Rocket League Anime Parody: Octane Triad Episode 1

Cochi: Is that all you three have to offer? You expect that weak resolve to change anything!? Not only are you all individually weak, you don’t know the first thing about working as a team! Only as a team will you have a chance at defeating the top 3! Now get up and come at me as a team! Or I can just find a different set of rookies who are ready!

コーチ：お前らそんなもんか？そんな弱くて何か変えられると思うか！？お前らそれぞれが弱いだけでなく、チームワークがまったくなってない！チーム一丸となってこそトップ3を倒せるチャンスがあるのだ！ほら、へこたれてないで一丸となってかかってこい！でなきゃ他に活きのいいやつを探すだけだ！

(Kochi: Omaera son’na monka? Son’na yowakute nani ka kae rareru to omou ka!? Omaera sorezore ga yowai dakedenaku, chimuwaku ga mattaku nattenai! Chimu ichigantonatte koso toppu 3 o taseru chansu ga aru noda! Hora, hekotare tenaide ichigantonatte kakatte koi! Denakya ta ni iki no i yatsu o sagasu dakeda!) 

Cochi: Good, now as for you two. Itonashi, and Hoshi. Itonashi you think you're just a loser do you, someone with no natural talent?

コーチ：いいだろう、それからイトナシ、ホシ。イトナシ、お前は自分のことをなんの才能もないただの意気地なしだと思うか？

(Kōchi: Īdarou, sorekara itonashi, Hoshi. Itonashi, omae wa jibun no koto o nan no sainō mo nai tada no ikuji nashi da to omou ka?)

Cochi: I won’t make it in time! Maybe these fools actually can do this.. Not bad. 

コーチ：間に合わない！こいつらなら本当にやりかねない..悪くない出来だ。

(Kōchi: Maniawanai! Koitsu-ranara hontōni yari kanenai.. Warukunai dekida.)

Takumi Shiro: Listen, all of you! I will not go easy on you! If you do not work as a team you have no chance against me! Now line up in your teams outside and prepare yourselves!

タクミ・シロー：聞け、お前ら！おれは手加減しない！チーム一丸となって来なけりゃお前らにチャンスはない！さあ、外で並んで準備しろ！

(Takumi shirō: Kike, omaera! Ore wa tekagen shinai! Chīmu ichigantonatte konakerya omaera ni chansu wa nai! Sā,-gai de narande junbi shiro!)

Takumi: He’s waiting perfect, try this out kid! Yuki-ga-furu daburu-suramu! (Snowing Double Slam).

タクミ：ちゃんと待ってるな、これをくらえ！スノーダブルスラム！

(Takumi: Chanto matteru na, kore o kurae! Sunō daburusuramu!)

Takumi: *inner voice* No way… impossible, a double tap at his level!? Hpmth *Smirk* *outward voice* That’s it! That is true strength! You 3 might just have what it takes to change this world!

タクミ：*inner voice*　まさか…ありえん、こいつのレベルでダブルタップだと！？ ふん　*Smirk* *outward voice* そうだ！これこそ本物の強さだ！お前らなら世界を変えられるかもな！

(Takumi: *inner voice* Masaka… arien, koitsu no reberu de daburutappudato!? *Smirking outward voice* Sōda! Kore koso honmono no tsuyo-sada! Omaeranara sekai o kae rareru kamo na!)

Narrator: Rocket League takes place in a world run by Octanes, prejudice and racism runs rampant. Other cars are treated as less than the Octanes. The Octane Triad, a team of 3 Octanes, dominates the world by staying at the top of the leaderboard. Those who are top 3 in the world make all the decisions for the entire Rocket World. Only those who have passed the supersonic legend exam have a chance at defeating them. The Triad has put laws in place to keep them in power. The sacred rule #1. If any car outside of an octane loses a match 3 times in a row, they must live a life of servitude to the Octane Triad or die. Can our heroes Hoshi, Kaito, and Itonashi rise through the ranks and defeat the Triad, resetting the world order? 

ロケットリーグは、差別や偏見がはびこるオクタンの世界で行われている。車はオクタンでなければ格下とされた。オクタン3台のチームであるオクタン・トライアドは、トップランクを維持することで世界を牛耳っていた。世界のトップ3が、ロケットワールド全体に対するすべての決定権を持つからだ。彼らを倒すチャンスがあるのは、スーパーソニックレジェンドテストを突破したものだけだ。トライアドは、権力を維持するための法を定めた。第一の掟。オクタン以外の車が対決で三連敗した場合、オクタン・トライアドに一生を捧げるか、死を選ばなくてはならない。果たして我らが

Narrator: Now that our heroes have reached Diamond 3, they are now ready to take the Champion exam. 

ナレーター：さて、我らがヒーローはダイヤモンド３に到達し、いよいよチャンピオンテストを受ける時がきた。

(Narētā: Sate, warera ga hīrō wa daiyamondo 3 ni tōtatsu shi, iyoiyo champion tesuto o ukeru toki ga kita.)

Narrator: With heavy hearts our heroes Hoshi, Kaito, and Itonashi move forward as Champions. Will they be able to overcome the next rank? Or will the darkness of climbing the ranks consume them? Find out next time!

