Hey Guys! So this is Avatar: the Last Airbender Abridged Casting Call! Now obvious disclaimer but I do not own anything except for my own voice! Now then there are some rules for this casting call!
> A good sounding microphone is absolutely required. I will not accept a submission with a bad sounding microphone.
>I need voice actors that are dedicated; if we lose voice actors it will be a major issue.
> Must have Discord. A Youtube channel is not required but is recommended.
>Please be 18+. I am uncomfortable working with people below the age of 18 as there will be swearing, sexual jokes, and adult humor. This is a personal preference.
Now then! a little bit about the project! This is currently a one episode one shot. I am unsure how well the series will do, but if there is enough interest then I am more than willing to continue past a single episode. But go into this project with this being a single episode one shot in mind.

Auditions are now officially close and I will be taking some time to cast the right fits! I expect this to take a couple of days! Again thank you to everyone.
Hey guys! Firstly I wanna thank everyone who has auditioned so far! I am gonna be honest, I did not expect so many auditions for this project. I have been listening to the Auditions so far and I am really liking what I am hearing! There are so many talented voice actors and actresses auditioning for this project and I am so thankful to everyone who has taken the time out of their day to audition! Anyways, just a quick update that I am currently writing the script for episode 1, the one shot. I am calling it episode 1 in case I do end up going past a one shot. And it's going well! But yeah, keep up everything you guys are doing and again, thank you so much!
Avatar Aang is the main character of Avatar: The Last Airbender abridged. The rough idea I have is that Aang was kind of sheltered. The Air Nomads were like a gated community almost, not really interacting too much with the folks outside of the air temples. So Aang will reflect this.
The type of voice I am looking for is a child one. He is 12 years old so he will sound like a kid.

Well, I am not sure where I am, but do you wanna go penguin sledding? (Light Hearted)
Now Katara is one of the main supporting characters of the series. How I am envisioning her character is that she is 100% a kind girl who has anger problems. This is mostly because her dad basically left for war and she from a young age was responsible for all the chores around the house while her brother from her point of view was left with nothing but to play soldier. She also really doesn't have anyone around her age to talk to, everyone else is either much older or much younger. So she is low key kind of desperate.
You're an Airbender!?! (Say rather surprised)
So Aang, how old are you? (Ask like you are trying not to act too desperate for a friend your age.)
You know What Sokka! I had to do all the fucking cleaning while dad was gone at war! And what have you done, nothing but play soldier with the little kids! (Act very angry as you basically have had to take care of the house while your dad was gone.)
Now Sokka is a rather complicated character, plagued by responsibility. When his father left, he tasked Sokka with protecting his sister and the village. As Sokka is the oldest Male in the village due to the rest being at war he is very over protective of his sister and the village. He is trying to train the younger boys in how to fight, with what little his dad taught him before he left.
What is this a weapon? You can't stab people with it??? (Act like you are being hyper critical of aangs staff)
Giant Light beams, Flying Bison, Air benders. Yeah I have the Midday sun maddness. Ima go dunk my head in the water to try and cool down. (Act super casual as you feel like you are realizing you might be going low key insane.)
Katara, you don't understand the kind of pressure I am under! With dad gone I am the only warrior our tribe has left to defend our village! (Act defensive as you are kind of offended)
Gran Gran is the grandmother of Katara and Sokka. She is Sassy, as who do you thin Katara and Sokka get it from? (Note that Gran Gran will not be in the show for too long. So if you wish to stay after you finish voicing Gran Gran we will find you another character to voice!)
You are the first Airbender we have seen. We thought they were extinct. (Act as if you are saying something super obvious. Like of course we are surprised to see an airbender.)
Katara, your brother is...well he has a lot of pressure from your father. Cut him some slack. (Sound more carrying this time, but again you are kinda tired of these two fighting.)
Uncle Iroh is one of the main recurring antagonists, then supporting characters in the show. He follows Prince Zuko, trying to lead him down the right path.
Prince Zuko, you need some sleep. (Act like you are being serious and basically trying to tell your nephew he needs to get some rest.)
It's just the celestial lights, we have been down this road before Prince Zuko. (Act like you aren't taking prince Zuko seriously, and trying to focus on your Pai Sho game.)
