A $0 budget abridged series of the Ace Attorney Anime/Games.
Yes, it's a parody, and yes, it's an abridged series.
However, this could be good exposure for you as a VA.

Some roles may ask you to sound like a certain VA for a certain character from the dub or sub voices, but it's just there if you're struggling to come up with a voice for the character.
Having your own interpretation for the character is absolutely fine as long as it matches their abridged personality.
Requirements：
- A good microphone, with little to no background noise.
- A good ability to shout when the time comes.
- Auditions are to be done with minimal sound effects or music. We would like to hear your voice.
- You must have Discord! That’s where most of the management will be.
- Commitment to the series. This gonna be a long ride. And I hope it will be fun too.
- You can do up to three takes of each line.

The rival and long-time friend of Phoenix Wright. As a major character, Edgeworth plays a huge role in Phoenix's career, as well as the story as a whole.
You'll need to show his raw determination to get a guilty verdict in the role, as well as have a smart build and a well-established mentality. Miles has never lost a case (until now) so think like that.
He has a pseudo-English accent, and a rather deep voice. Check the anime (both Japanese and English Dub) for references.
Also, he's very rich. Just gonna throw that out there.
NOTE: Miles is an important character and thus will be in near every episode. Therefore, this role is very important to the series.

The spirit medium herself. She's quite a happy person and loves burgers. I honestly don't think there's much else to say.
(Normal) I'm pretty sure he did it, Your Honor.
(Cheery) Let's go get some burgers!

The bellboy from Turnabout Sisters, parodying Alfred Pennyworth from Batman.

A guy standing next to Detective Gumshoe. The photo says most of it.
I'm looking for a medium-low voice, with the keyword being "common sense".

(Trying to correct Gumshoe) I believe it's pronounced "pa-lin-drome". I think? I dunno.
(Normal) In other news, household pets have been reported recently to have been falling from the sky in Massachusetts.
(Awkward funny) I guess you can say it's... raining cats and dogs! [Laughs to himself]
The main character of Ace Attorney. A defense lawyer that is just starting to practice law. He is a bit more different than your average anime protagonist, but has a love for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
However, one key thing to note is that Phoenix has two personalities:
One, his normal self who loves to play SSBU and is a bit of a goofball, sounding quite cheery and more anime protag; and
Two, his serious lawyer tone in the courtroom where he is indeed very focused on doing the job. This is a very fierce voice where he has that determination and belief in his heart to win. Go for a more aggressive voice here.
NOTE: Phoenix is the main character and thus will be in near every episode. Therefore, this role is very important to the series.
Voice Type:
A bit of a blend between Funimation's Eric Vale from the anime, and from the 3DS games' English VA (Sam Riegel), yet adding a bit more immaturity and playfulness. Feel free to add your own interpretation.
(serious/aggressive lawyer tone)

So then came the 7th round, and the Byleth player did a down special. and I thought "Is he crazy?" but I accidentally panicked and used a shield instead.
But you know what? I… was able to parry it!

Listen, Mia. If there's anything you should know about me, it's four things:
One. I always press the statements.
Two. I always find contradictions.
Three. Fuck Dark Samus.
And four. Fuck Dark Samus.
The lead detective in the Ace Attorney games. He's a big guy, and does his job as good as he can (even though it's not that good usually) and has about the same budget as what you'll earn.
He's an overall loveable guy and is Edgeworth's right hand man.
Voice Type:
Boomy and a bit ruffly, but not too deep and not too ruffly, if you get what I mean.

The first villain. He seems to be an innocent witness, but is actually revealed to be the killer.
Actually, he's revealed to be a ninja.
Voice Type:
Pipy and cherry, but at the same time, suspicious and sneaky. He has that sly tone.
His ninja voice is literally a stereotypical ninja accent.

Like any good natured man in such a position, I looked inside. There lay the poor, poor woman, unmoving, DEAD.

Very well. I am Ninja Master who created the kick-in-the-nuts jutsu. I also killed the girl because they have no nuts to kick.
A witness in the second case in the series.
She could be considered rather sneaky and feisty, but is very charming, flirty and *cough*slutty*cough*.
For her voice, go for that of a *cough*sexy*cough* style that makes pervs stare and sane people cough.
At a point where Phoenix begins to break her testimony, go for a tougher, angrier tone.

An older prosecutor that is known as the "Rookie Killer" and is Phoenix's first opposition. Despite being the Rookie Killer, he lost the case quite easily.
He has a shrill, whiny, high-pitched voice that gets really irritating when he yells.
As a result, he tries to stay professional as much as he can but breaks easily.

(Do a high-pitched silent scream as if you got kicked in the nuts, for about 10 seconds.)

The presiding judge in the (entire) Ace Attorney series.
He is an old man with a shiny, bald head and a large, thick and white beard.
He has a deep, grovelly and boomy voice, but is quite a cheery person in general.
Just like Phoenix, the Judge is a recurring character in at least every episode so only audition if you are able to commit.
