Kingdom Hearts Manga Dub Pt1 Casting [STILL THINKING FILMS COLLAB]
Project Overview
STILL THINKING FILMS has brought us on board to direct their upcoming KINGDOM HEARTS MANGA series. They intend to dub the entirety of it, one episode per month. STILL THINKING FILMS has a good track record of getting projects out as well as huge subscriber base, so this will be seen by a lot of people.
You must have at least a decent mic and you must have or make a Discord account.
The vocal performances for the Disney characters must maintain a sense of familiarity, while being able to create new performances that fit the story the KINGDOM HEARTS manga is trying to tell with sincerity.
You will be committed to the characters for as long as their respective Disney world with the Disney villains getting some brief reoccurring appearances. This time we will be strict with deadlines, but we're willing to negotiate for extended deadlines.
If we ever get to future Kingdom Hearts manga, characters that return (namely characters from the movie Aladdin and Belle from Beauty and the Beast, off the top of my head) will be asked for their availability to reprise, but we'll cross that bridge if we get there. Xemnas will need to reprise his role in Kingdom Hearts II and Days, should we ever get to that point. Lastly, please be respectful and have fun!
If you want to check out our friends at STILL THINKING FILMS, they are in the process of releasing their Advent Children Complete dub!

Kingdom Hearts project has been frozen
I failed to update about this project, I apologize. The Kingdom Hearts project has been frozen for awhile now, until I see something from the producer themselves. Once I see some genuine work done, I will restart it and let editors know about it. I apologize for the silence. -
One more deadline
voiceofidan - Hercules RenKunofPalmier - Phil True_Blue - Genie / Cid Highwind We're slowly starting recording through episode 3 & 4 for the Disney characters first that way we have everything once the leads finish their parts. I've decided to keep Aladdin, King Triton and Geppetto open for a bit while longer. The latter two need more auditions. I will be putting up Peter Pan next week when I'm not busy. -
More Cast Announcement
Made my decisions from the last deadline. wickedlyelphie :: Pinoc / Jasmine / Lost Boys TifaLockhart :: Ariel GoldenUnlimited :: Flounder / Lost Boys The last batch of characters will be decided on next week on the deadline. Episode 1 is currently waiting on our last batch of lines. It will be reviewed and hopefully it'll be out soon. There will be another casting call that will be open that'll be asking for editors, script writers and the works for future episodes. For those looking for potentially paid work, be on the look out. We need people to make this project a reality. -
More Cast Announcements in the Weekend
Busy at the moment to make any casting announcements besides the ones I'm sure of. However, I've decided other certain characters (besides Jasmine) have enough auditions and I have closed them for now. If I don't come up with a decision, I will open them again. However, the rest of the characters that are open still need auditions. I recommend auditioning for those if you can! Episode 1 is close to completion. Will be updating with that soon.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what wouldn't be, it would. You see?
Oh, dear. I am having a bit of trouble in this curious place. You see, I've lost my favorite ribbon. This one that I'm wearing is nice, but I really would rather have the other back. I don't suppose you could help me find it? You will? Oh, thank you! I wonder if perhaps I dropped it at the tea party.
Of course! I've done absolutely nothing wrong! You may be queen, but I'm afraid that doesn't give you the right to be so...so mean!

Due to his small size, the only way to enter him is to drink from a special bottle of multi-flavored liquid that will shrink the drinker in size. The drinker also needs the key to unlock the Doorknob which is located on the same table as the liquid. He tends to be quite the jokester.
"Phew. Quite alright. But you did give me quite a turn. Rather good, what? Doorknob? Turn? (laugh) Well, one good turn deserves another! What can I do for you?"
"No, impassable. Nothing's impossible. Why don't you try the bottle on the table? Read the directions and directly, you will be directed in the right direction."

"I happen to be a wizard! A soothsayer! A prognosticator! I have the power to see into the future - centuries into the future!"
"I'd-I'd even been there, lad. And I'd seen all these things. They're only plans and small models, of course, y'know. (nervous laugh) Now this for instance is a steam locomotive."

"Why, I'm sorry, sir. I don't have any money. [threatened] Please. I-I-If you let me go to the palace, I can get some from the Sultan."

Aladdin is the titular protagonist of Disney's 1992 animated feature film of the same name. A former street rat from the city of Agrabah, Aladdin spent much of his youth scraping for food and ducking guards with his monkey sidekick Abu. Though sanguine, Aladdin's poor upbringing left him with severe insecurity, making him feel worthless and undeserving of love, specifically that of Princess Jasmine. He nevertheless sustained a heroically selfless deposition, which in turn made him entitled to a magic lamp concealing a wish-granting genie.
"Wow, the palace looks pretty amazing, huh? I wonder what it'll be like to live there? Have servants, valets. Heh. It's better than here. You're always scraping for food and ducking the guards. Sometimes you feel so...trapped.

