RWBY Abridged Part 2
Project Overview
RWBY Abridged is a little project I plan to kind of reboot the series into something I can practice my directing skills and Audio Engineering skills. But of course I can't impersonate everyone so yes I need voice actors. A few of them have been taken already. These characters will include episode 4 but down the line I'll get more characters.
Mic quality is important as it will be held at professional level.
Impressions of the original series is not necessary I just need believable voices with perfect emotional investment. But also not a turn off.
As I want this to be professional I will pay my voice actors that partake in this project. I will pay in a per word basis.
Pay for all character here: .25¢ per word (100 words = $25) (However, a pay of $10 is minimum even if it doesn't meet the $10 dollar mark).
I will be creating a patreon to increase the pay so look forward to that as I plan to do at least 3 volumes. And each episode is kinda of expensive. So those that wish to see the series continue can pay y'all and I don't have to carry all the weight since yes, I'm in college.
Scripts for episodes 1-5 are done and episode one is done and uploaded. So as soon as this casting call ends we can hit the ground running since I want to run on a weekly schedule for line turn in.
Preferably people with a track record for voice acting but not necessary either I'm not gate keeping. Just show me believable acting.
Live directing might occure if there is something I want specifically. Or if there is some guidance required or you feel more comfortable having someone telling ideas for what to do.
Last thing is that you must be able to match lip flaps. Since I'm not editing the actual episodes, however I wrote the script to fit the lips but I'm not perfect so slight modification to the script might be necessary.

References are live
Now the reference auditions are up and ready to be heard. Now only use them for ideas its not for you to copy. You can copy a few things but I want to see if you can come up with something new. Surprise me. Also feedback start on Friday so everyone expect some criticism. Ive been a bit busy and I was going to start on Thursday but work got in the way and plus I had to the reference auditions lol. anyways hopefully you find them useful and good luck to you all. -
Need a point of reference?
Now I've heard all the auditions and well some are close to what I'm looking for. But I think we can get to the perfect voice if I actually do the audition myself and upload it right here to serve as a reference point or for you to build upon. Now I am a guy so it will be harder to translate to female for you all but it's something I can do to help. If y'all would like for me to do that, leave a comment saying yeah I wanna listen to your crazy self give it a shot. Then I'll do it. If not then don't say anything lol :)

She will retain her hyperness with the crazy personality of a psychopath. As she gets crazy her only chains in the series will be Ren which has the emotion semblance so it makes sense why she feels calm around him. So you need to laugh like a serial killer scream like a maniac and lastly have a knack for improv line creating to add depth to her. I'll help of course.

I can't wait to see all the bloodshed that will happen today. Well as long it doesn't include you. But you don't have to worry about me. I can handle myself. Although I knooow I'm not supposed to but I can't stop.

So Pyrrha... Oh man, well she will be drastically different, she will be a depressed celebrity that wants nothing to do with anyone. She wants to basically kill herself and is very suicidal. But she does not have the courage to kill herself so she enlist as a huntress so she can at least have an excuse to her death. But to a surprise she is very skilled in fighting so there goes that plan. I normally would not leak my characters story like this but since she has a touchy subject i didn't want to catch anyone by surprise to something they are not comfortable voicing. But I need emotions a lot of crying and screaming but she also a comedic relief too so don't mistake it for just a depressed character.
(talking about the cereal box) yeah it was cool but it ruined my entire life
(hanging from a tree) Jaune, I would switch with you… but...it wouldn't be enough to end it
(comedic line) don't worry she will cave one day
