Nati Bee Studios: Ava's Demon Re-Dub, ODIN VA NEEDED
Project Overview
Hi, I'm Nati Bee, main director & audio editor of my YouTube channel, Nati Bee Studios, a channel that specializes in voice acting and comic dubs.
After almost three years since the initial dub on the PShattuckProductions channel, we're finally taking another stab at our most aspirational series: Ava's Demon.
Ava's Demon is a lovely online comic with a stellar artstyle, likeable characters, and a fascinating story that only gets better as more pages are added. This casting call was created to find a new voice actor for one of the main characters, Odin Arrow.
If you are:
- Willing to be live-directed
- Able to yell/scream
- Ready to participate in a long-term project
- Prepared to work with other voice actors
This could be the role for you!
Some additional guidelines:
-Please introduce (slate) only your name / alias at the start of the file.
-Do not add any processing such as compression to your auditions beyond basic editing; noise removal is acceptable. Phone, laptop and headset microphones are not encouraged. Please record in an area free from as much background noise and reverb.
-You will be required to have a Discord account to ease directing
-Please include your time zone in your additional audition notes.
OPTIONAL: You may choose to submit a demo reel alongside your audition. This demo reel may either be attached in MP3 format or linked to (i.e. Soundcloud).

Odin is a 17 year old with more responsibilities than he can handle. His eldest brother is a manipulative sociopath, his planet is falling apart, and he's been given the task to not only find the vessels of powerful entities (like himself), but also find his missing sister. Being a vessel isn't fun, the "demon" in his head constantly berates him and desperately orders him to find his wife, which Odin occasionally silences by smoking his pipe.
Odin speaks with a noticeable stutter, but he isn't an anxious character. He tends to come across as strange, sarcastic, and mysterious to the other protagonists, but has some comedic moments despite his semi-serious nature.