ナレーター：我らがヒーロー、ホシ、カイト、イトナシは、複雑な気分でチャンピオンとなった。次のランクはクリアできるだろうか？あるいは上位ランクの闇に飲まれてしまうのか？次回に続く！

(Narētā: Warera ga hīrō, Hoshi, Kaito, itonashi wa, fukuzatsu na kibun de champion to natta. Tsugi no ranku wa kuria dekiru darou ka? Aruiwa jōi ranku no yami ni noma rete shimau no ka? Jikai ni tsudzuku!)

Crowd: Seriously!!!? This is impossible..

群衆：マジか!!!？そんなの無茶だ..

(Gunshū: Majika! ! ! ? Son'na no muchada..)

Random Team of Octanes: It’s impossible, he’s too strong.. And he’s a pathetic Takumi of all things! *Looks at the Hero Team* Heh you 3. You think you all have a chance? A dominus, an outcast prince, and you.. Who are you? What is that car? I’ve never seen a car like that.. Heh whatever you’re all screwed anyway. Especially you, dominus scum! 

とあるオクタンのチーム：無理だ、あいつは強すぎる..よりによってあのタクミの野郎とは！ *Looks at the Hero Team*　おい、お前ら。チャンスがあると思うか？ドミナス、私生児、そしてお前は..誰だお前？何だあの車？あんな車見たことないぞ。とにかくどうにもならねえな。特にお前みたいなくそドミナスはよ！

(Toaru okutan no chīmu: Murida, aitsu wa tsuyo sugiru.. Yoriniyotte ano Takumi no yarō to wa! * Looks at the Hero Team* oi, omaera. Chansu ga aru to omou ka? Dominasu, shiseiji, soshite omaeha.. Dareda omae? Nanida ano kuruma? An'na kuruma mitakotonai zo. Tonikaku dōnimo naranē na. Tokuni omae mitaina kuso dominasu wa yo!)

Random Octanes: Yeah.. whatever we were just leaving anyway.

オクタン：はいはい..さっさと行こうぜ。

(Okutan: Hai hai.. Sassato ikou ze.)

Goro Maldanado: Welcome Octanes and lesser cars! This is the champion exams! I congratulate all of you for making this far, but know that this is where most of your “dreams'' will end. Only 8% of cars pass this exam, and less than 1% of those cars are other than Octane. But please don’t let me discourage you! We could certainly use more slaves!

ゴロー・マルダナード：オクタンと低級車ども、ようこそチャンピオンテストへ！皆さん、よくぞここまで残りました。しかしほとんどの「夢」はここで潰えます。このテストに合格する車はわずか8％で、オクタン以外の車は1％未満です。それでも、私は歓迎していますよ！間違いなく私たちの奴隷は増えるわけですから！

(Gorō marudanādo: Okutan to teikyū-sha-domo, yōkoso champion tesuto e! Minasan, yoku zo koko made nokorimashita. Shikashi hotondo no `yume' wa koko de tsuiemasu. Goro: Now let me explain the exams! Each of you have come here in a team of 3. The exam will consist of 3 vs. 1 against our proctor Takumi Shiro. 

ゴロー：ではテストの説明をしましょう。皆さんはそれぞれ３台ひと組のチームで来ています。テストは、我らが試験官タクミ・シローと3対1で行います。

(Gorō:De wa tesuto no setsumei o shimashou. Minasan wa sorezore 3-dai hito-kumi no chīmu de kite imasu. Tesuto wa, warera ga shiken-kan Takumi shirō to 3 tai 1 de okonaimasu.)

Goro: Not so easy now is it? As a matter of fact every exam from this point on will include an opponent ranked one entire rank above the exam you’ll be taking!  

ゴロー：簡単じゃないでしょう？実際、これ以降すべてのテストで、そのテストより1ランク上の相手と対戦します。

(Gorō: Kantan janai deshou? Jissai, kore ikō subete no tesuto de, sono tesuto yori 1 ranku-jō no aite to taisen shimasu.)

Itonashi: No! He’s right Hoshi.., I’m just a loser, you should leave me behind before things get too serious..

イトナシ：ホシ、いいんだ！その通りだから..、意気地なしのおれなんかほっとけよ、手遅れにならないように。

(Itonashi: Hoshi, inda! Sonotori Da kara.., Ikuji nashi no ore nanka hottoke yo, teokure ni naranai yo ni.)

Itonashi: Ahhhhhh Hoshi, you’re right damn it! I did it again. I have to start believing, this isn’t just about me it’s about all of us.

イトナシ：あぁホシの言う通りだ！またおれの悪い癖が出た。自分だけでなく、おれたちみんなのために、おれは自分を信じなくちゃならない。

(Itonashi: A~a Hoshi no iu tōrida! Mata ore no warui kuse ga deta. Jibun dakedenaku, ore-tachi minna no tame ni, ore wa jibun o shinjinakucha naranai.)

Itonashi: Sensei, please let this work! Unmei Furikku! 

イトナシ：先生見ててくれ！フェイトフリック！

(Itonashi: Sensei mi tete kure! Feitofurikku!)
