Stacey - Thesis Short Film
Project Overview
I'm in my 4th year of my Bachelors Animation Program, working on my Capstone Thesis film.
Synopsis:
Stacey (18F) gets a lot of anxiety from her parents fighting all the time and scolding her.
One night, after accidentally breaking a plate, Stacey shuts herself in her room to drown out her parents' yelling.
Her boyfriend, Luke (18M), pulls up on his motorcycle and persuades her to climb out her window. They go for a joyride.
They stop at a cozy central park. While Luke goes to get food, Stacey accidentally knocks over his motorcycle. She panics and freaks out over the bike, her anxiety returning.
To her surprise, Luke is gentle and forgiving, only concerned for her wellbeing.
Back at home, as her boyfriend rides away, she finds comfort in the thought of him.
