Let's Play and Perform Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
Project Overview
Seeking adult actors for a Let's Play and Perform of Ninja Gaiden Ragebound. We will be playing through the game on hard for the true ending. Those who audition for Kumori will need to be relatively skilled at 2D action games. If you ever want to be an action or martial arts star, this will be akin to it in a virtual manner.
What is a "Let's Perform" ?
They are akin to cold reads and table reads. They are done for fun and for practice(acting and being a professional, real names are required for credits), basically to provide an English dub when the game has either no voice acting or voice acting in another language. The performances are live-streamed to Twitch and uploaded to YouTube for archival purposes. The game's screen is streamed to Discord for participants to read their character lines, while the game is played.
Although this is technically voice acting, my approach is more akin to screen and stage acting due to the live aspect and the mandatory requirement of having cameras on for Discord. This is so you can look at your scene partners and deliver your lines to them. You will be recorded on camera as a sort of behind the scene video and for memorable moments. If you're a voice actor, I still encourage you to apply if you're interested. However, those who are only here to line hunt are not recommended.

Through Parsec (a free application where one connects to another computer), participants will be able to control their characters. So those auditioning for a playable character will need to be able to do their own "stunts." A controller is highly recommended for this game.
When Are the Streaming Sessions?Sessions will typically be on Saturdays at 11:30 PM EST. Each session lasts roughly two hours. First session is planned for Saturday, May 16th at 11:30 PM EST.
Please understand that when you're commit to this project, you will commit to showing up. If you will be absent, please let me know in advance. Unexplained absences or last minute cancellations due to events within your control are not acceptable. If you have a variable work schedule on Saturday night or health conditions, this will not be a good project for you. You will be required to fill out an availability time sheet every week so I can determine if a session is possible that weekend.

PLAYABLE CHARACTER.
A skilled, young kunochi of the Black Spider Ninja Clan. Kumori often shows a slight maverick attitude in her pursuit of new techniques. Her fighting style is ruthless and she doesn't hesitate to use whatever it takes to win a battle. She's confident, self-assured and has a dry, sardonic personality. She shows little fear or respect for enemies of her clan. Also loves cell phones, streaming, cars, and computers.
Need a strong, confident actress who has an indomitable spirit - Kumori's gameplay sections can be challenging(see example:https://youtu.be/W3q-q42smQo) and you will fail often. Those who don't shy away from challenges will be well suited. Candidates will play a small challenging section of a video game as part of the interview process (also to test your Parsec connection).

He usually speaks in profound bursts of wisdom, even sometimes looking down on his enemies.

Highly disciplined and a skilled ninja warrior, Jô constantly trains to attain greater power. He is wise and battle hardened from having fought many battles in his lifetime.
