Danna and Carey, two young orphans, follow a legend no one dares to question into Gleamlake's forbidden forest, chasing the truth behind the stories to find the mysterious forest guardian. As secrets surface and city's leaders close in, what if the forest was never the real threat?
We are looking for passionate,creative people to help bring Gleamlake to life! Whether youre a writer, artist, animator or storyteller, if you love animation and want to be part ofan exciting project, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a paid role.
We are an independent team, and our budget is currently limited, so payment is structured per storyboarded scene:
$8 per completed scene
Each selected artist will be assigned approximately 5/6 scenes, depending on workload and availability.
Payment details and exact scope will be discussed individually before starting.

We are currently looking for Storyboard / Animatic Artists for Gleamlake.
While this role is listed under “Animator” for visibility, please note that this position focuses on:
Creating storyboards (shot composition, camera movement, staging) / Producing animatics (timed sequences with rough motion, and acting) /Working closely with the director to shape scenes before final animation
!This is not a full animation role ,no polished frame-by-frame animation required.!

We’re looking for someone to help manage and grow the online presence of our animated film project Gleamlake (PocketHeart Studio).
Responsibilities:
Managing social media accounts (TikTok, YouTube & X)Posting updates about the project (art, progress, behind the scenes)
Helping develop a consistent visual and content style
Engaging with the audience and growing the communityYou’ll be working closely with the director and art team to present the project in the best way possible.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an early-stage animated film and help shape its public presence from the ground up.

This role is focused on maintaining consistency in story and tone across a collaborative writing team. You’ll be working closely with the director and other writers to develop the film from outline to full script.

Review and give feedback on scene ideas and drafts
Help refine story structure, pacing, and emotional beatsEnsure character consistency across all scenes
Organize and help connect individual scenes into a cohesive story
Collaborate with the director on narrative decisions and adjustments
Current Stage:
We are currently in early development, focusing on building a detailed scene-by-scene outline before moving into full scriptwriting.
Notes:
This is a collaborative and flexible role, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with a team, shaping ideas, and helping bring a story together rather than writing large sections alone.
