Misadventures of Miss Silver - Chapter One

Misadventures of Miss Silver - Chapter One

Project Overview

Hello again!
This is the new casting call for Misadventures of Miss Silver! We've opened a casting call for the main characters of the game a while ago.
We'll leave the demo link here, just in case:
https://atticsalt.itch.io/silver

The characters that we've listed here are only the supporting and the minor ones. They won't have many fully voiced lines in-game. Basically, there are some voices for certain expressions.

Let's have a talk about the game, shall we?
-Miss Silver is a game which is currently in development stage. We assume it'll end around the end of summer. However, since this is the casting call for the first chapter of Miss Silver, we assume that we'll decide on the lines around the deadline.
-We aim to make Miss Silver a partly voiced visual novel. By 'partly', we will be needing some of the full lines, plus some voices for certain expressions. If you've ever played Danganronpa or Dream Daddy, I'm sure you're accustomed to what kind of voice acting it is.
-If you have any questions, feel free to let us know. We were extremely busy the previous time and we think that we'll keep the site more updated than before.

Jindrik Chalupnik is a strict hotel owner who has named the hotel after his daughter.
He's the kind of person to spoil his child.
He talks in a strong manner.

  •  “It’s Hotel Pavla for you. We’ll be preparing everything even if only one person is residing in the hotel.”

  • “You can’t find any hotel which has hired bellboys at this time of the year. We’re offseason.”

  • “Silver. You either do your job instead of arguing with children, or you’re sleeping at another hotel tonight.”

Zivan Skoda is a detective who doubts everything and everyone. He isn't friendly.

He's a stoic man who cracks a laugh at the most macabre things.

  • “There shouldn’t be any secrets between the bureau workers. Makes me wonder, why is Kharat sending you here and there for ‘special’ cases?”

  • “Look, Silver... You can’t just brush my question off like that. It doesn’t answer to any of my suspicions.”

  •  “Didn’t think you’d be this willing to cooperate.”

Vilem Skoda is the cook in Hotel Pavla. He is an upbeat man who likes to diss at his cousin, Zivan.

He talks in a sympathetic manner -if he's not annoyed- and is very sociable.

  • "You don’t have to be that formal all the time, there are only seven people at the hotel. We should get used to each other!"

  • “Really? Vodnik? Wasn’t that just a folk-tale to scare off children..? Are you maybe scared of some mythological creature?”

  • “Silver, does that give you any permission to blow his door up?!”

Branka Vrubel is the maid of the Hotel Pavla. She is a calm and collected woman.

She's very kind to customers. However, she's also the kind of person to yell if you're entering the room with muddy shoes.

  • "It looks like Mr. Skoda doesn’t want his privacy to be invaded by me, he yelled quite a bit when I went in to clean the place up.  Though I understand his sensitivity about the subject."

  • “Oh... Now that sounds like a story I would like to hear."

  • “Vilem, isn’t it a bit rude of you to call them without any honorifics?!”

A shop-owner who is a Vodnik (mythical creature).
He is currently selling pots and dolls for ghosts and various spirits.
He never had good relations with people, only with his daughter Ana. He loves his work.

He is usually unimpressed and talks in a semi-monotone way.

  • "Oh. It's a surprise to encounter a human here. Such an unasked customer."

  • "Bewildering. This is my first time seeing a knowledgeable human."

  • "Sure, you're buying a body for yourself after all. It ain't easy. No ghost who's content with possessing as old street lamps or cheap teapots will visit here in the first place."
