Deb will share her industry secrets with you and take you through a plan from beginning to end, showing you another side to the business that you may have not considered. This is a daunting industry. It's not just about having the right skills, getting a great demo and landing an agent! You have to know how to go after and find the work yourself - and there are not many who want to share. This is a great opportunity to learn from a talent who built her business from the ground up and continues to thrive in her career. She isn't going to wait around for it to happen, so join her for 8 intense weeks of research, development and growth and take your career to the next level.
Course Outcomes:
Conquering the job search: The traditional route of finding work is time tested, but also HEAVILY saturated. After this course, you'll have a clear understanding of how to adjoin the traditional track of being a voice actor with an outside the lines approach to keep you working for years to come!
A Brand and a Plan: You are your brand. You're also your own boss. Managing and balancing good marketing for yourself AND staying on track with your work are not easy tasks, but they are doable! By the end of this course, you'll be armed with the tools you need to present your best YOU to potential clients, as well as manage your work professionally & consistently!
Self Evaluation: It isn't always easy to look at our own work objectively. We're ARTISTS! We're either too hard on ourselves (most of the time) or too proud to notice the weak points (rarely, but it happens!). Whatever stage you're at in your career, by the end of this course, you will be able to look at your materials through a lens of clarity! Whether it's time to freshen up your website, know when its time for a new demo, or re-evaluate where a client interaction went sub-optimally, you'll be able to see yourself where you're at & tackle new challenges head on.
Being able to do a variety of unique voices can be a huge plus in your career and make you a must-keep for clients and studios.The ability to portray different characters and make them sound different enough that you can have them in the same scene and not sound like they are the same person is a skill that few have, but not something that can't be learned.
Course Outcomes: This course will help students find where they are in their confidence in the area of character voices, and will then help them stretch their boundaries and think outside the box. All this will hopefully help them start building a unique character library that they can better pull from for auditions and roles.

@davisionbyzero
Erin did a wonderful job voicing one of the characters in my game.
Not only she did a perfect delivery of the character, I also asked her to add a mild British accent to her and she did a wonderful job with that.
She even corrected some miss phrased sentences I sent her.
Her recording is clean and no need for additional processing.
She delivered a few sample lines immediately and once I approved them, didn't take her long to complete all the rest.
You can hear the results yourselves in the upcoming promo videos of my game Guards vs Goats, and later in the demo if you wish to give it a try.

@bossfightmedia
Erin is versatile, on time and very easy to work with. Communication is a solid 10 and if you need someone who can be molded into the clay that your main voice is made of, Erin is a solid pick. Corrective directions are taken professionally and get integrated quick. Absolutely recommended.

@kaiciu
Erin's acting is phenomenal, as is her quick response time, and she's passionate about VA in general. I would definitely suggest you work with her!

@Guy_McVoice
Erin was a pleasure to work with! Their lines were completed in plenty of time to a high degree of quality. Though it ended up not being an issue, they communicated a possible delay they had as soon as it became a possibility. I would highly recommended casting her and look forward to working with her again!

@necreom
It was a delight to play opposite of Erin. The depth of her character work was surprising. Erin brings her fullest potential to the job.

@kokoro_audio
Erin was the backbone of this entire project as our lead character, and she absolutely delivered. Her voice acting grounded the story and gave the other characters something solid to play off of. She understood her character from day one and maintained that through the whole story. She's exactly the kind of VA you want anchoring your project.
