Pedestal - Short Film - VOICE ACTORS NEEDED
Project Overview
I am in heavy need of some short-notice voice actors for a film I'm producing for my University class about a presenter that suffers with her 'demons.' The main has already been sorted, but I need a major and two minor roles as well! The picked people will be paid accordingly and will be featured in the credits. Please note that I will need the said chosen people to work quickly and be easy to keep in contact with. The film is only two minutes, and there are approximately 20 lines for the major role and one for both minor roles, but I naturally have to work with deadlines and I constantly have production meetings with my lecturer to show progress. Please keep in mind that a British accent is strongly preferred.
I've got until the 11th of May to actually finish animating the film, but I'll need the audio as soon as possible; I apologise for the short notice but I've just finished animating the beginning and I'll need to move on to animating with audio very soon. The finished film will not be immediately put online; as it may be featured elsewhere and there's an instant disqualification for it being aired if it's put up publically on social media. I will upload the video privately on Vimeo until then and the said voice actors will have a password to view it for themselves until I can make it public. I'd be more than happy to show a preview if you want to know what you're working with, and I will be online every day to check progress. Thank you so much!

Hi guys! I haven't died! I'm just posting an update to let you all know that due to the coronavirus pandemic, my University has decided to push my deadline forward 2 weeks, so it's now due on the 25th and not the 11th. Thank you!

Voice Actors Casted! (05/03/2020)
To the people who got the roles, congratulations! I shall be in touch soon! I still would once again like to thank everyone for their support and auditions. I will still be posting updates, especially when the film is able to be released. I'd love for you guys to keep in touch as I'll still be around possibly helping other people with their projects as well! -
Deadline shortened by a week. (02/03/2020)
So I've been given feedback by my lecturer; she's just as thrilled as I am from your activity! I will have to work quickly and move some content forwards; such as polishing my own audio for example; if I manage to get my own audio and everyone else's sorted by the end of the month then I can move really quickly. Due to the fact that there has been a ton of auditions and I have a brief idea as to who may be featured, I've shortened the deadline by a week with two-day notice; if anyone still wants to audition, they can by Wednesday. Thank you so much for your consideration! -
Over 100 auditions! (28/02/2020)
There has been an incredible response to this casting call and the support has been brilliant, thank you all so much! Please note that it may take me a while to get round to listening to everyone's auditions due to this. If I've responded to your submission with a thank you, it means I have listened to it! I will listen to everyone's again when I decide to pick the roles, so I assure you that everyone gets the same chance to be heard. I will be getting a production meeting with my lecturer on the 2nd of March, so any choices to do with shortening or lengthening the deadline or choosing any roles will be announced sometime then. Thank you again!
The title says it all, a demonic monster with the ability to form and change and intimidate its victim. Voice is meant to be various vocal range, it can go from medium to deep. You can use special effects if you want, just make sure that you're able to be heard!
You gotta say something… how long you think you got before they all think you’re a freak?
But what you gonna do, tell them the truth?
You really are a sad pathetic disappointment. No one likes you. No one’s ever liked you!
An overly-blunt heckler. We've all had one of these in the classroom.
We can't hear you, speak up!
Ooookay, Shawn. It’s your turn.
