Here With You - Animatic/Animated Short Film [PAID]
Project Overview
The story about a man and his old dog. The dog is going to be euthanized.
It is their last day together.
Hello!
My name is Sandra. I'm an animation student based in Sweden, currently working on this small short as a graduation film.
The reason why I have put both animatic and animation as a description is due to the fact that until pre production is done, I cannot yet determine whether I’m able to continue beyond an animatic. So please bear that in mind.
In addition to voice acting, I also need a bit of singing. The main character will sing a short song for his dog, so it is a requirement. I do not need you to be a great singer, but I hope for at least a pleasant voice and the ability to stay in tune.
The script currently has around 370 words of dialogue. The song adds about a hundred more words to it. I estimate the film will be around 8 minutes.
Please know that my school can only pay a set amount of 1500 SEK (approx. 170 USD).

Reserved, Ordinary, Selfless
Daniel is the main character of the film. His dog, Toby, means everything to him. But Toby is growing old and getting worse. Daniel ultimately knows he’s making the right choice with euthanasia, but can't help feeling dread over his decision. He doesn't want to let go.
Had in mind a standard North American accent, but open to all.
(Optional) At the end of you audition, sing a small sample of a lullaby or similar slow, soothing songs.
[low, persuading] Come on, buddy. I'm sorry if it's bad but you have to eat something.
(Trying to get Toby to eat his specially made breakfast steak)[half-laughing] What are you doing, you big goober? You're not a puppy anymore, you know?
(Toby is climbing onto his lap)[crying] Thank you. Thank you so much. I don't know what I'd ever do without you, Toby.
(Their last time together)
