This project resembles game dubbing projects, but is
designed as a “radio drama” (or radio play). It's based on the SquareEnix 1998
RPG, Xenogears. The project is meant for people who are visually impaired, and
will contain narrative portions that describe characters, scenery and actions,
which I will write.

I added a playlist for CHAPTER AND SCENE PREVIEWS. As lines are completed/submitted to me, I will edit individual scenes from any chapter for which all lines are available, and post them on a separate playlist. I am editing chapters 9 and 10, and individual scenes from any chapter. DELAY IS CAUSED BY DIFFICULTIES WITH BART ROLE.

One of the four "elements", elite soldiers under the command of Ramsus. They are associated with the elements of fire, water, wind and earth. Dominia, the fire element, is hot-tempered and aggressive and often gets into fights with Fei and co. She believes in the rule of the strong over the weak.
This is only for preview scenes that involve the elements and Fei's groups and/or Ramsus. Dominia has about 35-40 lines in those scenes. I'd like them to be completed in about 2 months, if possible.

I heard them talking about a Gear they recovered in Kislev that fit the description of Weltall. They said that they transported it to their capital, so I came here on the off-chance I might also find you here.

Elly is 18 years old. She's a soldier who is in the elite military organization Gebler, part of the military for the Empire of Solaris. She is the daughter of a high ranking officer and though high ranking herself she is sometimes rather uncertain of herself and her place in her world.

I am looking for someone to help me out with writing the narration scenes for chapters 16-30 while I revise the original 's dialogue for the remaining 20 chapters or so of the script.
INSTRUCTIONS (application task is after the instructions)
- You can sign up to any between 5 and all 15 chapters.
- someone who played the game already preferred but not necessary (I can always send additional instructions)
- I am looking for short, serviceable descriptions that summarize the characters, scenery and action in a way that is colorful/evocative but not too long-winded. Don't elaborate too much on the characters' feelings, for example; these will be tended to convey through dialogue. Likewise, don't overdo description for clothing or scenery. Your aim is to describe what's there for people who already played the game, so they can recall it.
This may seem simple, but in fact requires skill! You don't want to be TOO dry either. You want to use fairly diverse vocabulary in an effective manner.
-Look at chapters 1-10 (also called parts 1-2), posted on xenosd.wordpress.com, for example of how I wrote narrator scenes to describe characters and scenery. It would give you an idea of what I'm looking for.
TASK:
-For chapter 16, write 2 scenes: (look for the "NARRATOR TBD" portions)
1) the scene where Fei first meet Rico and his henchmen
2) any other scene that interests you.

The Yggdrasil flies from Shevat and lands in the meadows surrounding Nisan. Nisan is infested with Aveh soldiers, all standing watch or patrolling the street.
With the help of Fei and his colleagues, Nisan is freed from Shakhan's army.
However, the Fatima Jasper and the legendary treasures of the Aveh royal family are still in danger. Everyone gathers at the assembly hall, where they meet up with Sister Agnes to discuss the situation.Margie walks towards a wall. A panel with multicolored lights descends in front of her. She activates the panel and a metal door flips open, turning into a walkaway. The group enters. But everyone stops almost immediately when they spot several Aveh soldiers standing at the far end of the room.

Timeline: I will need his role for chapters 11-13 by November, and ch. 14-15 by mid-December. The rest of the script is also ready for him, and we can work on the timeline for that, with ch. 37-38 being a priority after ch. 11-15.

The main character of the game. I may have to split this part into 2 or 3 actors if I can't get anyone to commit to the entire project. His personality is that of: serious, conflicted, usually good-tempered.
Fei has the most line of any character; over 2,500 lines for the entire project. I will therefore accept someone who will commit to only 2 parts (about 10 chapters.) However, your role is VITAL to the story since I can't progress with editing until I receive Fei's lines. They just plan to improve the local defenses for now. Also, anti-Shakhan people have been gathering here... probably because they heard about what's going on.
However, the residents are starting to feel uneasy. People are taking refuge up north, in the mountains.
ENGINEER
The main engine and effect-fins' oscillators are mostly unharmed, Master Bartholomew.. but the electrical connections between them are fried. We’re bypassing the main connection and trying to scrape together all the energy we can. But it will only give us 70% of our usual maximum power at best. The propulsion-drills are not damaged, but if the sand can't be granulated they might as well be. We'll make battle speed 3... but only barely.

She usually works with the aggressive and hot-tempered Dominia, the element of fire, and is the voice of reason for the two. She looks calm but can be surprisingly ruthless in her philosophy on life, which she explains to Fei and Elly later in the story.
People must be able to stand on their own in any circumstances they find themselves in. Overprotection only stunts the will to be independent, and the growth of the people and the world. We've experienced that first hand. We should all live by our own strength, and stand on our own feet. It's the providence of human existence. It may be sad that the weak will be weeded out... but we cannot look back.
