Smack Studio: Base Roster
Project Overview
Calling all fighting game enthusiasts and artists!
Smack Studio, a popular sandbox fighting game in Early Access on Steam is looking for talented voices to bring our roster of unique fighters to life.
We've recently added custom sound effects and are looking to expand our base of 8 characters with your vocal talent. This is an opportunity for grunts, shouts, exertions, and more to be featured prominently as characters battle it out in-game.
Please review the attached video showing off our character roster in action to get a sense of the fast-paced, hard-hitting fights you'll be voicing. We encourage you to get creative and bring your own signature style to the audition, this includes accents, pitches and whatever else you think would fit!
Smack Studio prides itself in allowing freedom of character creation, please use said freedom to voice the characters as you see fit.

High quality recordings are required, any audition with background noise or hissing audio will not be considered.

Lotus has a confident, cheeky attitude and isn't afraid to make sarcastic quips or call things as she sees them. She can be quite stubborn when she sets her mind on something. She tries to see the humor in situations and not take herself too seriously. However, she does have a bit of a temper and can get angered or frustrated when things don't go her way.

Kaien's fiery spirit lights his path to battle! He's a well-rounded shoto with a little more than most.
The wraps on Kaien's arms conceal burns from his intense training regimen. The name Kaien is derived from "kaen," meaning flame. But "kaien" also means start in Japanese. You can watch Kaiens gameplay and moveset by clicking here

Not fast enough
Cora sharpens her blades for battle! Born into the Galactic Reserve, she spent her life in combat training - but when her battalion suffered a crushing defeat, her injuries were severe. With death as her only alternative, she opted into an experimental procedure known as Computer-Operated Recombinant Augmentation, making her the first successful human trial, labeled CORA-1. Now, Cora is a deadly weapon who feels no physical pain- but her memories are lost.

Galvan is an small electric dragon, his voice incorporates animalistic sound effects like chirps, growls, and purrs, think baby pterodactyl.

Granite smashes into battle! Although peaceful, Granite proves to be a deadly foe when provoked. He's surprisingly agile with fists that pack a wallop.
Granite does not speak, but he is gentle and a protector.

EDIT AS OF 9/9/23: These auditions have been phenomenal and we would like to continue forward with a certain tone for Tate. We would like Tate to be somewhat piglike, think squeals, snorts, and grumbles with a range of shock and emotion
