in his work. He never slacks off and always works on what he does until he’s satisfied with it. Rikuto is a very serious person and takes a lot of things very seriously. He doesn’t really get sarcasm, so he takes a lot of things personally as well. But past all that, he has a really soft heart. He can get emotional at the saddest of times and will care for anyone who really needs the support.

Voice Range: low; he is very harsh and cold towards others and doesn't show mercy.
Character Analysis: Meet Yoru Setsushi is a self-assured person who doesn’t care what others think of him. Nothing much is known about him except that he acts lowly and cold towards others when he feels threatened.

Voice Range: medium: similar to Junko, she is very sassy and tries to act bold, however, she can be very sweet.
Character Analysis: Meet Ryuu Watanabe, the Ultimate Internet Influencer. Ryuu is a world-renowned internet influencer on all forms of social media. She has spoken at multiple conferences, as well as speaking at different schools across Japan, giving speeches on loving yourself and standing up to bullying.

Voice Range: medium; very upbeat and very talkative.
Character Analysis: Meet Manami Kawaguchi, the Ultimate SFX Artist. Manami has a love for special effects and has had an interest ever since she was in grade school. She loved the concept of fake gore and how it would play out in a movie, whether it’s a thriller, horror, or straight-up slasher movie. She began pursuing her interest as soon as she got her first lessons in SFX when she was nine, and after that, she began to improve so much throughout the years that she even got to help out in makeup effects in a horror TV show series she used to love to watch.

Character Analysis: Meet Daiki Oshiro, the Ultimate Movie Director. Daiki may seem like a very serious person when you first see him, but once you get to know him, he’s a very kind and caring person. He got his title as Ultimate Movie Director by working with several movie casts, which led him to become the title as a movie director. His unique motives to help and support actors led to everyone loving him for what he does.
I'm sure you've of my name once or twice before, but if you haven't, I'm known as the Ultimate Movie Director, Daiki Oshiro.

Character Analysis: Meet Moriko Shimizu, the Ultimate Barista. Moriko is well-known for her creative liberty in creating latte art as well as the best coffee known in Japan. She plans to open up her own coffee shops all around the world once she graduates from Hope’s Peak Academy. Moriko loves what she does and loves spreading her ideas to other people, making her a very enthusiastic person to be around. Once the killing game gets announced, even though she’s horrified on the inside, she stays hopeful, praying that no one will actually fall victim to this horrific game.

Voice Range: medium - low: much like Leon, he is overall a pretty chill guy despite his appearance.
Character Analysis: Meet Kohaku Matsuoka, the Ultimate Percussionist. Kohaku has been drumming away ever since he was practically born. He is the very definition of “Live to the beat of your own drum”. He started playing drums when he was five, and after that, he just took off. He got into a popular metal band and played as their drummer when he was fifteen. A year or so later, he quit so he could attend Hope’s Peak Academy. There, he joined a band so he could relax a bit and play so he could play any auxiliary instrument he could get his hands on in a classical piece.

Voice Range: medium; much like Kirumi, she likes to tend to others' needs before her own and is very kind towards everyone.
Character Analysis: Meet Mamoru Sasaki, the Ultimate Hairstylist. Mamoru has extremely long hair, which at one point when she was younger, earned her the nickname “Rapunzel”. When she was just six years old, he began styling her own hair and got really got at it as time went on. She loved styling her own friends’ hair which earned her the title of the Ultimate Hairstylist, even before she turned nine years old. She has been admitted to join Hope’s Peak Academy even at such a young age.

Character Analysis: Meet Qin Mo Liu, the Ultimate Biologist. Qin Mo is a mysterious man and not much is known about his life and what he does. He claims that he has been chosen by Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Biologist, but nothing more is known of it. He is a very mysterious man and not much is known about his past.

He competed professionally when he turned eleven and has won multiple awards for his hard work and dedication. He was born and raised in Japan but spent most of his time traveling to different countries for the majority of his lifetime. Jiro has a very laid-back kind of attitude, which gets him mistaken for always being high, even though he’s just a very chill person. He always wears a Hawaiian type print shirt and he normally wears sandals.

Because of her laziness, she has gotten held back multiple times, making her the oldest out of the entire group. She finally got her break to get some major cash when she looked after the Ultimate Twins, Malachi and Michi Mizuki, who are both the youngest in the group for their intelligence.

He and his sister spend close to their entire time together, even sleeping in the same dorm room together during the Killing Game to ensure safety. He would normally read survival guides when he was a child because his sister wanted to run away and buy herself a kingdom.

Her and her brother spend close to their entire time together, even sleeping in the same dorm room together during the Killing Game to ensure safety. She sees herself as a “princess”, and that everyone should bow down at her calling. She believes she will grow up to be a queen of her very own bought kingdom.
