Notebook is an upcoming psychological horror yandere game.
Akatsuki Osaki (The protagonist) has been bullied and mistreated most of her life, no one has ever seemed to care that much about her.
Her mother died when she was younger, her mother was exactly like her. Her father hated her because she reminded him of her, she was never good enough for him.
The only person who ever seemed to care for her died in front of her own eyes, and she had been blamed for his murder by her own family and friends.
After the incident, she became very close with his sister. She gave her the love and affection that no one else dared to. She was kind to her and made Akatsuki feel special.
She found herself getting jealous whenever she saw this girl with another person, she couldn't bare seeing her with someone else.
She now realized what her mother meant, she now realized how her mother felt, and she now realized the connection between the two of them.
She loved this girl, not in a way she had ever felt before. She adored this girl, she knew she was the one she needed to protect from other threats.
Will she win her heart?

Akatsuki is quiet and serious, she's manipulative and shy. Whenever she's around Junka, she feels more calm and relaxed. But otherwise she's usually pretty stressed and timid.
Akatsuki is the protagonist of this story! She is the main character, and she is very socially awkward. She tends to stutter when trying to say stuff quickly or when she gets heated. But aside from that, she has always been quiet and passive. Akatsuki seems to have a strange aura to her, always hanging out with Junka every chance she gets and seeming off whenever they give more attention to someone else, always writing in that notebook of her's...Akatsuki is 16 years old and is pretty average for her age, grade-wise. Nobody knows what has happened in her life, and some spread rumors about it.

(Calm) Ah, cat. You have an easy life, though I do pity you for having Akari as your owner, my sister is a witch.
(Nervous and shocked) S-Stalking? I'd...never stalk someone! I just...recently joined the Research Club and needed some photos for the Newspaper Club; someone asked me to get them some photos of Junka, so I did.
(Lovely and calm) Junka...I can't believe that you feel the same way! I love you, Junka!
Kokoro is the mother of Akatsuki, she is manipulative and smart. She sounds annoyed most of the time but puts on a lovely dovey voice around Kishimoto.
(Like yandere like??? Calm and whispery voice) Kishimoto...Where are you, darling? Don't keep me waiting. I've already cooked dinner! *giggle*
(Annoyed) Well, if you must know. The student council asked If I could get a picture of Kishimoto and Aika to update the current files on them. Does that answer your question?
(Lovely and eagar) Oh, Kishimoto! We'll be together forever! I can't wait to start our lives together!
Junka is a sweet teenage girl, she's a minor celebrity and does modeling.
She sounds calm and kind and is wise and a good person for advice.
She is good at making friends and loves supporting the ones she has the best she can.
She is Akatsuki's crush.
(Calm) Oh, hey Hiroko! How have you been? You look really pretty today!
(Shocked and disgusted) Akatsuki...? What's wrong with you! I can't believe you would do something like that! I trusted you...
(Calm) I love you, Akatsuki. I will always be there for you. No matter what happens.
Kishimoto is Akatsuki's father and Kokoro's crush/husband.
He's charming and gentle and is a nice person to be around. He cares a lot for his peers and finds himself falling in love with a certain girl.
(Nervous) Oh, hey, Kokoro! Wow, You look beautiful today...
(Confused)Ugh, where am I...? Uh- Kokoro? Where am I?!
(Annoyed) Seriously? What the hell is wrong with you, Kokoro? I thought you were better than this.
Hiroko is a sweet and bubbly girl who can sometimes seem airheaded but is quick to learn things. Hiroko first discovered that she was lesbian at a young age but pushed it aside due to her family's constant homophobic comments. She'd constantly try to feel attraction to men, looking at magazines, tv clips, modeling, but nothing made an attraction spark.
When she found herself developing a crush on one of her female classmates, she would constantly try to follow her around and befriend her. However, her classmate found her weird and creepy - leading her to spiral into a depression and question her sexuality even further. She forced herself to go on dates with guys her age, making her depression even worse. She didn't want to leave her room for a long time and couldn't even find a purpose to get out of bed in the morning.
On top of her depression and self-hatred, she comes from a wealthy and high-profile family. She's expected to show up at parties, meetings, and business proposals. With all of the stress from school, her family, and other things in her life, she has a hard time finding a reason to live.
When she met Junka, she was one of the only people who really seemed to connect with her, she treated her kindly and was a friend to her. Hiroko constantly follows her around and talks to her, leaving her romantic anonymous notes on her desk, and writing short songs about her at home. She'll often make her snacks and food and be very clingy because she's one of her only friends and she's afraid to lose her.
If she were to enter a relationship with Junka, she would be extremely clingy and would still have the fear of her leaving her. Though would feel a lot better mentally. She would have to be in a relationship with her secretly, because of her family's opinion on the LGBTQ+.

(Confused) Oh, Akatsuki. Your note stated that you knew something about me, and needed to talk to me about it? What is it?

Hiro is Akatsuki's stalker, he is in love with her.
He doesn't have much of a social profile, he constantly stalks girls but he's found himself falling in love with Akatsuki.
He is forceful and rude and thinks highly of himself.
He is the 2nd rival in Akatsuki's mode.
(Calm) You're just so pretty, Akatsuki. I adore you.
(Angry) What the hell? GET BACK HERE YOU BITCH!
(Annoyed) Oh? Is this Junka girl better than me? I've given you so much. You're greedy.
Kaori is trying to join the student council and will join the student council in the next following weeks if you eliminate her peacefully.
Kaori is a preppy and graceful girl who pushes herself to act and look perfect. In doing so, she develops problems and has a hard time with self-love and confidence. One of the only things that makes her happy is her passion of makeup and hair styling, so she'll often post videos online of her tutorials. She wants to join the student council to improve her reputation further and become an even more desirable girl.
She is Junka's childhood best friend, and she really dislikes Akatsuki.
She wants to be with Junka because she makes her feel like she doesn't have to pretend around her. If they were to enter a relationship, Junka would convince Kaori to stop worrying about what others would think and would comfort her. In effect to this, Kaori would start to act more like herself slowly and would decide to not join the student council.
Kaori attended the school along with Junka and Akatsuki when they were in middle school but moved away due to her parents' divorce. Eventually, her mother gained back custody, so she moved back to Japan with her mother and started attending the school again.

(Annoyed) Huh? Why do you need to know? If you're so interested in my personal life, then yes. I am interested in joining the student council.
(Calm) I love you, Junka! You're like sooo great!
Akane is trying to join the student council.
Akane is Akatsuki's step-sister.
After Akatsuki's mother died, her father remarried.
Akane was jealous of Akatsuki and desperately wanted to be better than her.
She blamed her for her own accidents and made her look bad.
She was the favored child and was the only was actually shown real affection.
She is annoying and stubborn.

(Calm) Hey, Junka! You look so great today, wanna go get a snack?
(Annoyed) Well, would you look at that? I've won once again, Akatsuki. I am way better than you will ever be.
(Eagar and scared) I know who killed her, I know this may sound like, surprising but...It's Akatsuki! Ever wonder how Hiroko being a lesbian got exposed to the internet? And how Yua was bullied so much because of some fake gossip made online? It was because of that witch!
Yua is the Photography club leader.
Yua is a brave and bold girl who wants to prove that women can be just as strong as men.
She enjoys spending her time taking photos and writing in her diary.