Phil is a crotchety, old Satyr (half-human, half-goat) who served as a trainer of heroes in Ancient Greece—most notably, the powerful demigod, Hercules. Although he has a big heart, Phil is easily annoyed. He dislikes and becomes angry at others who ignore him or refuse to grant him respect. When not busy training heroes, he spends his time watching beautiful women and flirting with them, only to usually face rejection. He also has a rare condition called Pica, characterized by eating things that are not considered edible. For example, Phil eats a bowl (without fruit) and flowers. This is probably due to him being half goat.
"Too heavy? Since when have you been such a little...oh wrong guy. What are you doing here? This here's the world's famous coliseum. Heroes only. And I got my hands full preparing for the games. So run along pipsqueaks."
Kid, you're missing the point! She don't love you! She's nuthin but a two-time, no good, lying, scheming....! Ok. Ok, that's it. You won't face the truth? Fine.

Hercules is the titular protagonist of Disney's 1997 animated feature film of the same name. The son of Zeus and Hera, Hercules was stripped away from his home on Mount Olympus and turned mortal by his evil uncle, Hades, though he maintained his immense strength. Under the guidance of Zeus and tutelage of Philoctetes, Hercules would embark on a journey of self-discovery to prove himself a true hero and reclaim his place amongst the gods.
Despite his incomparable power and fame throughout Ancient Greece, it wouldn't be until his chance encounter with the femme fatal, Megara, that Hercules would come to understand the true measure of a hero.
"(laughs) Did you see that? Next stop - Olympus! I am ready, I wanna get off this island. I wanna battle some monsters. (grunts) Rescue some damsels. Y'know? Heroic stuff."
Father...this is the moment, I've always dreamed of. A life without Meg...even in a mortal life, would be...empty. I...I wish to stay on Earth with her. I finally know where I belong.

Named by Walt Disney[1], Pluto is very unique for a character in Mickey's world, in that he is not anthropomorphic beyond showing a broad range of facial expressions; he is actually represented as a normal dog, lacking speech and the ability to walk upright.

"If only I can make him understand, I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things...could be bad."

King Triton (also known as the Sea King) is a major character in Disney's 1989 animated feature film The Little Mermaid. He is the ruler of Atlantica, an undersea kingdom inhabited by merpeople. As king, he wields the all-powerful trident, which grants him control over the seas. By his late wife Queen Athena, he is also father to seven daughters, the most notable of which is Ariel. Equal parts over-protective and well-meaning, Triton initially disapproves of Ariel's admiration for the human world on account of his misanthropia.
"[enraged] Seagull? What? You went up to surface again, didn't you? Didn't you?! Oh Ariel, how many times must we go through this? You could've been seen by one of those...humans!"
"[brighten mood] You're absolutely right, Sebastian. Ariel needs constant supervision. Someone to watch over her. To keep her out of trouble! And you are just the crab to do it!"
"[trying to bait Sebastian into telling the truth] Eh, Sebastian. I'm concerned about Ariel. Have you noticed she's been acting peculiar lately? You know, moaning about, daydreaming, singing to herself, you haven't noticed, hm?

Captain James Hook is the main antagonist of Disney's 1953 animated feature film, Peter Pan. He is the bloodthirsty commander of the Jolly Roger, and the scourge of Neverland. Hook has long since abandoned sailing the high seas in favor of having revenge on Peter Pan for cutting off his left hand and feeding it to a crocodile, who has since been in constant pursuit of the captain. While a worthy opponent for Peter, Hook is destined to fail, sometimes because of Peter Pan's ability to fly, but more often through the bumbling actions of his first mate, Mr. Smee, who while unquestioningly faithful to the captain, is incompetent and flimsy.
"Good form, Mr. Smee...? Blast good form! Did Pan show good form when he did this to me? Aye, but throwing him into the crocodile! That cursed beast like the taste of me so well he followed me ever since! Licking his chops for the rest of me...."
"Smee....? SMEE!! Oh, save me, Smee! Please don't let him get me, Smee! Please! Don't let him get me, Smee! Smee! Is he gone, Smee? Oh, Smee, Smee, I can't stand it any longer, I can't!"
"Look alive, you swabs! We got him this time, Mr. Smee. Man the Long Tom, you bilge rats! I've waited years for this. Double the powder and shorten the fuse! Double the powder and shorten the fuse! A pretty sight, Mr. Smee. We'll pot 'em like sitting ducks."
