Space Trash (Working Title)
Project Overview
An asteroid tower and space debris collector named HYUGO, and his robotic copilot DOT, come across a recently destroyed ship with only one functioning escape pod. After he and his robotic companion bring the capsule and the sole survivor on board, they quickly discover that not only is there a huge communication issue, but more questions than they have time to ask. With a small group of attack A.I. now chasing all three of them, they are forced to travel together in their small cramped ship, whether they want to or not.
This audition is for a 24-30 minute pilot/proof of concept. This will be a live-action project/film but the character inquisition will be either a puppet or CGI. The lines for this character will be recorded in advance but re-recording may be needed after principle photography is completed to better seamlessly fit character lines and reactions in with each other.

D.O.T. is the loyal companion of her copilot and friend Hyugo a blue-collar working class space cleanup man. They both travel around and redirect asteroids and meteors, clean up space trash, and scavenge on occasion. The two are wildly underpaid and the ship is falling apart but is held well enough together to get the job done. DOT is a repurposed and reprogrammed drone from a long past human vs A.I. war that left a good part of the galaxy in shambles. Though DOT isn’t a threat anymore, it’s clear she still has some issues and plenty of bugs. She is generally positive and harmless but is more than happy to show her violent side.
