Project Overview
What is "W.I.T.C.H."? (Wikipedia)
W.I.T.C.H. (stylised as W.i.t.c.h.) is an Italian fantasy comics series written by Elisabetta Gnone, Alessandro Barbucci, and Barbara Canepa. The series was first published by Disney Italy in April 2001 before the series was released in other countries. As of January 2005, W.I.T.C.H. has been released in over 65 countries. The final issue of W.I.T.C.H. was released in October 2012, concluding the series' 139 issue run. It is about a group of girls who find out they are the new guardians of the elements of Water, Fire, Earth, Air and Energy. The comics are drawn in line with manga conventions. They were subsequently adapted into an animated series, itself taking visual cues from anime.
The series tells the story of five teenage girls who are chosen to be the new Guardians of Kandrakar, protectors of the center of the universe from people and creatures who wish to cause harm to it. For this purpose, magical powers over the five classical elements have been given to them. The new guardians are Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin, whose initials form the title acronym "W.I.T.C.H.".
What are the requirements?
Audio Quality: I'm not picky. My casting decision will be based on performance. If you have a $3,000 microphone but the emotional range of a cornflake, I'm picking the person with the gamer headset that sounds like I'm hearing the character over a game of MW2.
My only request is that you try to keep background noise to a minimum.
Audio Format: .mp3 or .wav
Contact: I'll need a Discord tag so that I can contact you in the event that you land a part.
Enthusiasm: I want you to have fun with this project! It'll be my first time creating a comic dub and I would love to make some new friends while I do it!
Dedication: I need people who will be in it for the long haul. I plan to do most-if not all-of the series.

What happens if I get cast?
I will contact you to schedule a voice call with the other members of the cast/crew. If you miss a meeting, don't worry. I'll record it all so you can get caught up to speed. During the meetings we will be doing rehearsals, hashing out recording schedules, and getting to know each other. The Idea is to get as many members of the cast together as possible to record at the same time. This will hopefully make it easier for you to play off each other and easier for me to direct. If you can't make it to any of the group meetings and would like a one-on-one meeting/recording session with me, my schedule is pretty flexible.
Who are you?
I'm Nova. I'm an aspiring voice actor. In a market as competitive as this, you need to stand out from the competition. I don't think I do that yet, so instead of trying to fight my way up to my dreams, I'm giving myself a stepping stool with the W.I.T.C.H. project. It may not get me to the top, but it'll help me and others get just a little bit higher.

Updated Deadline
Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I'm going to be moving the deadline to January 8th so that auditionees will have a little more wiggle room for recording. Rushed auditions are never as good as the ones you take your time to get right. Will is a tomboy, but is also sensitive towards other people's feelings. She is known to have a fiery, and unstable, temper. Just like her mom. But she has the personality of a great leader. Her favorite subject is science, especially biology. Her hobby is swimming, and she's in Sheffield Institute's competitive team. She loves animals in general, but she is especially crazy about frogs. She collects anything that's frog related. Except the amphibian itself.
(frustrated) What do I gotta do to get to class 3A!
(irritated) As far as I'm concerned, I just want to forget today as soon as possible!
(embarrassed/shy) I always look scary! I've decided to try something new...
(reflecting) Maybe I spoke too soon... An elegant dress might not have been such a bright idea!

Taranee is a timid and reserved teenager. She can be a bit of a "goody-goody" at times and always tries to do what's right. Taranee is the most intelligent member of the group, and her favorite subject is mathematics. She loves photography, basketball, dancing, and classical music, but hates bugs except for butterflies, grasshoppers and crickets. When people toy or play with Taranee's feelings, she gets extremely angry and her powers increase drastically.
I'm looking for a chill, mellow, eyes-half-closed kind of voice that can still be expressive.
(Introducing herself) I had that same look two days ago. I'm new here too. My name's Taranee!
(whisper) Did you say "rigging the quizzes"?
(concern) Will! Do you feel okay?
(confusion) I don't really get what just happened!

Irma is a spunky, cheerful, optimistic, and humorous person. Compared to the other members of W.I.T.C.H., she is the cockiest member of the team and she often appears to be the least serious as she is known to crack jokes about almost anyone she comes in contact with. Despite her tendency to joke around when faced with a problem, she is a kindhearted person who cares about those she has relationships with. She can often be seen using her powers for personal gain. When necessary, she exhibits leadership qualities. Irma almost always wants to be center stage, and, depending on the person, can or can't hold grudges for long. She also has a big appetite.

Hay Lin is something of a free spirit: she's absent-minded, but at the same time extremely creative, talented and insightful when it comes to people around her. She loves to draw, paint, and sketch. It is no surprise that her favorite subject in school is art. She has a sense of humor rivaling that of Irma's. She can be considered a slight comic-alien geek at heart because of her love to collect comics and alien collectibles. She enjoys just about anything related to science fiction, air, or art. Her quirky style spills into dialect as well, with idiosyncratic expressions like "cosmic", "spacious" (in place of more mainstream options like: "cool") and "weirdific".

Cornelia is 14 years old, and the oldest W.I.T.C.H. girl. The eldest daughter of a high-class family, her father is Harold Hale, and runs a very successful bank. Her mother is Elizabeth Landon Hale, who looks almost exactly like Cornelia, and is very strict. As well as a younger sister named Lillian who is somewhat of a pain in the neck.
Cornelia is calm and normally friendly taking a leadership role in the group after Will. Cornelia comes off rather cold with boys, ignoring most and having a low opinion of them in general. She is a romantic at heart, however, believing love to be stronger than magic and willing to do anything for the one she loves. Cornelia loves ice skating and hanging with her friends. She hates the fact that her parents spend more time with Lillian than with her.
(amused) Controlling quizzes! She thinks she's a big shot, but she's just a beginner!
(teasing) That's strange, though. I thought Matt-ematics was your favorite subject...
(friendly) No worries! Not everyone in fourth class is like that.
(annoyed/yelling) Shut it, you little toad!

Elyon is a heart-warming, kind, and caring teenager. She is friendly and smart, however sometimes socially awkward, withdrawn and shy. Due to her young age, she is quite naive but her intelligence eventually leads her to the truth. She was born in Meridian, the youngest child and only daughter to Queen Weira and High Consort Zaden, and sole heir to the throne. However, after the disappearance of her parents, Meridianites named Galgheita (disguised as Mrs. Rudolph on Earth), Captain Miriadel and Alborn took her to Earth to protect her from her power-mad older brother, Prince Phobos, who had plans to steal her superior magical powers. For the next twelve years, she was raised there as a normal girl by Miriadel and Alborn under the aliases of Eleanor and Thomas Brown. She knew nothing of Meridian or her true identity.

He was entrusted with the task of finding Phobos’ lost sister, Elyon. To this end, Cedric opened "Ye Olde Book Shop" on Earth and adopted a false human identity named Cedric Hoffman.
